  • For a Federal subsidized student loan, the interest paid by the government while you are in school are you required to pay it back?

So if I have a $5000 subsidized student loan and the government pays say $3000 in interest while I m in school. Am I responsible for paying the loan amount ($5000) plus the interest paid by the government ($3000) or just the loan amount ($5000)?

    Thank you.

  • Best way to write this sentence?

    I have written:

The colonists of Roanoke moved to live with nearby natives because they could no longer live on their own with minimal resources. This theory can be proved by the following evidence: ‘Croatoan’ was craved into a tree, John White was told that the settlers were planning on moving elsewhere, Archaeologists have found European artifacts where the colonists were thought to have gone, all the houses and resources were gone, and the Jamestown settlers would hear stories from the natives about people like them living with Indians.

I have wondering if it would be better to list the supporting details as First, Second, Third, etc.. instead of just using a colon.

    What do you think?

  • Please help me with this chemistry problem?

assume that if iodine is allowed to migrate freely between equal volumes of water and kerosene, 90% of it will end up in the kerosene and 10% in the water. If you started with 1.0g of iodine total in the water layer, and extracted with an equal volume of kerosene, how much iodine would remain in the water?

If you then discard the kerosene layer and extracted with another equal volue of fresh kerosene, how much iodine would be left in the water?

What total percent of the iodine was removed from the water?

For the first part I thought 0.1 g of iodine will remain in the water since 10% of iodine is in the water. But I don't know if that is right or even how to solve the other parts
