Not a school Counselor, but Psychologist.

I'm strongly considering pursuing a career as a School Psychologist. I am close to graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, but am not 100% sure of where to go from there.

If you could give me any information about being a school psychologist that you think that I would find helpful, I would greatly appreciate it.

If you ARE a school psychologist, if you wouldn't mind giving an example of a 'typical' day (though I know that people tend to say that there are no typical days in this profession), I would be truly thankful.

I guess that for the most part, I am just a little uncertain of exactly what a school psychologist does. I know the gist of it, but since I am not allowed to job shadow around here, I feel a little uneasy about attempting to attend graduate school to pursue a career that I don't really know what all is entailed for.

How much would that be in $?

I'll try to save a Powerpoint, for instance, and it'll pop up and say:

"You don't have permission to save in this location. Contact the administrator to obtain permission"

And asks if I would like to save to the My Documents folder instead. But even when I try to, it won't let me.

And I've also been having trouble with my Microsoft Word not always working. I'll try to open a link from my school's site, and it'll say "Word could not create the work file. Check the temp enviornment variable." But I've never had any problems before. I'll click Okay, and sometimes it'll open it anyway, other times it won't. And sometimes my Word program won't let me save documents. I'll try to save in every way possible, and it won't let me. It won't even pull up the box. But when I try to exit it without it being saved, it asks if I want to, and it still won't let me.

I'm a college student who really needs my Powerpoint and Word programs to work. It's really becoming a problem. So if you have any idea what I need to do to fix this, I would love to know!

Does anyone know (preferably from experience, but it's okay if not) How exactly this piercing is done?

Also, how long does it take to heal? And is there a great probability of rejection?

I have my nose pierced, and wear a ring (which could be relevant to this situation or might not. Depends how you look at it.)

ANYWAY.

I basically already know about what facial piercings there are out there. But I'm considering getting a new facial piercing, but am looking for inspiration. Obviously I'm not going to just get up and go get it. I'm one of those people who think a lot about this type of thing before I do it. I'm just hoping you guys can give me some inspiration as to some 'unique' facial piercings, or like I said, not so unique ones that would go well alongside a nose ring.

I've kind of been considering the horizontal eyebrow piercing that is below the eyebrow, but I have yet to find enough pictures to decide whether it would look good on me or not (so if you can find any pics like that without linking me to a generall search engine site, I would be very greatful).

Anyway, if you guys have any ideas, PLEASE share.

I don't have my lip pierced, but I'm considering it. I wear a nose ring, so I would want the lip stud.

The problem, though, is that almost everyone I see that has a lip piercing and wears a stud rather than a ring.. It sticks out of their face in a way that I wouldn't want to happen to me. Is it because the stud is too long, or is that just the way it goes?

If I got a tattoo that was a solid black shape outlining words for a tattoo? Like there is a word, but the word wouldn't actually be tattooed, just outlined, so the word would be just my plain skin. I don't know if that really makes sense.. But would that look okay? And if not, is there anything I could to make it look better?

I've always had it, so I'm sure it's nothing, but it has always been strange to me. It's on the side of the front of my neck, just above the collar bone. Those tendon-y (medical and physiology things are not my best) parts, 2 of them on the front sides. I hope you know what I mean. Anyway, one of them is hard.. Like a bone. Like the whole thing is like this, while the other is by no means like this.

I wouldn't say I'm worried. Just, like I said, curious as to why each side would be so very different.

I know they're obviously more expensive, and it depends on the size and artist and all that. I would just like a general guess. For example, a 3x3 red rose vs. a black one, what would the difference be?

I can just go to my dashboard and not do anything, and it'll freeze my computer.

It's a little black skirt that we've had for a couple of years now, miraculously.I call it my little mutant, because it somehow lost all of its color about a year ago, and has survived changing aquariums and water with absolutely no upkeep (long story..). My Mom says she had a friend whose fish had the same problem, and its eye popped. I don't want that to happen! I want to help my little fishie if I possibly can.
