Apparently in the game you can play as 3 characters. A guy in al black with a weird arm that is a gun, a scientist or a dog.

The goal of the game is to kill aliens.

I remember it had a T rating since the blood in the game was all green. Specifically one of the characters was all black with a weird gun for an arm and kinda glided on the air as well.

The scientist could create gadgets to kill the aliens

And the Dog could wield handguns.

Hi my name is robert and i did a google search for shemagh. came uo with many results. But there is a problem.

Many of these shemaghs are very thin. Now before you say " they are supposed to" , listen.

I was deployed for 15 months in Iraq. I bought a shemagh in town. It was very soft and about 30% thicker than any shemagh i have been able to find.

Anyone know where i can get a shemagh that is thicker and not thinner? Sites?

Anyone make a merino wool shemagh?

I have the Eberlestock Jackhammer Backpack which is 44 liters or 2700 Cubic inches. Is this a decent size bag for 1-3 days backpacking? What could you do with a pack like this? Whats in your pack list? Whats your ideal weight for cold weather?

I live in Montana so cold is a factor as well. Do you think a pack should weigh 30% of your weight or less? i dont buy it from my military experience. But im assuming less weight means less calories spent and less long term harm. Would you carry something heavier if it provided you with comfort?

My friend swears by Bushcraft rules of 30lbs or less . Needless to say he has not much comfort items.

And my definition of comfort items typically add warmth to your body, makes a few things easier to do, reduces stress on your body. I think comfort effects your mind in a huge way from my experience. With out comforting your mind your body can suffer. What do yall think?

Would any parts be interchangeable between the two rifles? Both use 1,5mm receivers, both are milled and both use thick barrels.

The only difference is the RPK has a longer barrel , maybe a different recoil spring and different rear sight. I am wondering if i would encounter issues if i put RPK furniture on the Milled AKM

I do not plan to hunt with it just as a deterrent.

Which makes are of decent quality and aren't that expensive. I ruled out corbon because they only provide 20rds and cost too much. Any other makes that offer 20rd or more for less?

Which 158gr load works pretty good in a heavy .357?

I have been researching some ideas on Solar Panels and a Battery Bank for my Motor home for living off the grid.

I am quite confused by the sheer amount of math involved.

So I have decided that my Watt needs would be around 1500 watts.

I would like Solar Panels to supply 1500 watts.

Batteries I plan to get are the 125AH 12V DC batters from VMAX. Which is 1500 watts per battery. For a total of 4 batteries would be 6000 watts.

I am trying to reduce time and cost as much as possible without sacrificing performance.

I don't use that much power: my TV states 33W, my Ps3 is 18W, I have a solar panel for my flashlight and phone. I don't plan to use a microwave since that is a high energy item. I do plan to use a few 10W lightbulbs, I do want to be able to us a Laptop. And if I need to run high energy items im thinking a Generator is the way to go.

I have not bought anything yet except a small solar charger for my cell phone.

What products do you recommend for a motor home that provides 1500 watts of energy, can be used to charge a 4 battery 125 AH 12v DC battery (each), prefer top mounted on the RV or able to be mobile.

I know the basics of Watt use and how to calculate watts( AHx Volts= Watts and Watts x Time= Amount required.

I am thinking of a solar panel system that is 1500 W with a 55AH Battery. This system is a decent price BUT HEAVY( again why its affordable) My question is :

Can I use a 125AH 12V DC Battery Bank (4 Batteries) and hook it up to my 1500 W solar panel to charge the batteries?

And if there is enough sun how long would it take?

Would I have to charge each battery individually or can I charge the whole bank with just that 1500 W solar

panel?

Im trying to find the best system with a decent price and less building needed. Of course there will be comprimises. For example: The sola system I saw was the Wagan( Cube type) panel from Home Depot for under $1200, and 125 AH 12 V DC Battery 4 pack for $1100 on Amazon.

Just wondering if 1500 W would be enough for this endeavor considering that this type of Battery is 1500 Watts per battery and the system is 1500 watts ( which can be hooked up to more panels)

- I would like to get property to relax, I like to be a little bit solitary but not totally in the middle of nowhere but somewhat close to buy food and supplies. What area would be best for me?

- I have a fixed monthly income(disability). Would $2300 a month buy me some decent property?

-I love the outdoors such as hunting, kayaking, hiking, is the Star Valley area able to accommodate that?

- About Homesteading, what areas are best for homesteading in Wyoming? specifically to be able to grow some crops and some livestock?

- is renewable energy popular in Wyoming? such as wind and solar?

