Hey guys. So basically, I'm a freshman in college. And for some reason, it's so difficult to make friends here (well, for me at least.) Coming from a relatively small high school, I knew pretty much everyone and everyone knew me and I had a lot of friends. But coming to this college, it just seems like everyone around me has a vibrant friend group and i'm just a lonewolf. I feel so lonely here, and i've been wanting to go to this university all my life. Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

I'm really confused as to which MacBook to purchase. I am starting college in the fall, so I will be needing a new laptop. I will be doing standard things that students do, web surfing, watching movies, word processing, etc. At first my definite choice was the Macbook Pro (regular not retina), but then WWDC came along and the new updated MacBook airs were announced. I have some friends that are apple enthusiasts, and they said that the regular line of MacBook pros will be phased out and will probably not receive any updates. So, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hi, i'm an 18 year old male and when I was around 13 I stupidely shaved my leg hair. So now my leg hair is really coarse and gross. I do not want to shave my leg hair, so is there anything I can do to my leg hair softer?

Hi, I am of Asian origin and I was born with very light skin. Over the years, my body darkened (I am 18 years of age) and now I am really tan. I had always enjoyed being naturally tan, however now it is at the point where i am too tan, and I wish to go to a lighter skin tone. I am fully aware that melanin production is largely influenced by the amount of exposure to UV radiation, and to prevent that I apply sun-screen on my skin when I am in the sun for long periods of time. However, I was wondering if there was anything I could do to dwindle down to a lighter skin tone, such as medications and/or diet. I am not really in need of moral support, I just want straight facts. Thank you :)

I am an 18 year old male, and I had to shave my body hair for my swim team two years ago and since then I've just been trimming my body hair. So now it has been growing back really dark and really noticeable. What should I do? I do not have enough money for laser treatment and when I shave my hair it grows back like the thick, dark, and stiff hair on my stubble.

Why do some people experience symptoms from HIV/AIDs almost immidieatly while some people don't? Some people that were diagnosed with HIV have still not shown any symptoms. Why is this?

If Mendel's observations regarding genetics were true, then how come if a white individual reproduces with a black individual, the offspring tend to be somewhat of a mix between black and white? Mendel's observations imply that the offspring would have a 'chance' to be either black or white.

I know that autoimmune diseases are when the white blood cells of the body are unable to recognize the difference between an antigen and a particular cell of the human body. Is this because the proteins on the cells in a tissue have become similar to that of a pathogen or is it because of a malfunction in the white blood cell?

So now whenever i receive emails to my previous @hotmail address, it goes into another folder. Is there anyway i can get my @hotmail contents and all the mail I am receiving to that address to also come to my main inbox (which is now my @outlook address)? And i tried switching back to my previous @hotmail address but it would not let me. It said my previous email username (.........@hotmail.com) was unavailable. What can i do?

Hi guys. We had a barbecue party today and when my dad ate his first bite of steak he ran and started throwing up. It was as if the food had never reached the stomach, like just stopped dead in the esophagus. He is suffering headaches, frequent hiccups, frequent burps, and is suffering extreme discomfort. This hasn't before, and whenever he tries to eat/drink anything he throws it right back up. Please help!!!!!!

Ok, let me rephrase the question. It isn't really a 'pain' it is more of a nuisance. I do not feel this nuisance when I am standing up, only when i am sitting or laying down. I have had this nuisance for the past week, and for I have had a change in bowel movement for the past day. Any idea what this could be?
