I have a 50 gal. tank and bought 3 convicts. I have 3 fantail goldfish also. By the next day, they had attacted all my goldfish and their beautiful tails are almost gone now. I had to remove my goldfish and put them in another tank if they were to survive. So what can i put in with aggressive Convicts?

Someone also told me their eyelashes fell out from indoor tanning and never grew back. Just wondering if anyone went through this or knows anything about health hazards as far as hair loss.

Been this way for a few months now and don't know why. I take a daily multi-vitamin and on a good diet.

He throws up his food every morning. All his habits and activity and behavior are normal but his food doesn't stay down long in the morning. I give him just a little (a handful) about 1/2 hour later and it stays down and his evening dinner always stays down but i need to know what to give him on an empty stomach in the morning so his ulcer isn't acting up and he can keep his food down. I know i can not give him milk! Any suggestions? He is a tall, large yellow lab - he is 4 1/2 yrs old. He is not overweight or have any other issues, he is otherwise a healthy dog. OH! Sometimes he has 'dry heaves' in the morning too before i have a chance to feed him.

I rescued 2 zebra finches that were kept in a fish tank with no perches and strong stench in the back of a pitch black closet. One of them has no feathers on the back of his head or neck - will they grow back? I was trying to find them a home but figured they will be safer with me and have all the necessities they need. I really don't have the room for them but after what they've been through it's hard to give them up. I wanted to know how long they live so i know how long my husband will be agitated by the continuous chirping - lol. Thank you for your time.

They come with food but need a cage. And why did someone on here say they shouldn't have gravel? All birds need gravel to digest their food. I have special gravel from the pet store with crushed oyster shells in it also. The pet store recommended it. I feed them their regular seed diet with egg food supplement also. Any advice on the price?

I'm selling two finches (one white, one brown). They come with food and gravel but need a cage. I have no idea what to ask for them. I've heard their expensive but will sell cheap as long as they have a good home. Any advice?

My cocktail is very gentle. He's in a huge cage and i need to put the finches in a bigger space (their in a hamster cage). I'm in the process of finding them a home but i want them to be comfortable until i can do so. What are your suggestions?

My cockatiel is scared of almost everything. I rescued a parakeet found in a parking lot. When it recovered and got it's strength back, it started attacking my cockatiel. I plan on finding the finches a new home (they were mistreated), but i have them in a hamster cage and they need something bigger. My cockatiel's cage is huge for just him and i need to know if i should put them together or not.

I heard there are some body parts that can heal itself, i want to know if the liver is one of them. I know its not the kidneys.

We've taken care of this stray kitten (now cat) for over 2 yrs now. How should i adjust him to his new home when i move. I plan on having a country home around woods. He's not an inside cat at all, he's not comfortable inside unless i leave the door wide open so he's comfortable with (escaping) if he feels threatened for some reason. He feels confined so i cannot just let him out of the carrying crate inside the new house. Do i just let him out, outside and hope he stays around? I'm so nervous thinking about his adjustment! Any suggestions? I'm hoping he stays around cuz we have two dogs that he's fond of and i'm thinking if he here's them, he'll stay close by and eventually adjust. Need help!!!

I have a new doberman who literally follows me step by step around the house, 'everywhere'. What techniques can i teach so she isn't stressed out? She's lived her whole life in a crate and is petrified of them now. What possible options do i have and i'm worried about leaving her home when i go back to work.

She doesn't have a winter coat and was found running around with a long-haired siamese--the long haired disappeared. But the short hair stays on the front porch on a heated blanket because she doesn't have a winter coat. We have an inside cat so we can't let her in and she needs medical treatment. I want her but can't afford her and that wouldn't be fair to her. She needs medical care--basic shots, and flea treatment. I had an 'add' in the paper but no return calls to pick her up. Anyone??

She was a rescue several years ago and she eats indoor formula and meow mix but nothing else.
