  • What's your feeling on assisted suicide?

I've just watched some very disturbing videos on youtube of people going to a suicide clinic in Switzerland, consenting and being killed by some poisonous chemical within minutes.

This is just disturbing and family members(mothers, wives) going along to offer their support.

    How is this normal?

  • Non-Christian supernatural encounters, please help? Read below?

I'm trying to find non-Christian supernatural encounters i.e testimonies of people who were either Christian, atheist, buddhist, muslim, hindu etc who were converted supernaturally by an entity claiming to be the true God.

I've been searching on line without any luck and all I can see are people claiming to have seen Jesus, left Islam, Buddhism, hindu for Christianity etc.

I'm trying to find a Christian for example who left Christianity because Allah, Buddha etc came to tell them they are the true God.

If anyone knows of this, can they please tell their story or post a link for me.

    Thanks

  • Christians, a question about heaven?

When we get to heaven, what role will angels play in eternity? Right now ( according to the bible) they are messengers(ministering spirits). In heaven are we going to coexist with them? What do you think?

  • Christians, does the choice to believe come entirely from us ?

Is God involved? Does God convict everyone's heart but some people resist him? How much of it is a choice? What do you think?

  • Atheists who became so after studying the Bible?

What in the bible brought you to that?

Did you have a hard time believing Bible miracles like how the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground?

Do you feel eternal hell is too extreme?

Do you not agree with how God drove out those nations in favour of the Israelites?

    anything else, please share.

I will admit I am a Christian who loves the Lord with all my heart but hell bothers me. The thought of all those people headed there breaks my heart. I also believe that God is all knowing and we know in part so I choose to trust His judgment in this.

  • How did people come up with the idea that God answers yes, no or wait?

Where in the bible do people come up with this? I see it a lot on here. Reading the bible leaves me with a different conclusion. Basically the answer is alwas yes, if you believe.

    Mat 21:22

If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer."

  • Coincidence or God, opinion?

This happened a while back. I was on a train and noticed this girl kind of staring at me. When I got off the train she approached me and introduced herself. She had recently moved in the area and was praying, seeking God for a good church in the area. She said on the train, God had said "talk to that girl, she'll help you" I was already a Christian and knew a good church around where she lived.

  • Do you know that God reveals Himself to these people?

muslim, hindu, Buddhist etc who is zealously doing everything required in their religion thinking they are serving the living God. reveal Jesus will be revealed to them, who is the only way.

Saul is a perfect example of this, who in his zeal for God, thinking he was serving God, was persecuting the church. God showed His truth to him. There are tons ot testimonies from muslims, hindus, Buddhist, even atheists who have been brought to Jesus by divine revelations.

  • What happens to those who never heard about Jesus? Are they doomed to hell?

    Romans 2

12All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. 13For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God's sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous. 14(Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law, 15since they show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts now accusing, now even defending them.) 16This will take place on the day when God will judge men's secrets through Jesus Christ, as my gospel declares.

Do you think this passage answers this question?

  • Why are you allowing satan to demote you?

This is for those who accept evolution, christians included.

God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."

God created us to rule over all His creation and its happening just as He said. All creation is subject to us. We can never be on the same level, let alone be below any of them. So why let satan say you are related to a monkey in any way.

Monkeys are below us and will forever be.That's why you'll never see a monkey running for president, anywhere in the world.

  • How can you say God doesn't exist when you cant even see around the corner?

If He was around the corner, you wouldn't know.

With our limitations we cant make such a bold statement

  • Would it be wise for me to say there's no gold in england?

Lets say no gold had ever been dug up in England. Would it be wise for me to say there isn't any.

Just because none has been discovered yet doesn't mean there surely isn't any.

But if I search the whole of England using appropriate material and I cover the whole area and find none only then can I say there's no gold in England.

  • in all seriousness, have you done this?

Have you ever said " God, Im not sure you exist, I think Christians are crazy, delusional etc but in a case you do exist, please reveal yourself to me"

    Or something along those lines

  • judge this case, will you?

You are called to judge a case of a tribe division. You are told this tribe used to live peaceful, everyone getting along until one day some were fishing, and a mermaid jumped out of the water then dived back...

The fishers went back and reported to the rest of the tribe what they had seen. Some believed from the account of the fishers, some were not convinced but went to the river with the fishermen and saw the mermaid for themselves, then believed.

Some however don't believe the account of the fishermen, they claim mermaids don't exist, the fishermen are delusional etc

The fishermen respond by saying they never used to believe mermaids existed either but after seeing they now knew. They invite the non- believers to come to the river and to see for themselves and if the mermaid doesn't appear then they are justified in calling them names but they refuse to go to the river because its a waste of time etc

If you had to set a judgment to bring peace to this tribe. What judgment would you give?

  • Don't you think there should be balance somewhere ?

    Imagine two people,

one bedridden since birth, living in pain till death

and another living a healthy, successful and enjoyable life

Don't you think that the sick person should have hope of a good life too?

If our lives start and end here, would it be fair?

    shout frantically at him

Run quickly and physically stop him

or let him go, its his life

  • Is satan omnipresent?

He was hurled down to earth and he deceives Christians but does he know all of us like God does, can he see our thoughts and is he everywhere etc

  • Aren't you too easy on the big bang theorists?

God said He created us and they say that's not true, we actually came from a big bang.

Don't you think they should create all the conditions that brought this big band about and create something to show how they came about this theory. God created two people, one will do for them, if that is too much a baby will be ok or even an animal.

    Is that not fair?
