Our military defense, taxes, voting system, business policy, media regulations, financial system and many other things affecting our very livelihood are all socialized. Why not the healthcare system? I'm upset that a bright young woman I know has to stay in her dead end job so that she can continue to receive healthcare benefits through her union. The fact that we need a union underscores the very problem with the systems we have now. A union shouldn't have to exist to give a hard working person healthcare benefits. It is despicable.

They raised concerned that private people would get bailed out of their bad investments, however, when it came to large firms making bad investments, it was no problem at all because they claimed the economy was on the line. However without the people you have no economy.

Since people are accusing Obama of knowing a guy many years ago who was a domestic terrorist, does this make the current President also unfit because he knew Osama bin Ladin early in his years as well?

I've seen the Tesla Roadster for maybe over 2 years now and when someone was telling me that there are no viable electric cars I pointed it out to them. Then they attempted to make fun of me by saying that it must go about 40 miles and has a top speed of 30 mph. I was dumbfounded at the fact that they made themselves look stupid but I had to simply show them the web site and the people who actually own them in order to save them the embarrassment. What is the big fear? Why are people afraid to embrace that we live in the future? Tesla is not the only electric car company either. You've got Phoenix and a bunch of others and the costs of these vehicles is comparable to any performance car of its kind. In some cases the electric carf simply outshines the gas-powered one which is equivalent on nothing except maybe the way it looks from the outside, but otherwise inferior in every way.

All socialists share the belief that capitalism unfairly concentrates power and wealth into a small section of society who control capital, and creates an unequal society. This means that what is happening is the opposite of Socialism. All socialists advocate the creation of an egalitarian society, in which wealth and power are distributed more evenly, although there is considerable disagreement among socialists over how, and to what extent this could be achieved.

My girlfriend, who is Asian American, saw the icon on Yahoo Answers and asked me this. Is the Yahoo answers staff lead person also Asian or is that simply an aesthetic choice based on some stereotype about Asians being smart? If it is I would like to report Yahoo answers for posting icons that encourage stereotypes.

I mean, I have legitimate questions but sometimes if a person doesn't want to read that question they simply report it and it is gone. Yahoo doesn't investigate like they claim but they do knock down your influence whether they read it or not.

The singer also says "I will have that power!". It is mostly instrumental.

For instance, I can't stand Weezer but I love "Say It Ain't so".

It's almost as if Sarah Palin's job is to distract voters who share some of her views that differe from McCain's although he is the one who will be President and any differences they have, his will be policy if they were to win.

Obama supported something that would help prevent young children from being victims of pedophiles. Why would McCain lie about something so serious?