- - In the area im looking at , what kind of people are in the Star Valley? Are they friendly but distant? very friendly? tight knit? Anyone going to show up to my place with a pie :)

-If I bought some acrage how free are you to do what you would like on your own land? ie can you shoot on your own land and nobody will care? can you build stuff without licenses?

I have a close friend who got ran over by a garbage truck. He was in a crosswalk and had the right of way. He has 6 pins in the T-11 area and 2 pins in the ankle and is wheelchair bound for now. The pins may be ppermanent. No other injury. My question is how much can a person get from an accident like that? Were assuming 100% liability on the truck at fault. Is the average $100,000, 200,000 or 300,000 or more? Is the payout higher if it's a well known and insured company? Again were assuming the company is 100% liable.v

Hello my name is Robert and I own a few pistols in various calibers. I seperate them typically by season(penetration vs clothing issue) and (concealibility). Does anyone do this?

I typically use the following calibers.

End of Winter to Spring: 9mm

Spring til Summer: .38 spcl or .380

Summer til Fall : .38spcl or .380

Fall to Winter: .40SW

Are the above approperaite for those seasons. From what I gather from my past military experience is that clothing can effect penetration, if there is no penetration then expansion is impossible. So a .32ACP JHP(poor choice) in fall would be a horrible choice since people wear jackets and more undergarments than say, summer. Plus a .32 ACP sucks in JHP, so FMJ for that. What do most people think? Do you think one caliber can be a "one size fits all" or does a certain caliber excel in one area but suck in another and fills a niche role.

I am getting a rifle that is in need of a scout scope set up. Which is to say it is on the forend more or less. It has a 24 inch barrel, fixed stock and good sights. Im thinking of an Ultimak rail for it. Now i just need a scope. Below are some ideas.

#1 must be reasonable weight

#2 must be illuminated

#3 min magnification: 1x maximum magnification : 8x

#4 cost must be under $900

#5- relief must be at least 9"-15

I have a Hi Power with the SSN of 245=9mm PZ 81 46251 serial . This is a stamped FN and Howco , MD is the import company. Was my model 88 made in 1981? what is so special about this model, the finish is a parkerized finish (not exactly the best type but it works) what is the model 88 worth today? How can i make the slide easier to cock, because of all my pistols this BHP is the hardest to cock, more so than my HK USP .40SW

I have an interest in coins and recently i have seen the dollar fall and was wondering what kind of 10z silver coins are worth investing in? I have seen the Liberty Dollars but their site is closed due to the court cases they are facing and was wondering which silver coins would be best to get for the value?

I am prior mil and im used to the M4 platform and so im used to things like bipods, grips, optics and what not. Those are very useful for me but i would like to know how to upgrade the insides of the M4 and what to replace with something better. Any ideas?

Here is a list of what i could think of:

Replace Bolt with Titanium Bolt Group

Replace Trigger Group with a Timney Trigger(3lb)

Replace barrel from 16" to a 22" Barrel (threaded) or Replace total Upper

What else can be replaced from the factory. I know most of these items are not needs. But i do want to increase the durability of the platform...what do you suggest.

Please note I dont mean optics, buttstock, or grips only items that actually assist in function(such as the trigger, barrel,bolt group etc...)

I have variety of experiance with Aimpoint, Eotech and Trijicon ACOG. Now i am interested in the Accupoint series. Which series is best for a SDM rifle(Squad Designated Marksman). The ranges I might shoot at are 50M-400M at the most. The SDM is the middleground between Infantry and Sharpshooter the only differance being the range each shoots at and mobility. Sharpshooters and snipers are typically static or in one position, while the SDM moves as part of a squad but also has a scope for targets. I plan on using a M14 on a Sage Chassis(EBR) and mount a Burris Fast fire 2 reflex sight on top of the accupoint . So which model would be best for my type of scenario. Refer to the specs below. I neeed a variable scope, please specify what reticle you suggest, Triangle , MilDot, German Dot etc...

Range: Up to 400M

Platform: M14

Role: SDM

Weight: is a factor but not by much

Ok so i took the first step and got the socom 16 rifle. My ideal purpose for this rifle is a General All Purpose Rifle that can be good for CQB but also be used in a semi DM role. Which in my case could range from 50M-400M. I do need recommendation for a Stock System or how i can turn my synthetic stock into a more adaptable weapon system. I also have chosen the Trijicon Accupoint in 1x-4x24, PEPR mount,/ Burris Fastfire2. So the optics i got down. Should i replace the stock as a whole. Or should i just buy picatinny rails and attach them to the fiberglass stock which would be lighter. But im not sure how i would attach rails. Any ideas? Weight is an issue but not a big one, price is an important factor as well .

So if you can please such either a Stock Chassis System that is adaptable or how i can attach rails tomy stock?
