Hey There Guy
How to upload photos or video's from camera to mac book?
Hi, I have a Cannon Power Shot a590 (I don't know if this matters) and can't figure out how to upload onto my mac. I just got a new mac book and am trying to figure it out. It isn't recognizing the mass storage device when I plug the camera into the mac. When I try and upload anything from the camera to the mac, the mac just has a run time error. I don't have the slightest clue on how to work this thing. I've tried all the photo and video programs on it, and even uploaded new ones I had from my old PC. Still nothing, is it just the camera? Anything helps, this is really getting frustrating.
Thanks!

As soon as he got on stage was anyone else screaming at her to bust the joke out when she got the mic back?
2 AnswersCelebrities1 decade agoSo do you think Republicans on here even listen to O'Reilly?
I'm not going lie...I watch O'Reilly every night (don't judge me)
Last night, Bill gave Obama overall a B- on how he is handling everything.
Tonight, Bill announced Consumer Spending has gone up 2.2% this quarter; and he said he was glad the economy is starting to make some headway.
So, any Republicans watch that? If you don't get your news from the leader of your party Bill (unless you get it from Rush, understable)...do any Republicans watch the news? Or is O'Reilly part of the left wing media?

3 AnswersTeaching1 decade agoAnother Abortion and Crime rates correlation?
Okay ... not only did American crimes rates plummet in the 1990's, so did Canada's which is were I will start ... if Roe vs. Wade was put in place in '73 ... it would put the those born on that date in the 1990's (b/w the ages of 18-24 ... who statistically commit most of the crime in America and Canada) ... Roe vs. Wade also liberalized a lot of Canada on abortion laws too ... the counter argument is that b/c of Roe vs. Wade is that violent crimes decreased, but petty crime (theft and victimless crime increased) b/c less people grew up with out their fathers? That doesn't make any sense for a counter argument?
3 AnswersSociology1 decade agoRepublicans think we're moving towards Communism and Facism, but Gitmo and Patriot Act weren't?
I know it's not all Republicans, just a few that really get fearful about everything their fearless leaders say...but for example, Glenn Beck just made a comparison between National Socialism Nazi Germany and how Obama is governing...I don't disagree with Republicans for arguing points, but does it make anyone uneasy about Cheney telling America were going to get bombed b/c of Obama's new approach to handling terrorism? No, I didn't "drink the kool aid" ... but Obama hasn't even done anything yet and it's not even been a month, and critics are going wild against him...Can anyone make a educated assesment? Also, people keep saying "Most Americans" are for keeping Gitmo open and the wars on terror...but 50% of people that live in New York City want Bush investigated...thats Rep and Dems...is anyone as confused as I am about our media and the right?
11 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoLooking to volunteer abroad, anyone know any good NGO's or website that aren't pay to play?
I have yet to find to many sources with people I know to volunteer anywhere...and everything on the internet is pay as you go which is really starting to annoy me...I've been looking for a couple days on idealist.com and other websites with little luck...anyone know any websites that would accommodate me or are they all pretty much you have to pay?
1 AnswerCommunity Service1 decade agoDoes it make anyone feel uneasy about the 'flat tax' being implemented in Iraq? ?
Am I crazy or does this seem so weird that a conservative government would impose such a conservative tax ideology on this country...I'm not really arguing for or against that 'fair/flat tax'...I'm just saying could this mean something bigger?
1 AnswerOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoWould anyone have changed there vote if there was evidence 1 million people have died in Iraq?
1 million is more than Rwandan genocide
1 million is more than Darfur genocide
1 million is the death toll every major country has the Iraq casualties at except the United States

9 AnswersElections1 decade agoWhy do people vote based on Abortion?
I'm confused because Bush was anti-abortion and in his 8 years did nothing or even make an attempt to do anything to make abortion illegal...So why do people vote on such a pointless issue? Or does it go back to people voting for individuals who they can have a beer with?

25 AnswersElections1 decade agoAnyone out there who voted for John McCain, not voting for John McCain?
Someone told me an interesting story about how they voted for McCain in the Primary because they loved he was more so a social liberal compared to most Republicans and also had more moderate views than most right-wing conservatives; but then as time went on they felt he basically "sold out" to quite a few folks that elected him...I don't care who you are voting for nor why...did anyone else think or know anyone else like this?
2 AnswersElections1 decade agoDoes it make you uneasy that McCain already has shadowy figures on his staff like William Timmons?
Does this make anyone uneasy when you see all the connections Cheney and the Bush family have with the middle east and oil...and you look at a couple of McCain's staffers and who they have lobbied for and what they have done in their past?
Why do you think the media hasn't talked about this too much or why don't you think Obama has brought this up in light of the Ayers discussion?
