    ive been doing some reading about satan. and from what ive gathered he doesnt hold dominion over hell. but he is in hell suffering like everyone else there.

  • MacBook Pro wifi?

    I just recently purchased a mbp and I'm having issues connecting to the wifi here at work.

    Normally what happens on my iPhone and every Windows computer here is you connect, open a browser and you're redirected to a login page that asks for a password.

    But my mbp isn't redirecting me. It's only saying that I have no internet connection.

    Any tips?

  • Should I buy a new laptop or....?

    I mentioned to a computer engineer friend of mine that I was considering buying a new lap top because mine was showing signs of age. Current one is about 4 years old.

    He suggested that I just replace the the hard drive with an ssd hard drive and just keep using mine. He said it'll run like new with a new hard drive.

    Any advice. I'm not looking forward to spending 500$ on a new laptop.

    isnt this kind of intuitive because a 3 vector has three varibles, say x,y and z. so doesnt it have to lie in a plane because of that?

    im guessing i should convert Φ^ into terms of x^ and y^ which equals -sinΦx^ + cosΦy^.

    so far i have solved for z

    1/2 (ln(1) + 2nPI)

    but how do i know that isnt on or in the contour (the unit cricle)

    defined as

    g(z) = integral of (s^3 +2s)/(s-z)^3 ds

    Show why g(z) = 6PIiz when z is inside C and that g(z) = 0 otherwise.

    so far i have (z^3+2z)2PIi because of he cauchy representation.

    how to get that to equal 6PIiz is beyond me.

    find the value of z for

    e^z = 1 + i(sqrt3)

    we did an example in class where e^z = 2.

    and the solution was ln(2) + i(pi +2npi)

    this example doesnt tell me what to do if there is an imaginary number in the starting equation. thanks.
