  • I have a toenail infection. What should I do?

This started suddenly a few weeks ago and coincides with the fact that a few days before that I trimmed my nails and this one was cut kinda too short.

My big toenail has become kinda yellowish and the nail fold is red and pretty swollen and kinda detached at least towards the front. And it kinda hurts, not in general but noticeably when I stress my toe, and it is humid and there is some little transparent liquid, maybe a little pus also and if I remember well some little blood on the day I noticed it, coming from under the nail fold. And the whole thing smells pretty bad. I have read several remedies ranging from soaking my foot in salty water three times a day to keeping my nail dry.

    So... what do I do?

  • Are the towns on Stromboli safe from the volcano?

There are two towns on such a small island that is volcanic. This kinda feels like being trapped in a room with a crocodile. How hasn't Stromboli burned the two towns?

  • Did my charger kill my brother's phone?

A few days ago my brother asked me to give him my charger to charge his phone, a Nokia Lumia. I gave him one that I got along with a tablet (a Galaxy... something) and I had also used my charger for my tablet and my phone (Microsoft Lumia) multiple times. So he plugged it in but after some time he came to my room, gave it to me to touch it and his phone was warm. And now he is claiming that it doesn't work. I don't understand this. Is something wrong with his phone?

  • What exactly does "character development" mean?

When me and my brother discuss about movies and TV series he often talks to me about "character development". I can't understand what exactly deos he mean. That the backstory of the character is shown to justify his current personality? That he has some features in his personality unusual among people? I don't know. Sometimes I have the sense that he is just saying pseudo-cultural nonsense to sound more expertised on movies and TV than me.

  • Why does it shock someone when he is hit on his sides?

Many people find it funny to strike someone on the side of his waist, around where the kidney is, causing him to jump of his seat, and in turn the person hit feels like punching the hell out of the one that hit him. This part is sensitive in everyone. Why is that?

  • What happens if I save a game on GTA San Andreas on a different file?

OK, here's the thing. I have started a game in GTA San Andreas which I'm determined to finish without cheats. Whenever I go save it, you have probably noticed that it gives you many files to save the game into, so I always save it on the same file.

The issue. I'm close to doing the mission Stowaway and I want to test a glitch that is said to allow the player to save the Andromada in the airplane hangar at Verdant Meadows. The problem is that in other to cause this glitch I need to use cheats and as I said I want to keep this particular game cheatless till the end.

So, if start the mission and cause this glitch (thus failing the mission itself) and then go to save the game, if I save the game on a file different from the one I usually save it into, will it be like I have created a different game in which I have saved the Andromada by the use of cheats, while there's still the actual game in which I haven't used cheats and I haven't done Stowaway and I haven't caused the glitch?

  • Can Xanax help me with my needle phobia?

The day after tomorrow I'm having a blood test. My doctor gave me a prescription for Xanax but, since I'm less than 16 and about 60-65 kg in weight, she gave me 0,25 mg. I don't really know if the needle hurts more or less than I would think. What I care about is keeping myself calm, cause I recognise that my phobia is just a phobia but I can't control it. I have already taken one pill. How much would I require.

  • How much Xanax should I take before a blood test to be calm?

In a few days I'm gonna have a venipuncture and I haven't done such thing since years ago. The last time I was pricked by a needle was when I had a vaciine, three years ago. So my doctor gave me a prescription for Xanax to use it if I'm feeling nervous before the test. My phobia is of the level that about all the previous times I was about to be pricked by a needle (blood test or vaccine) I had panic attacks and I was in a consant nervous state before I entered the doctor's office. The last time I did that I was actually very calm when I entered the doctor's office but I was still shaking. So... I'm 16 years old, about 65 kg in weight and... how much Xanax should I take to keep myself calm during the procedure?

  • What can be the cause of pain on the calf?

Today after school I went to bed and fell asleep but after some time I was awakened by a severe muscular pain that seemed to be on my gastrocnemius muscle. I was moaning, I tried to walk but it was difficult for me, but after I kept rubbing and testing my leg for a while the pain simmered down. Now I can walk normally but it still hurts a little, at least when I do some specific moves like stretching my leg.

  • What is the name of this pro wrestling move were the wrestler uses the ropes of the ring to launch himself onto the opponent?

I don't know if this move is actually possible and existing or just portrayed in fiction. I'm talking about this thing were a wrestler runs towards the ropes of the ring and falls on them with all of his weight and they stretch backwards and then launch him straight onto his opponent.

  • Do you like Muse?

May you also tell me if you are a guy or a girl?

I'm a guy and I LOVE Muse but my brother always tells me that they are primarily loved by teenage or pre-teen girls. He has a tendency to compare them to Justin Bieber, or other such suckish "artists", but I'm pretty convinced that they have infinite times higher quality than JB.
