  • Steering column question ?

Should I repair the steering column, and shift linkage (2-speed powerglide), or replace it with a custom new column.

The turn signal switch, horn switch are bad, and now steering shaft noise, when turning, stiff shift and high effort to place in and out of Park.

What should I expect an estimate to rerair / rebuild a steering column.

  • Help with my 1963 Chevy II powerglide transmission?

The shift lever got stuck in park and would not come out, then it finally popped out and shifts in all gears but will not go back into park. Is this something that can be fixed by removing the pan, or does it require removing the tail shaft housing, of transmission completely?

Should US congress mandate vehicles sold in our country be E85 compliant?

By mandating all vehicles be able to use either gasoline, or ethanol, methanol, and giving the consumer the choice to buy more than one fuel, would that in itself start to control the price by introducing some competition in the fuel market?
