"I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you FRIENDS, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you." Having Jesus as my Friend and being His friend is the joy of my life. I enjoy debating with atheists. • What are your thoughts on FOCA?

FOCA (Freedom of Choice Act) will wipe away the right of every parent to stop their daughters from having an abortion.

One friend, who I discussed this with, said the following-- and I agree with her:

"I am grieved beyond measure that such should ever be even “debated” by our elected officials. We have come far from our founding documents which stated that life was an inalienable right—from our Creator. Now we’ve decided at the highest level of the land that the STATE bestows the right to life. We’re right back where we were as colonies under a monarch. The one thing that made America different from all the other nations of the world was that we said these rights came from God. Well, we all know that when the STATE decides who dies and who lives, it can be one group one day—and one group the next."

  • Help, my laptop keeps dying on me!!!?

My HP zd7000 had a hard drive crash several months ago. After my son replaced the hard drive it worked fine for a while. However, everytime I started the computer it first would go to a black screen which said: Press <F1> to resume, <F10> to set up. After pushing F1, it would start and work fine for a while. After 2-3 hours, or less, the hard drive starts humming like a DVD drive and within a few minutes the computer freezes and eventually either has a blue screen come up or a black screen.

All I can do is turn the power button off and let it cool down for a few hours. Then it will start again, but I can't trust it to keep going.

I have cleaned out the heatsink, and always tilt the computer on the edge of a book, so that there will be enough circulation underneath, but the problem still persists.

I live in a developing country and knowledgeable people are hard to come by.

Anyone have a clue what I can do to solve the problem?

  • Catholics, how does one become "born again" in your religion?

What do you have to DO to be considered born again? Does infant baptism make you born again? Are there Catholics who are not born again?

  • Ex-Atheists...now followers of Jesus...how did God become real to you?

Did you have a special revelation from God? Did studying the Bible with an open mind do it? I'd like to hear your story.
