me and this girls really want to be in a relationship but it is a little akward because we have known eachother since 9 and were 18, any advice to break that akward feeling

I have known this girl since i was about 10 years old and recently now that were both older, we have been spending alot of time together and constantly texting. so i finally came out and told her that i really like her and care for her alot. she said she really likes me too, but the problem is we're trying to get over the whole friendship thing because we had a really strong friendship, but we both think that it would be very helpfull for both of us.

Me my homie and his girl all had some drinks at his house my homie drank to much and ended up passing out. well after a little talking his girl started getting all over me and the next day she told him. he isn't mad but i feel pretty bad even though he did the same thing to my best friend with his girl a year ago.

I feel as if my whole life has been a waste and now that i want to change it seems as if there is no light at the end of the tunnel. i currently enrolled in college but, my test scores were really low even though i really tried! i will give that i have changed my life drastically in the last year but how do i get back all the education and real life experience i missed while in jail?
