  • big flying bugs in Virginia?

I live in Chesapeake, VA...and for the past 2 years I've noticed a rapid population burst of these big flying bugs...

They're black and kinda resemble water bugs only they're fast as hell and have the mobility of flies..very common now...and I don't know if they're able to sting or not...

    Anyone know what they are?

  • Can god really be both all-powerful and all-knowing?

For God to be all-knowing he would have to know the future with 100% certainty, right?

Likewise, for God to be all-powerful, he would have to be able to do whatever he wants, whenever he wants, right?

But If god looks into the future and saw with 100% certainty that he would heal a dying child named Cindy tomorrow at exactly 2:30 pm, then it is impossible for him to do otherwise. Thus there is something he cannot do (he can't decide not to heal her) and is therefore not all-powerful.

If god has the ability to decide not to heal the girl, then he wasn't originally 100% certain in the first place when he looked into the future and saw that he was going to heal her, and thus is not all-knowing.

so isn't being all-powerful contradictory to being all-knowing and vice versa?
