  • Immigrant VISA help!?

My wife is a foreign national (Taiwan) and I am an US citizen. We were married in the US when she was on a tourist VISA. We currently live in Taiwan, but I plan to move back to the US quite soon.

I have already filed a I-130 form to USCIS, and the petition has been approved and sent to NVC. However, I made this mistake of not checking how long it takes to get a green card. It turns out to be quite long, almost taking up a year. I do not want to be separated from my wife when I leave back for the US. Is it too late to fill out the K-3 VISA? It seems like once the I-130 is approved, then you are stuck with waiting for the NVC to give you other forms to fill out and you are basically forced to wait in Taiwan.

Has anyone just gotten into the US just with a tourist VISA and then returned before the VISA expires, just so they can be with their spouse? I know that the border guard determines who can enter or not, but has anyone experienced being admitted in this situation?

I can take all the help I can get. Thanks in advance!

  • Will there be issues marrying someone who is a religious christian, and you are not at all?

I am in love with this great girl. We've talked about our future together and seem to be on the path to marriage. The only thing that we have differences in is religion. She's a religious Christian. The type that goes to church on Sundays and has a Christian book club once a week during the weekdays. I'm the opposite. I don't believe in religion and don't really want to have anything to do with it.

I don't have a problem with her going to church or wanting to teach our kids Christianity as long as she doesn't try to convert me or interfere with my lifestyle. She said when we get married, we would like to organize a Christian book club of her own and have it at our house. It's for two hours. I'm not sure if anyone has experience this already, but I might be able to handle this in the beginning since it's just a social gathering. But I'm not sure if I will be able handle it further down the long road of marriage.

Anyone who has experience in this please let me know how you dealt with a situation like this. I'm fairly tolerant person, but my biggest fear is that I will change over time and this may put a strain in our marriage. I understand it's only an issue if you make it one, but at the same time, there is only so much on can take before one feels it's too much. Any thoughts?

  • Can a woman ever be convinced by a guy to enter into a romantic relationship?

Ladies, I know that you typically need to be wooed and feel attraction for a guy. However, has there ever been a time where a guy combined smooth talk with logic to convince you that you should give going out with him a try?

  • Is she good to go out or is she putting me in friend zone?

I'm working overseas at my uncle's office. There is this girl at work that I have been teaching English to after work once a week. I have grown to like her a lot and would like to ask her out. We've hung out a few times outside work, but it's always with another co-worker. She always does the inviting, but every time she'll say p.s. this co-worker is also coming along.

I feel like sometimes I get the vibe she likes me, but then she'll throw out words like "as a friend". Then other times she would joke that I should marry her, etc. She laughs at my stupid jokes. Loves talking to me. But the mixed messages are really confusing. I have mentioned to others before that I liked her. if the gossip rumors have passed on to her, she probably would avoid me if she knew what I said. If this wasn't a co-worker, I would've pulled the trigger and asked her out long time ago. The fact that this is a co-worker, I need to be more certain, or else there will be some form of awkwardness.

What do you think? I feel like I'm wasting my time being in a friend zone? Any way to get out of it?

My computer was infected by a virus a while ago. I took it to office depot to get it repaired. Afterwards, whenever I try to get on skype, the other person can barely hear what I say. I checked all the settings and they seem fine, but the sound is just no delivering. I even plug in a separate mic set and still is low sounding. Can someone tell me how I can fix this?
