  • If there is an eternity of time past?

Wouldnt there always be time in the past that still needs to happen which would make my existence NOW in time logically impossible?

  • How does an atheist account for the laws of thermodynamics?

Specifically, our universe makes good sense if you match up a creator that made matter from nothing, and the laws of thermodynamics.

From an atheistic perspective, I dont see how they apply?

If you basically can not get something for nothing, then matter must have always existed. If there is always an increase in disorder and entropy, then would there not be only disorder and entropy at this point in time?

  • Evolution is an impossibility. Let me clarify...?

Please refer to my earlier ques.., Oh! alright will call it a challenge.

My point! Evolution needs matter to have happened. It could not have existed for all eternity, and please follow your leading educated evolutionists that deny the possibility of spontaneous generation. If you didn't like my "time" reasoning, then check out the 2nd law of thermodynamics, that will show you from a easier to understand approach based on SCIENCE why matter would not exist now if it had existed from all eternity. Sorry, but time is real, its distance / time, and it only happens if there is matter. You know, molecules. And please show me some energy in the absence of all matter. Oh ya, you cant, its to late, because matter exists!! Ya, your right, evolution happens every day, WITHIN KINDS. Fish have a little different fish because the environment changes and a trait disappears from the gene pool. When is the last time you saw a monkey have a "Neanderthal". I think that covers it.

  • Evolution is an impossibility.?

Evolution could only have happened under two scenarios:

    1. Matter existed for all eternity.

    - If matter existed for all eternity, then time had to exist for all eternity. If time existed for all eternity, then there is a time line in the direction of the past that never ends. If it never ends, then there would always be time that needs to happen before now. Therefore it could never be right here now in time. The only way we could be right here now in time is if time had a start date when Matter first existed.

    2. Matter spontaneously generated.

    - Matter came from nothing, nothing. If there is something, then we have Time, because time = distance/speed. If there is time we go back to #1 above. We all know that spontaneous generation is impossible.

  • What pleases God?

I submit that a lot of things please God such as love and kindness. These are actually commands that we should be obedient to. I take it a step further and suggest that although obedience pleases God, ("it is better to obey than to sacrifice"),

that it is really His nature and anything and everything done within it that really pleases him.

Anything outside his nature he hates, anything inside his nature he loves and is pleased by.

The bible is God's nature written. Jesus said if you have seen me you have seen the father. All the commands to obey and to act are a reflection of Gods' and Jesus' nature. Jesus does not lie. He does not steal, He believes, He is humble, He is obedient etc etc. Jesus pleased the father, "this is my son in whom I am well pleased", because ultimately, he acted completely within the nature of his Father.

  • If you think men are basically good....?

Then why do children need to be taught right from wrong. A room full of children unsupervised is soon chaos.

Why do men with unchecked power soon resort to grievous evil?

Are not all men, left to their own devices and desires, self centered, self serving and self preserving?

  • Are you living true to your world view?

If you are an atheist are you living true to that philosophy?

    - You will die and thats it, and you will not be accountable.

    - Maybe pleasure is important? Should you follow it all the way?

If you are a Christian, are you living true to that philosophy? God said if you love me you will obey me.

    - You cant obey what you dont know?

    - Do you obey what you do know?
