  • Can netbooks run MS-PowerPoint?

I travel and teach classes, so a lightweight, inexpensive laptop would be great. I don't need it to do much beside run PowerPoint and stay on (plugged in, not battery) for 9 hours without frying. Will most netbooks do this? Can you suggest specific models, esp. HP, that will work?

  • How do hotels get sheets and towels so perfectly white?

I've tried bleach, oxyclean, and even bluing, and I can't get my linens that white. Anyone out there who works in the hotel or laundry business and knows the secret?

  • Msg says missing Flash but it is installed. ??

When I try to run various video applications (e.g., setting Yahoo avatar, running YouTube), I get a message indicating that Flash is not installed. I have clicked the button to install, installed, uninstalled and installed again several times. Flash Active X shows up in my control panel. A different video application said that either I didn't have Flash or JavaScript, so I downloaded Java. It also shows up in Control Panel. I have restarted my computer. Same result. Any ideas? A security block? This is (godhelpus) Vista OS. Thx.

  • Getting Flash ActiveX to work?

When I try to run a video or update my Yahoo avatar, I get the message "...requires the latest version of Macromedia Flash Player." I have downloaded the Flash player numerous times, checked in Control Panel to see that it is there, restarted my computer... still get the message. I suspect some sort of security check is blocking it.

This is a Vista OS. I didn't used to have problems on this computer, and don't have a clue what has changed. Any suggestions?

  • Recognize this business strategy model? customer intimacy...operational efficiency... product superiority

I'm doing research for a class, and while I remember the basic idea behind this model -- that a company needs to focus on one strategy and can't be great at all three, I can't remember the reference. Help appreciated.
