ER visit price range?
I have cicp and the co-pay is $50 for an emergency visit. I'm in a lot of pain and I tried to go through peak vista for a pelvic exam and they said they wouldn't be able to schedule me for that until May! The only thing I can think of is to go to memorial hospital through emergency care. I know the initial pay will be $50, and I'm guessing they will give me different tests to see what's going on. Like a pelvic exam and possibly an ultrasound and or a pregnancy test. If anyone has experience with the medical field could you give me an idea of what I will be billed ?
2 AnswersMedicine6 years agoWhat should I expect to be charged if I'm charged at all?
Me and my husband have a cat, and when we left the apartment she was left in one of the rooms mistakenly. (she's very sneaky) when we came home she tore up a 2 inch By 2 inch square. It's tiny. I was thinking to replace the small area, but my husband doesn't think we should. I know they replace carpet every time someone moves out of the apartments here so I'm wondering how much we'll be charged upon moving out? There was no pet deposit because she is an ESA, but we did however pay the initial safety deposit. So will the damage come out of that since it's minimal? Or what should we expect to be charged if we are charged at all?.. Please help or give any helpful advice if at all possible.
1 AnswerRenting & Real Estate6 years agoIs this normal?
My period just ended about 3 days ago. I've felt really bloated for the past few days, and today I noticed a little bit of spotting in my discharge, sex has been really uncomfortable, and at times painful. Me and my husband don't usually have any problems unless I'm ovulating, I have pressure on the right hand side of my pelvic area. But I haven't felt it like this before. Is this a normal thing? Is it just due to hormonal changes?
1 AnswerWomen's Health6 years agois it caused by her birth control?
My friend called me telling me she was in some pain, she also said, and i quote,"Something comparatively large and pink just fell out of my vagina " she's not sexually active, so I looked up some info and all I got was that it was a blood clot. Anything else had to do with pregnancy and it wouldn't have counted for her since she isn't sexually active. And on top of that she said she got a shot to prevent her from getting blood clots.I told her things aren't guaranteed % 100 in this world. So I'm wondering what the heck is wrong and what is going on with her body. She's explained it to be hard, but squishy in texture, and it's pink. I don't know what to tell her, besides go to the doctor. Has anyone else had this happen to them?
1 AnswerWomen's Health6 years agoGood Spay and Neuter Clinic?
I need to get my cat spayed A.S.A.P. I heard they will do it at the humane society, but it's a ways away from where I live. I live in Colorado, and would like to get my cat spayed. She's already had a kitten, due to the fact that family members let her out of the house while I was gone. I would like to know what other spay and neuter clinics that are in Colorado and reputable. I've heard a lot of crazy stories.. and would just like to make sure my cat gets the best care. I am planning on getting it done a week or so after she finishes her heat cycle, she just started about 3 days ago.(Hopefully it's soon) if all else fails I'll take her to the Humane Society if they are willing to spay her. I just would like to get it taken care of. And She's almost 2 years old if that makes any difference at all.
1 AnswerCats6 years agoJust Curious, because I have a large breed of dog.?
I was walking my dog, and my friend told me that people were intimidated by my dog. And I didn't really see it, because for the most part she's very friendly and just wants everyone to pet her and what not. And I'm not sure how the conversation went left field, but she said if someone was to attack me, and my dog bit said attacker that I would get sued and my dog would be put down. Now, my dog has never bit someone or anything actually. She's been around other dogs, even cats and has not attempted to cause them any harm. So this frustrated me in a way. Because most people now a days get dogs as companions as well as for protection.... is it really true that if your dog bit someone while trying to protect you, that they would be put down and you sued for the persons injuries? I don't want to believe her, because it seems cruel to me.. but with the justice systems of today I can't really be super surprised they'd put down a dog loyally trying to protect it's owner. Can anyone shed any light on this? I hate the idea of my dog losing her life trying to protect mine. It hasn't happened, but anything can happen. Nothing is guaranteed in this world...or it's justice systems for that matter.....
6 AnswersDogs6 years agotwo periods in a month?
My period was late this month. And when I got it there was no cramping. I would just bleed a little, some time would pass and I would bleed some more. This went on about 6-7 days. Then started to sort of end. Still had red/brown discharge until today and I did have sex with my husband today and afterwards I had a little blood. But now I'm starting to get slight cramps. Like I feel like my period is going to start. And it literally just ended a few days ago! I'm not pregnant, I took two pregnancy tests when my period was late and both were negative. And I'm not on birth control, so it's not a side effect of that. Has anyone else gotten a weird period like this? Please help.
1 AnswerWomen's Health6 years agoWhat can I feed my dog to help?
My dog has had the runs for the past two days. And I am not sure what's causing it. I haven't started her on a new brand of food. She does have this blanket she sleeps with, and she'll sometimes chew on. But I threw it away today it was too dirty to clean she got a lot of her "mess" on it. The blanket hasn't caused any problems before. Just threw it away to be safe. But besides that is there anything I can at least give her for the time being? I feel bad for her... she's still eating and drinking.
6 AnswersDogs7 years agoWorried as well as confused.?
My period as I've stated in a prior question was four days late. I had spotting, and then two negative pregnancy tests. I have a weird pressure on the right side of my uterus. Every time the pressure heightens I feel a slight twinge of pain and then more blood. It's from red to dark red, it's not super heavy but there are these black clots in it, as well as these tiny little things that look like coffee grounds but are pinkish. I know the results were negative, I have a doctor appointment in two days, but I'm getting a little worried. I'm ,not in pain, which with any normal period I have I'd be in a lot of pain right now. So I'm very confused right now. Has anyone had this happen to them before??? What were the results and what was it being caused from? Oh also I was at the store today and out of no where this nausea spell hit me and I threw up in a rather crowded place... so needless to say I'm embarrassed and have no explanation for what's going on with me at the moment. My doctor is by appointment only. So I have to wait since I'm not exactly dying or in an excruciating amount of pain. So in the meantime anything helps. AGAIN I AM GOING TO THE DOCTOR. SO PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME TELLING ME TO GO. Thank you.
