  • Bleeding from rear end (Female)?

For the past week I have been having bright red blood coming from my Butt on and off. I'll go to the bathroom once and there's lots of blood, then I go again and there's just little dried up spots that come out on the tp. I am not having any pain, no blood in my stool (poop), I am suppose to be having my period at this time, but it hasn't come. I have been having really bad headaches and dizzy spells, but they came way before the blood did. There is pressure in my forehead really bad, I wobble instead of walk and I already have over $3000 in hospital bills now from emergency surgery a few years back. I do not have any health insurance and I am currently unemployed. I have a job interview one week from today too. I just don't know what to do, has anyone had this before?

  • Can my Betta live with Sharks?

I have two 10 gallon tanks at my house. In one tank I have a divider with a male Betta on either side of the divider, each having 5 gallons of water to itself. In my other tank I have two silver sharks with small fins and 4 tiger barbs. Right now my tiger barbs seem to be nipping at the sharks and taking pieces of their fins off. My sharks do not bother any of the barbs nor do they bother each other. Both of my male Betta's seem to get along with one another as well. They will both lie at the bottom of their sides and look at each other, or they will chase each other up and down either side of the divider, not attacking as they're never flaring their gills. One Betta has a very long flowing tail which he likes to chase around in circles like a dog lol. The other Betta has short fins and tail, he also tends to float on the water more than actually swimming unless it's feeding time. I would like to rescue my sharks by taking the tigers out of the tank and swapping them with one of my betta fish. I just want to know if my Betta would get along with the sharks or not. None of them appear to be aggressive, the sharks tend to either swim around in a circle at the bottom of the tank or glide around the sides of the tank. It just seams like my sharks are always running away from the barbs and being nipped at by them. The sharks never attack or get aggressive with the barbs or each other. They had also gotten along well with my Algae eater that I used to have in there, unfortunately he died after the tiger barbs ate his fins and made it so that he couldn't swim :(

  • Can 3 female betta fish live with guppies?

I am thinking about getting a new aquarium and some new fish. I'm petrified of fish accept for Betta, guppies and algae eaters. I have a 10 gallon tank already that has a divider in the middle of it which houses my two male betta. Don't worry there is one betta on each side of the tank so they are not actually together. They did try to attack each other a few times through the divider at first, but now they're used to each other and actually just watch one another through the divider, but done flare their gills angrily anymore now that they know they can't hurt each other.

Anyways, I heard that female betta's can live together if you have 3 or more in one aquarium, so I definitely want to get a few female betta's, but I also like guppies and would love to have some of them too. I am going to be getting another 10 gallon aquarium for them. If the guppies are really small when I get them, I do have a 5 gal to keep them in until they are a little bigger. Would it be okay to keep the guppies with the female betta's or should I buy another divider to separate the betta's from the guppies? In which case I would only get two female betta's and maybe 2 or 3 guppies depending on their size and breed.

  • Is my algae eater dying?

I have never had an algae eater before, actually i'm new to having fish. Right now I have two male betta's, separated of course. One is in the tank with the algae eater and he's doing just fine unlike the algae eater. My other betta is really tiny and in a normal fish bowl. Anyways, I know hardly anything about fish (literally) so that's why i'm asking. I don't have a pet store around my area, I got all my fish at walmart. My algae eater seamed fine yesterday, moving around the tank and moving up and down the sides like it should. I gave it some of those wafers that they sell in the store, that's all walmart carried and it hasn't eaten. Today it didn't really move much from the corner of the tank where it was which I heard most algae eaters are nocternal, so I wasn't worried, but now that's it dark outside, it started moving around the bottom of the tank with my Betta listening carefully lol. But then the algae eater starting lying on it's side against the side of the tank, so I wasn't worried, but right now it's lying behind a moon stone on it's back. Is it dying? Is there anything I can do to save it?

PS, I have no PH test strips, I used a water purifier in the tank to purify the water. I do not have a pump, the guy at Walmart told me that the algae eater should live just fine without a pump or filter in the tank. Not sure if that's true or not.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Is my Betta getting along with my Algae Eater?

I just got an algae eater and a bigger aquarium (10 gal) for my Betta because it's 1 gallon tank was starting to look a little snug for him. I introduced the algae eater first to the new tank and allowed it an hour before adding the Betta. All day yesterday, my Betta didn't even notice the algae eater in it's tank. Today he keeps going to the Algae eater and just staring at it. I think the algae eater is making noise with the gravel, pebbles and other decorations in the tank, so my Betta is more after the sounds than the fish. My betta did go over and rub the algae eater, just to explore it I think. He's not showing his gills like he does everytime he see's the other Betta in the tank next to him, he just kind of hovers over the algae eater.

Also my algae eater is on his side or back a lot, is that normal?

  • Is something seriously wrong?

For the past few weeks i've been having really bad dizzy spells which have caused me to fall down, have slight amnesia for a few seconds before everything comes flooding back. These spells have stopped me from concentrating on my work, even my co-workers have started to notice the way I act. Now i'm starting to have sharp pain in the forehead and constant ringing in my ears that won't go away unless I blast loud music through my headphones. I'd go to the doctors if I could, but I don't have health insurance and I already have over $1000 in health bills from two years ago when I had emergency surgery. I really don't want to ad to my doctor bills. I haven't been to a doctor in over a year and I really hate to go now. Has anyone else ever had anything like this before?

