I just had to have my thermostat replaced and it got me wondering why an engine needs one. Wouldn't it run cooler without one and wouldn't that put less stress on the engines parts. Just wondering .

I have a 95 4x4 blazer with a 4.3 L engine . Any time the temperature drops below about 15* it will not start. Once the temp goes back up above freezing it will start again. I added an engine heater. It didn't matter. I changed the computer in it because the mechanic said he couldn't read it . You can't read the new one ether and it didn't help. I changed the spark plugs , wires , distributor cap and rotor , and ignition module . didn't mater it still won't start in the cold. I changed the air temp sensor , coolant temp sensor , and the engine temp sensor . It still will not start if the temp goes below 15 degrees . It turns over just fine. I have a new battery and a new starter in it . So why won't it start ?

Oh yes , I have it towed to different mechanics and they pull it in to there nice warm shops and in a little while it will start right up and they look at me like I'm pulling there leg and charge me $100 for taking up there time . The next morning it won't start again . It's driving me crazy !!

96 Escort heater and ac fan only works on 1 and 2. It's dead on the 3 and 4 settings. Thought it was a bad fan switch so replaced it but that didn't change the fan not working on the faster settings. Any ideas?

Why do you need 60 votes in the senate to pass anything and not just 51 ? Can this be changed ? How is anyone supposed to get anything done if you need 60 votes out of 100 ?

Hilary and Obama have split and state delegates . It looks like they are splitting the super delegates too. What do democrats do on the third or forth balot ? Who do they turn to ? Who do you think would make a good darkhorse ( comprimise ) candidate for the democrats if they can't decide between these two ?

Don't get me wrong . I'm a fan of the Clintons , but I just have to wonder how do you make that much serving the public ? As president and first lady and then as senator and former president , does government really pay that well ? With that much money how can anyone understand the needs of average people ?

Is it as simple as finding someone that you can put up with ? That doesn't drive you crazy . And more importantly that is willing to put up with you . I 've been married for 31 years and the thought ossurred to me the other day that I don't know how my wife has put up with me and all my faults for all these years . I have put up with her faults to and love her all the more for them . So is this the real secret to a long marriage or am I just lucky ?

For my Christian freinds . I understand that Easter celebrates the reserection . And I know that Christ was Crusified on Good Friday . What I don't understand is where the formula for the date of Easter came from ? Wasn't Christ crusified just before Passover ? Shouldn't Easter come at the same time as Passover ? How was it decided that Easter should be the first sunday after the first full moon after the spring solstus ? This seems more like a peagan type of formula . So how and why did the formula for Eather's date come about ?

That is assuming it is hillary and McCain. it's still early and things can change but who should there Vp's be if it is them ?

Won't it make a pretty down convention if Hillary wins ? All the democrats will have egg all over there faces ! Will she just forget all those endorsements ? Or will she put the kennedy's and kerry outside looking in ?

I started watching The Raiders in 1970. Then they were a talented collection of misfits that a coach named John Madden was able to mold into winners. Now they can't even keep a coach more than a year or two !! Davis just can't help messing with everybodies mind. I'm seriously thinking about switching teams. That's hard though after 37 years of rooting for the same team. So should I keep following Oakland and hope Al kicks the bucket or find a new team ?

These movies are filled with murder and butchery and as much evil as I can Imagine. These movies are advertisements for the devils work. I find it amazing that no christian minister or preist speaks out against these types of movies. Evil simply drips from them. So is watching these types of movies a sin or not and if not why not ?

By saying he wants to get rid of nuclear weapoons did Obama ruin his chances to become president. Especialy with Iran trying to devlope one. Or is this a great move on his part ?

All other democracies in the world use a parlimentarian form of government. The people elect Representatives and the representatives choose a leader from among the representatives. Would this be a better govenment for us? One advantage is shorter campain times. Less money spent campaining means less chance to corrupt those we elect.

A second advantage is only a majority goverment can rule. This means things get done. No bickering no inaction. If the government can't pass the bills it introduces it falls and one that can replaces it.

My consrevative friends tell me they have never met a good government program. If those things our government does for us are not good then they must be evil right? If they are evil and we are the government then are we evil too? If the answers to these questions are no then are my conservative friends wrong? Are the things our government tries to do for us a good thing? Please tell me who is right.

If instead of rebates to the poor, what if tax exemptoins were made for food and housing. If stocks and bonds were taxed like any other purchase. With a tax rate of 25% would this make scents? I know this is a republican idea, but even as a democrat I think this would be better than our current tax scheme. Is threre a problem with it that I'm not seeing?

A co=worker was disaplined for taking pictures of womens backsides. Not nude or anything, but still it was of there bottoms. I want to know if there is a law against this or if this is just unecceptable behavior.