Women's Health7 years agoCan women still have a "period" if pregnant?
My period was 3 days late, and on the third day I had discharge with a little bit of blood. And then the next day it went to a brown color. And dried black. And then I started spotting. It's very light compared to what I usually have. And really late. My period is always on titime if not at least ONE day late. And usually I have extremely bad cramps. And now I'm getting none of that. Me and my husband had sex a few weeks ago. And I have pressure on one spot in my uterus. And whenever the pressure increases I bleed a little bit. It doesn't hurt it's just uncomfortable. I took two tests but both were negative. Does anyone else get really light periods out of nowhere? I've also been very tired, dizzy at times, nauseous, and more hungry than usual. I am going to schedule a doctor appointment. I would just like some opinions of what it might be. Or if anyone else has dealt with this. I'm frankly quite worried. Anything helps in the meantime till my appointment. Thanks.
2 AnswersWomen's Health7 years agoCan they do that?
I started working at this daycare and I'm really only supposed to be cleaning. I am not certified to teach these kids. I already only have 4 hours a day to work. And I don't even get to work every day. They only pay me $8 an hour. And they base my days of work on how many kids are there. This week I've only worked 2 days. If my job is to clean why in the world do I only get to work when there is a surplus of kids?? And WHY do I have to have a cpr and first aid training class if I just clean???? I'm a US citizen born and raised here, been in the same state my entire life. Graduated high school, want to go further in education and was looking for a good part time job and this came up. But they made it sound like I'd have guaranteed hours. Can they really cut my hours so much???
3 AnswersOther - Careers & Employment7 years agosnacks on a plane?
I've read that you can take food on the plane. It just has to be foods they approve. But I was talking to my friend the other day. And she said when she flew a few months ago they didn't allow it. And that you could only bring food if you are pregnant. Could it possibly be that the airline she chose didn't allow it? Does anyone have a personal experience with this? Planning a trip and want to know if I can bring snacks or not. I'm getting two different answers. Has anyone been able to bring snacks on the plane that wasn't pregnant? I only want experiences, not some comment belittling me for asking a simple question. You will be ignored.
5 AnswersAir Travel7 years agoESA Dog's and airplanes.?
My husband and I are planning on taking a trip to Amsterdam, and yes I know ESA animal's can fly with you for free with their papers and medical check up papers saying they're ok to fly with you. But my husbands ESA is a bit of a larger breed. She's a weimaraner. And we're wondering since she's too big to really sit with us, would they charge anything for her traveling in a doggy crate/carrier or would she still be free? Please no negativity. She's very well trained, and this is our first time taking our dog on a trip with us. We don't want to have someone watch her , especially if it's possible to take her with us. We just want to bring her with us, and enjoy the experience. My husband has really bad anxiety and it really helps to have our dog around.
3 AnswersDogs7 years agoQuestions about Amsterdam?
Planning a trip for Amsterdam some time between September and December. Do they use US currency in Amsterdam? What do prices usually range in for meals or things to do? Also what is the weather like around that time of year? Or even what is it like in the Summer? (So i know what type of clothes to pack.) And it's for my 2 year anniversary with the love of my life, and any romantic sights or couples things to do would be greatly appreciated. (: if you have the time, please give an answer if you could. We're trying to plan the perfect get away. 😊
3 AnswersNetherlands7 years agoPassports?
Planning a trip to Amsterdam for our 2 year anniversary, and I understand we need passports. But I'm curious to how much they cost and how to go about obtaining one in Colorado. And also what the difference between a passport book and a passport card is, and if we necessarily need both of them? Sorry if that seems like a silly question, but this would be our first time traveling out of the states. So please help if you have the time. (:
2 AnswersPacking & Preparation7 years agoeasy Pork chop sauce!!! help!! 😢?
Ok, so I'm baking pork chops tonight. And I need a quick sauce to make for it, or put in the oven with the pork chops. I have garlic powder, maple syrup, mustard, bbq sauce, salt, pepper, soy sauce and honey. No I am not planning to mix all of these together. Just would like to know what I can make with them. Thank you! 😊
5 AnswersCooking & Recipes7 years agoMy menstrual cup stem cut me?
So I usually have absolutely no problems what so ever with my cup. But today when I put it in I noticed a weird dull pain after a little while. And since my period is just about almost over I usually don't have any pain at all. Unlike my first few days when my cramps are quite painful. But this feeling was more of a sharp pain and nothing I did made it better. From sitting differently to adjusting my posture. So finally when I got a moment I went to the bathroom to see if it needed to be emptied. And right as my go to reach for it there's immediately fresh blood running on my hand and I haven't even touched my cup yet. And it pinched like something was caught when I tried to pull it out. And when I finally got it out there was barely any menstrual blood in there to speak of. (Since I am close to the last day of my cycle.) I just want to know why this happened.... these are supposed to be safe for use. I'm not using it until I find out exactly what caused it. Because since its been out I haven't felt any pain what so ever. Was it the stem or?
2 AnswersWomen's Health7 years agocan you wear a menstrual cup throughout your entire period?
I'm just curious. I've been thinking of purchasing one. They seem like a great alternative, so I'm curious if you can wear them throughout your entire period. Since I know some periods get considerably lighter on their final days.
