I like to cook. I like to drink Vodka on occasion. I am a Swedish, English, German American. This means I am pasty white. Someday I will travel to Stockholm and visit family. Life is good and the only complaint I have is the negative people that have nothing good to say. Relax and smile once in awhile.

  • Huge change needed in Professional Sports?

Should Baseball, Basketball and Football do what the NHL did a few years back? I know Hockey did it out of necessity, but the payrolls for teams are really getting out of hand. I have actually stopped watching the NBA, because my local team has priced me out of attending a game. Sure I can get nose bleeds, but 5 to 8 years ago I could have gotten nice seats for the same price. Professional sports are pricing fans out of the game. I think its due to the explosion in athletes salaries.

  • Should Madoff get the death penelty?

What he did is much worse than killing 1 person. He ruined lives of thousands of people and people are killing themselves over what he did.

I think he should and I also thing he should be sitting in a jail cell (Right Now).

  • Troy Polamalu says rule changes make the NFL like "two-hand touch" football?

    Do you agree?

I do. I don't even like Polamalu and I agree with him. Defensive Back and Safties are barely allowed to touch a reciever anymore.......

Now the Players Union and his agent are claiming all the MLB teams conspired to keep him out of the game.

  • Can you name some of the dark beers served in London?

I was in London for about a month about 5 years ago and drank some of the best beer I have ever had. It was a darker beer. I can't recall if it was an amber or dark like Guinness or even what it was called. It was pretty high in alcahol content, which made for a GREAT time. I know I am wrong but I think it had "King" somewhere in the name. I live in California and want to see if I can find this beer somewhere.

  • Bad hamstrings?

I have bad hamstrings. Is there any way to correct this. I have pulled both of them 5 or more times. A couple of times really bad. I have larger than average legs and to work out and do leg exercises, but I still fear pulling them. I am a bit overweight. I know they feel better when I lose weight. For instance I have recently lost 15 lbs and feel comfortable running faster than I have previously. I do exercise them, but not as often as I should. I just quit whatever I am doing if I feel a bit of tightness in them. I do play football and baseball. I guess my question is: Will my hamstrings ever feel like I have no fear of pulling them. Once in awhile I get to that point and then I decide to run full speed and I pull it again.

  • When running on a treadmill?

Ok, I am trying to lose weight and seriously get back into running. What is the difference for heart rate on a treamill fatburn and cardio. Will I lose fat faster if I slow it down to keep my heart rate in the fat burn area? I tend to run faster and kep my heart rate at the top of the cardio section.

  • Do people who constantly correct your spelling and grammar drive you nuts?

I swear if you spell something wrong some of these people go nuts. But apparently they know what you are asking, because they answer the question too.

  • WWII USS Nevada?

My grandfather was on the USS Nevada in Pear Harbor. I recently went to Pearl Harbor and did the tour and was very dissapointed. It was basically a USS Arizona Memorial. It was aweful what happened, but what about the other soldiers that were there? My grandfather lost his leg there. I have his discharge papers, but am unable to locate who has his Medals. Is there any way to find out exactly what he did on the ship and what medals he had recieved? He was an amazing person and I want to put together something to honor him.

  • Gas mileage?

I had my small pickup's engine completely cleaned, new filters, radiator flush, cleaned fuel injectors, etc. For a few weeks I did my normal routine of driving to work and was getting great mileage. Then I drove it on a 4 day trip of about 700 miles and have noticed a bit of difference in my mileage after I got home. I get about 280 miles on a full tank now. Before the trip I got about 315 miles to a full tank. What could cause this change? tire pressure (I have not checked my tires since I returned)?

  • How to choose?

So, I have recently met 2 women. Both of these women are intelligent and ambitious, which is important to me. One I have a ton in common with, the other I felt the spark with. You know, when you open the door and the first time you see this person without a word, you just CLICK. Our conversation went on like we had known eachother for years. It is very rare for me to have this feeling. I think it has happened 2 other times in my life (I screwed up both of those, Immaturity was a major factor). So, the one I have a ton in common with I would like to get to know better. She is still in college and has been very busy. She has only a little time for me. I understand, but I want to spend time to get to know her. I met both of these women about 3 weeks ago. I am usually aggressive, but I am laying back and letting things happen.

My problem is, I cannot conciously date 2 women at the same time. I feel guilty if I kiss the other. It seems I always choose the wrong one.

  • Is my dog sick?

She is a Boxer. She throws up almost every day for the past week and a half at least once a day and sometimes twice. Will too many of those milkbone dog biscuits do it? It is random. Sometimes its after she eats, but sometimes it is in the early morning right when she wakes up.

  • 1964 1/2 Mustang Convertible value?

I have an early 1964 1/2. I am not sure of the code, but I know it was early because it has the 260 V8 which was only an option in the early production of 64. It has A/C. I have the upholstry and am going to re do it soon. The top is fairly new. The body is straight and in good condition. Bondo on both rear quarter panels which I have considered getting fixed. The paint is Poppy Red and looks great when the car is cleaned up. I keep it in my garage and drive it maybe once or twice a week to the grocery store about 10 miles round trip. Needs new shocks and suspension work. Dash is intact. It was a show car about 17 years ago, but has definetly seen better days.

How many convertibles where made for the 1964 1/2 model?

Some idiot the other day offered me $3000 and told me I would never get more than that. I told him there was no way I would sell him the car for under $10,000.
