My judgment was revived. I am worried about it staying on my credit report. I was told that if the old judgment had the same case number as the revival that it would not go back on my credit report. I just want my credit report in tact. By the way I live in Illinois if that helps.

Resurgence Financial LLC sued me and now they are placing my debt with another company. Is this legal since they sued me. Wouldn't that mean that I owe Resurgence since they sued me and this new company for the same bill?

After asking for a statement to be sent in the mail the women became irate and would not let me speak to her manager. When I called back a man answered and told me he sided with the woman. All I wanted was a statement stating how much I owed and who the original creditor was. I don't know what to do now and don't trust these people to act fairly. Plagiarism was found in my research paper. I am worried this will hinder my career. Will people need to look into my file for anything. I am a grad student working on my Masters. When I turned 18 they asked me to sign up for their gym and I did. The problem is that I never used their gym. I received bills in the mail and when I called to cancel they said it was not possible. I never stepped foot in their gym to ever exercise. Being naive I fell for their scheme. I am now 26 and they are still hounding me. Asset Acceptance claims I owe them $4175.49. That is a lot of money for someone who has never used their gym. Is this legal? Is there any way I can fight them on this claim?
