  • albinism and eye color?

I have Grey eyes that change color depending on what I wear (from bluish to greenish, more blue then green) anyway, my eyes are very very sensitive to light, it hurts when ever I am around bright light and my vision is bad and is getting worst very quickly (I got new glasses a little less then a year ago and, on an eye chart, I can only see lines 3 2 and 1). My mother was reading about Albinism which only occurs (or affects) the eyes, and it says that there is a large percentage of Puerto Ricans with albinism and I both my mother and father are Puerto Rican. anyway I just wanted to know if it seems possible that I could have it in my eyes. (by the way I was born in 1990 if the year is relevant).

  • Online Schooling/ homeschooling?

Hi I live in New York City and I am looking into finishing 12th grade online or through correspondence. I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice, I plane on going to a community college so transferring my credits shouldn't be a problem plus I am prepared to take a college prep diploma. I have posted other questions about this but now I want to learn more and some of the stuff online is hard for me to understand, so if anyone who knows what they are talking about can help me... Thank you.

  • Infected Dog, possibly mange or other? kind of long please read.?

My uncle has seen a dog that has been tied up and very neglected (which I call abuse). He wants to take the dog to a good home (the owner is willing to give him up) but the dog seems to have a skin condition. He has patches of fur missing on his legs and he is very very they would call it peel-y (or sore, sensitive, exposed, peeling or whatever) The dog has been chained to a pipe in the basement and the harness is far far too tight (my grandmother can't even fit one finger between the dog and the harness and it seems to be cutting in to him) We want to help him but my uncle has his own dog and no one will take a sick dog. I f you have any idea about what it might be that he has it could help (we are going to consult a vet but we would like to have some idea as to what the dog might have before we do so (vets are very expensive and we don't want to infect any other dogs in the waiting room). Thnx! He really is a great dog.

  • American School Of Correspondence?

Hi i am a 12th grader in a new york public school but i am looking to get out of that situation and i was wondering if anyone could tell me how the American school of correspondence would work for me. I plan on attending a community college so getting into college with their diploma shouldn't be a problem. i just want to know about my credits and if anyone knew how i could work that out. (i need 44 credits to graduate, i have like 34 or something so far long story as to why and my credits for this year wont add up) i was just wondering about how this would work. can anyone who knows the answer or knows someone who is enrolled (or is or has been a student them self) help me out? oh and I am 17 going on 18 in july of 2008, if age is important. my mom supports my decision and will pay so there is no conflict by the way.
