I am quite a classical pianist expert, having a pretty active accompanist in vocal environments, also in classical. My favorite composersare Chopin and Liszt. In 2008, I made my debut at the Amalfi Coast Music Festival as a pianist and a composer. I hold BM, MM, and DMA degrees in Piano. I am also a composer who wrote over 300 compositions, covering both acoustic and electroacoustic genres. Most of them are for piano solo. I started composing around 1980 but not seriously until 1990. I am also pretty involved as a performance art dancer but I still love ballroom, Latin, and swing dance a great deal. I am a very strong fan of Dancing With The Stars ever since the 1st season started. I started this contemporary genre in 2001 and was inspired by Missy Galore, Madonna, and Sandra Bernhard. I am now going into creative dance choreography and even joining up with contact improvisation groups such as Chicago's NCounter. I love almost all kinds of dance. I'm also quite a jamband fan.

4 AnswersAircraft7 years agoWhy is Facebook cracking down on unsolicited friend requesting?
Facebook is also cracking down on private-messaging anyone that you do not know, so it is almost like LinkedIn.
The usual penalty for this would be a block from friend-requesting for 7 days. Further violations can result in your FB account being suspended or even revoked (or "banned").
This is happening in recent years by this famous social networking site.
1 AnswerFacebook8 years agoWhat can one person do if one is going to be evicted from house, but not due to foreclosure?
In this case, your parents had told you that you are not allowed to stay in the house anymore on the day you are told to move out--and you have to move to someplace else.
What items do I need to have just before one gets kicked out of the house so I can get a fresh start?
1 AnswerOther - Family & Relationships8 years agoWhy am I partially frozen out of my Facebook account?
I already changed my FB password and still this issue is not resolved. Chats are still disabled, I cannot email individual FB persons or friends, and I am unable to do any posts from my wall or anyone elses' walls. I am also unable to do my own posts from my own Facebook-created events.
1 AnswerFacebook8 years agoProblems with Dell C1660W Color Laser Printer; How do I correctly feed 10-size envelopes?
I was trying to use the Multipurpose Feeder (MPF) on that printer to print out a 10 size envelope, only to find that there was absolutely no text when I used the Microsoft Word Envelope Printer option on MS Word to try to print text on the envelopes--the return address and the delivery address...after the feeding process was over.
The ink indicators on the printers (there are 4 indicators--1 for black, the other 3 for color) did not show any signs of running out of ink.

2 AnswersMovies8 years agoWhat is the safest website or websites to download docx. reader freeware?
2 of my attempts in downloading freeware to read .docx files had led to either a software icon that is not intended to be a .docx reader, or gives me a prompt warning from McAfee that the download file for this freeware is a trojan or worse and can release viruses, worms, and other malicious code that can damage my computer.
My antivirus detected a very bad virus on my 2nd download attempt and stopped the download attempt immediately before the virus would have been released.
So what does one do to download .docx reader freeware from the net without the fear that the download could contain destructive viruses or all that? I need that .docx reader as soon as possible.
Thanks.
2 AnswersSecurity8 years agoStatic electricity shocks on my Sony MDR-ZX100 headphones, why does this happen?
This happens when you enter a very dry indoor area on a very cold wintry day when dew points outside are -2F or lower and RH is 25-30% or lower.
I am suspecting that there might be a polyester or acrylic component inside the headphones that are prone to built-up static electricity charges when the above conditions happen.
When the charges build up, I get shots of shocks in my ears and I have to remove the headphones.
This is similar to the tribostatic electricity shocks that happened to some people moving shopping carts at Walmart in the past, but this is not tribostatic electricity because the static shocks happened mainly at rest.
Did static electricity shocks happened to other brands of headphones?
1 AnswerOther - Electronics8 years agoWhat can I do to stop Java-related hacker attacks while using Blackboard Collaborate?
I was warned about a security flaw in Java which could set off malware or other attacks on anyone who uses Java while online.
I am taking 2 classes using Blackboard Collaborate, which definitely requires Java for me to participate in these online classes. I am taking one of them at 6pm tonight!!!
There are some advanced settings in my Windows XP in the Java dialog box that I don't understand. I already updated the latest Java version in light of the possible security warning but I don't know if this had the updated security patch.
Should I also set the Java "security" setting to very high also just in case?
And what about Windows Firewall (XP)? Should it be beefed up security-wise also?
2 AnswersSecurity8 years agoDell All-In-One Printer 922 is giving me major problems. Is the problem even worse than that?
Horizontal streaks in my paper.
The ink nozzle self-cleaning system I operated failed to clean the nozzles on the inkjet cartridges and still horizontal streaks.
I replaced both the black and color ink cartridges to try to solve the problem, but still, horizontal streaks exist.
I assume this printer is about to break down.

3 AnswersWords & Wordplay9 years agoWhy did DirecTV drop Big Ten Network (or BTN) from its channel list?
It seems like the probable reason for this sudden dropout of BTN from DirecTV is third-party television broadcast licensing fees going up--or problems with a cable channel's right to create or not to create TV blackout restrictions so that stadium revenues for Big Ten college football games do not go down because people watch Big Ten college football on TV just to save money by not going to the stadium.
The drop happened effective September 1 and will be indefinite.
6 AnswersFootball (American)9 years agoErrant firework shells from Wash. DC 7/4 display burst in the mortar, but why no disastrous chain reaction?
I had seen on TV a fireworks spectacular on July 4, 2012, at the National Mall in Washington.
During this firework show, I saw that several large pyrotechnic shells that were destined to burst in the air about 700 to 100 feet prematurely burst from the mortar. Happened several times. That is, the shells bursted too early from the ground. I probably call these misfired aerial pyro shells.
I was expecting to see a possible major fireworks disaster from the haphazard shells exploding from the ground, but amazingly, the rest of the fireworks in that grand 4th of July display did not blow up on the ground, and the show still was spectacular all the way to the grand finale.
Professional firework shows had past disasters of destructive chain reactions in various locations due to premature bursts of aerial shells on the ground.
No chain reaction, thank God, in that display. How can it be so?
