The scenario is as follows:

The internet is working fine, all devices and computers in my house are connected and working as usual.

Then as soon as my Dad's laptop connects to the internet, it stops working for everyone else and only works for him. When he eventually disconnects, we have to turn the internet router off and on again and then everything works fine for us all.

It is strange because it is so instant. As soon as he connects, the internet immediately cuts out and stops working for all other devices in the house (be that smartphones, iPads, computers - mac/PC, other laptops).

It is a Sony Vaio, Windows 8 (not 8.1 because, he says he hasn't updated it because last time he did so it screwed up the machine). We did wonder if the laptop may have been confused because he has been using the internet in another country for a long time; now coming back to England maybe something has gone wrong?

We really don't know why it does this. If you have any ideas of reasons that this might happen, please let me know. Even if you can only think of something that I can then go to research further.

I saw it on a very dark night in Sidmouth on 10/10/10. It was probably in an easterly direction, maybe north-east. It was around half-past eight when I saw it.

But an i-phone is one of the leading technology from Microsoft's rival company, Apple.

I know how PEGI rate games (with icons depicting violence, nudity, swearing etc) but I've noticed that on some games (for example Oblivion) it says 'contains moderate violence' and there are no icons, just these words.

Is this another company or is this PEGI again?

If there is what is it?

Or is there a maximum or minimum?

Or doesn't it matter?
