Would it be cost effeciant?

Ok so, when I run the water in the upstairs bathroom,shower or sink, after the water has been turned off,I can hear like a ticking in the downstairs bedroom wall. I just happend to be in the downstairs bedroom, I don't see any water,or evidence of a leak inside or outside,it's just an annoying sound. it stopps after a minute or 2. Could it be the pipes are a little clogged?

I just bought the house in July,the previous owners all had long black hair, I actually pulled what I though was a rat out of the other upstairs sink drain! it was solid hair!! VOMIT!

Any ideas?

I have been bar tending at small bars,and private events,receptions,Quinces etc. for years. At rented halls,country clubs etc.

I have recently been asked to have a bartenders certification, is this required by law? Never heard of it being a requirement.

I bar tended a reception last night @ The Scottish Rite Temple in Stockton Ca, I was told by the mgr of the hall, that we were not allowed to put out a tip jar that it was illegal?

I have bar tended many events,public & private and this is the first I ever heard of this, it was an open bar.

She later actually came by when my back was turned and took my tip jar,money and all!!! A waitress told me there she goes!! She ran to her office and locked our tip jar in her office,said we would get it back after the event? I told her she better give it back immediately or I was calling the police and charging her with theft!

The Bride and groom heard about it,called her on the carpet,and she gave it back. Complaints are being made about her for several other issues that day, leaving guests out in the heat, she actually kicked 2 preggo women out of the lobby,because she said it was not time for the event yet.

Lived there 10yrs,gave 30 day written notice.

Day of move out did a walk through with LL,at he end he asked how much of my deposit I thought I should get back? I said pretty much all of it (I was there 10 years)

He said he had to patch,prep & paint,that all my deposit would be taken up by this.

I told him I wanted a written accounting and receipts of why he was keeping my deposit within 21 days as required by law. It went down hill from there with him.

I also had a woman clean the day I moved out,sweep,mop,vacuum,clean bathrooms,wipe down counters etc. $100.00.

He said he'd give me $100.00 for that. I have not gotten it.

He failed to send the required documents within the 21 days, I moved out July 14th,I got incomplete documentation on the 6th of August (post marked Aug 3rd comming from SF Ca. to Stockton Ca) no way it would make it over night.

Anyway, I have continued trying to get my deposit from him,quoting LL Tennant law, he just keeps sending me recipts and demands for more repairs,that were never mentioned in the final walk through,or within the 21 days as required by Ca. Law.

OK so what now? Any help would be greatly appreciated

I am buying a home, I would like to have the windows etc. checked to be sure everything is as energy efficiant as possible. The thing is, I make more than the $31,000 for a single person,for any of the PG&E programs I have looked at. Can anyone reccomend anything?

I own a home, I would like to rent out a couple rooms.

My question is, Are there Management companies that will act as a "middle man" in renting out theses rooms in a PRIVATE home?

I do not want to deal with the hassle of rental agreements etc. I want someone to do all that for me,and enforce non-payment etc. with proper paperwork etc.

I'm thinking there must be agencys that do this,where the prospective renter pays the fees to the rental agency? IDK?