  • Dog is acting funny and has tummy pain, what can I do?

My dog is 4 years old, a female pitbull, bluenose, rednose mix. This morning she's started acting a little funny. I gave her a light push to move her away from my open stove this morning and she whined, then I went to rub her belly the way I always do when she was lying on her back later on and whined when I touched her belly, my son went to pull her on to his lap and she whined again when he touched her belly. She's been lying down a lot more than usual today and sometimes when she gets up, she starts to whine as well. She laid down a little too hard not long ago and whined too. I just moved to a knew state and i've looked online and can't believe that there are no veterinary clinics anywhere's accept one that's over 800 miles away. I'll take her there if I really have to, but would rather see what you guys can suggest instead and see if anyone's had a similar problem.

I've just noticed too that she stretches out more when she walks as well, being very careful not to squish or kick her tummy by accident. She's also laying almost on top of my heater vent too.

P.S. She's not pregnant! She's neutered, up to date on all shots and besides a heart murmur when she was a puppy but has now out grown, she's always been in perfect health until now.

  • Do they put you to sleep when you get a cyst removed surgically?

Two years ago I had a sebaceous cyst that had been cut open and drained. But it just keeps coming back, sometimes it pops on it's own, other times I have to keep soaking it in water before it actually pops open and drains. I have extremely bad nerves and I hate to admit it, but I puked when I had it drained before. I'd like to have it removed completely so that it won't ever come back again, but I know my nerves won't hold up again if i'm awake for it, not to mention the fact that hospitals give me the creeps. My cyst is also in a very difficult spot to get to as well.

Should I even have surgery in the first place? I mean i'm not in pain with it, just a little uncomfortable.

I'm just getting tired of having it there and exploding every two or three months. I haven't gone to the doctors for anything in over a year, should I make an appointment and talk to a doctor first?

Most importantly, do they put you to sleep at all to have a cyst removed? Especially in a difficult location?

    Any help is greatly appreciated

  • Can a dog be temporarily put to sleep to have their toenails done?

I know in most cases it's not necessary to have your dog put to sleep in order to have their toenails clipped, but in my case it is. I have a 3 year old Pitbull that has not had her toenails clipped in a long time. I used to clip them myself when she was a puppy, but then she became protective of her paws and won't let anyone near them. The last time I took her to the vet, they gave her two sedatives, a muzzle and four vet techs, the vet and myself trying to hold her down and we still could not get her nails done. I've never actually heard of a dog being put to sleep in order to do this, so i'm wondering if it's a possibility, they are quite long and starting to curve under, so I want to get them done ASAP before they get any worse. I've heard of walking her on assphalt or side walk to trim them down, but I have neither where I live. I'm surrounded by dirt roads, grass and hay fields. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. I've also contacted my local animal shelter, but have not heard back. I'd hate to lose a great dog over something so stupid as over grown toe nails. Any help or advise is appreciated.

P.S. She also bites when you even touch her paws. I have no clue why, as a puppy I held them all the time to get her used to them and she had four nail trimmings as a pup, but something changed in her and now she's sensitive about them although I do hear it's a common thing in their breed.

  • Is there someone out there for me?

I've never had a real boyfriend, (I'm still a virgin) my friends say i'm pretty and have good looks, my brother says if I wasn't his sister he'd totally be hitting on me. No one besides the people who have known me since forever seam to find me attractive. So i'm about 195 pounds, very muscular, big boned. My mother was 450 pounds when she had me and my father has never weighed more than 150. I'm right in between, I think my best quality is my eyes, they're big, sparkly and blue. My butt sticks out a little in the back and my belly hangs over my pants a few centimeters. I've always dreamed of finding the right guy, settling down, getting married and having kids. Most of all i've wanted to lose my virginity, but i've wanted to lose it to the person I was planning to spend the rest of my life with. I'm 21 years old, extremely mature for my age, I already act like a wife, I have since I was 13. I'm out going and like to have fun, but it seams that only girls ever seam to look at me, but i'm not a lesbian or even interested in girls. Do you think there's a man out there for me?

  • Why do cats do this ...?

I have a 5 year old Persian/ Siamese mix. When I got her I was given some food with her that she was used to. Well the food made her sick, so I quickly changed it, that was over 2 months ago. She seamed with the new food (9 Lives) and now she's eating her own poop and puking it up with the food. Is she not eating enough to fill her stomach? Should I risk changing the food again? My vet said she might not be pooping at all and it's coming up through her stomach instead, but i've never heard of this before. Has anyone else experienced this? Do you know what I can do to help her out? My vet didn't suggest anything useful at all.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Help,

I have a 4 year old horse that was abused at one time and will not allow me to touch her hooves without being bit or kicked. No farrier is willing to take the risk without her being tranquilized. I do not like tranquilizers and I refuse to use them. Is there another way?
