I was raised in the Catholic religion, but I never believed what they taught, it just did not make sense to me. At a very young age I started to believe in my own definition of just one G-d from the Torah even though at that time I had never heard the word Torah. When I got older I wondered if there was any religion with the beliefs that I had, I found that that what I was believing in was in fact Judaism. I never knew anyone that was Jewish or that practiced Judaism, so I started to learn on my own all I could and decided that I wanted to convert to Orthodox Judaism.

I left the church and all christian beliefs behind many years ago I have been following the 7 laws of Noah for many years and consider myself a B'nai Noach, but there is still something missing.

I recently spoke to a Rabbi and told him my whole life story. The Rabbi said I was a gilgul, I had never heard of this and asked him "what's that"? and he explained a little bit about this belief to me.

My question is am I a Gilgul?

If anyone knows I would appreciate any information, links, books or web sites with information on Gilgul.

My dog had surgery on 6-23-09 for the removal of a tumor and naturally was put under now she needs surgery again and I was told by the Vet that it is perfectly safe for her to be put under again even though she had surgery 4 months and 11 days ago. Actually I have 2 questions: 1 If he is if he is right why do most doctors for people make a person wait at least 6 months after having surgery before they can have anesthetic again for another operation (unless it is an emergency)? 2 Is it safe for my dog to have anesthetic again so soon? Thank you to all who have tried to help me decide to let her have this operation Tuesday or cancel it.
