  • Scholarships/funding to study at an American College?

I m planning on going to university but realistically I would really like to complete my degree at an American University (I m from the UK). My biggest issue with this is funding, since although my parents can afford a UK university, I don t think an American one is an option. Does anyone know of any scholarships/schemes/anything which could be of use? Thanks :)

  • Boyfriend talking to friend...am I being silly?

Me and my boyfriend have been together for almost 2 years, and in that time he's obviously met most of my friends. He has a common interest with one of them, so they talked about it sometimes (which I was fine with), but now they just seem to talk (over text) every few days about other things as well. Sometimes she'll tell other people about things and I'll hear through them instead of from him. I'm not particularly jealous, because I know he wouldn't do anything and he definitely texts me much more than her, but it just makes me feel uncomfortable and every time I mention it he says he just likes chatting to her, but refuses to show me the messages? I really do trust him and I know that he wouldn't do anything, I just don't like it. Is this silly or normal? And what do I do?

  • Am I counted as an immigrant?

This is purely out of interest. I have lived in the UK since I was 1 and am a British Citizen and both my parents are British and were born here, but I was born outside of the EU and have a foreign birth certificate (and an English translation). Since I technically moved here, does that make me an immigrant? Or am I not because I am a citizen?

  • Can I return or exchange an unworn thong at Ann Summers?

I bought a thong from Ann Summers today, got home and realised it had been placed on a hanger for a different size, and it was actually much too big. Am I able to exchange it for the correct size does anyone know? It is unworn will all tags and the hygiene plastic sticky bit.

    Thanks!

  • Why can I not book a driving test for my nearest centre? Are the waiting times not accurate?

I've passed my theory, and am trying to book a practical test, but I can't seem to find any availability for my nearest centre at all - yet on the gov website it says there's only a 6 week waiting time (I previously suspected this wasn't the case), am I meant to try first thing on a Monday morning? Or ring up?

  • Low cost new driver cars with cheap insurance?

I haven't yet taken my driving test but as soon as I pass I'm going to get a car. However, I'm finding it difficult to find any with insurance below £2000, since I'm 17. I'd be willing to have a black box but is this a really bad idea? Which cars have the lowest insurance for new drivers? and do you have any tips for lowering insurance costs?

  • Amazon says 'lost in transit' but my delivery arrived?

I ordered something from amazon using my amazon prime, the next day it arrived in the evening but when I looked on the tracking page it says 'lost in transit, contact Amazon', do I just leave it? Or should I contact them and explain that it arrived fine?

  • I'm worried I may be getting an eating disorder :/ Help?

I've never been happy with the way I looked, and the past few months I've tried a variety of diets and on/off exercising. I'm currently 5"6 and weigh 109lb with a BMI of about 17.8. I know this is underweight technically, but I look in the mirror and see a fat stomach and chubby legs. I'm pretty sure my scale underweighs as well so I'm not sure how accurate that is... I'm currently restricting my calories to 1200 a day but I don't seem to losing anything :/ I think about food and weight all the time and am obsessed with looking at recovery instagrams and have even started to go more on the pro ana ones :/ I don't feel like I'm extreme or thin enough to actually have an eating disorder, I just worry that I'm on that track because I have a perfectionist controlling personality and am already in therapy to try and sort out anxiety based problems. Any help or suggestions??

  • Is it weird that I literally never stop thinking about my boyfriend?

I don't know why, but I actually can't stop thinking about my boyfriend, is this really weird?

We've been together for six months and I see him a couple of times a week (plus random half an hours and stuff) and we talk every day (messaging, I talk to him on the phone for hours a few times a week) and I love him, but I am always thinking about him. I don't act weird and obsessive with him (he's much needier than me!) but I miss him like 5 minutes after I've see him, and even if I'm with him but he's talking to someone else I still miss him :/ is all of this really odd?

  • Easiest way to have sex?

Basically me and my boyfriend have had sex a few times, but it never really works properly and it takes us ages to like fit it in and then sometimes it falls out and stuff, so does anybody have any tips or stuff like that? • Is this an ok valentines day gift?

Basically I've been going out with my boyfriend for just over two months (well we were together for about a month and a half before that but not officially) and is this an ok valentines day present? (we're pretty close and stuff):

    Chocolate hearts

A pillow thing with his favourite NFL team logo on (its an ongoing joke thingy that he never gets out of bed and he's obsessed with this team) - I'm gonna sew the logo on

A letter/note with nice stuff about him

    Is that alright or weird???

  • Does fudge melt in the oven?

This is probably a really stupid question...but if I add little fudge pieces to cooking (like brownies or cake) will the fudge melt or will it stay in chunks or burn or something?

So if I added a load of fudge to my normal brownie recipe would it make them go more fudgey?

    Thanks!
