Since ROTC scholarship contract calls for 8 years of service 4 in reserve and 4 active. So if you decided to go to college and eventually decide that you want to do rotc and complete the 4 year, the contract will only be four years?

Also what happens if your active or reserve. If your active duty you have to live on the base or get shiped to combat zones? and If your in reserve do you decide where to live, either on a army base with your family or anywhere else as long as you meet up for the drill every month?

So General office are the officer but do they recieve the rank of an regular stripes of a regular soldier too?

Whats the difference between warrant and a general office?

If I do ROTC do I become an E-3 or and O1?

I'm Chinese my mother will think I will be subjected to hazing because of Pvt Danny. But the thing is I'm in High School and want the ROTC scholarship even though I can sign up for ROTC during college year but you know its still expensive to pay. So she won;t sign my ROTC scholarship papers.

I meet all the requirements and recently recieved my citizenship naturalization so fk yea! And I know I will get it cause my academic is high.

What can I do?

I plan to join either the army or marines to be a medic and a combatant and I hope not to kill anyone just be a medic.

I've heard that they generally put guys from the same area together during traning rather then throwing them everywhere for traning that true. It might just easy stuff up.

So far I'm in school with partial ghetto students and immature students who wants to be a lawer or a doctor. I have many acquaintances. No of which I can associate deeply. I'm act imature thought I hate it just to join in, but I'm going to end that. I'm in the wrestling team I cannot truly interact with them either. And **** it feels like a prison! With a bunch of people who won't stop talking.
