Is the year 2060 going to be the next 2012?
Sir Isaac Newton, a gentleman with a passion for searching for hidden meaning in scripture, had supposedly cited the year 2060 as around the time of the Apocalypse. True, he allegedly only picked the date to get the Harold Campings of his generation to stop their constant prattling.... but that's not the point.
The question is this:
Do you think that doomsayers will try to cash in on Newton's "predictions" like they have with the Mayan calendar or the 2000 Y2K scare?

The only answers I've managed to get so far seem to only apply to those under 18 years of age... -_-

I heard once that it means death or something like that but I'm not certain.
2 AnswersComics & Animation1 decade agoSpiritually speaking what color were the dinosaurs?
Since creationists claim that dinosaurs and man coexisted at the same time 6000 years ago, contrary to the claims of 'evolutionists' then clearly they should be able to answer such questions as to what color the dinosaurs were and whether or not Tyrannosaurus was a scavenger or carnivore.
Am I right?

3 AnswersLanguages1 decade agoWhere can I find information on Gnosticism outside of Wikipedia?
I'm doing research on Gnosticism, mostly to satisfy my sense of curiosity and I'm looking for sites that can provide information on its beliefs and history. Does anyone know any good websites or books on the subject?
And please don't recommend Wikipedia. I've already been there. -_-
Thanks! ^_^
