We are barely on speaking terms because of some things he did to my family. I called once and he said he would get to it when he got around to it. Last year I didn't get a W-2 until April. I need the refund for a root canal. this isn't some fly by night business either, he runs a computer shop that has been in business since 1993. He also deleted all my paystubs off of paycheckrecords dot com, so I don't even have my tax information.

I am putting together an infographic about the communications industry, and I was wondering if I should use registry marks or trademark symbols when referring to the companies:

Verizon

Time Warner

Comcast

T-mobile

etc...

I tried taking the road south out of Winterhold, but it is taking me southeast, away from Saarthal. Is there another way out of Winterhold that heads southwest?

if you have 1000 dollars, and that is 30% less than you had before, how much did you have?

Do you just take 30% or 300.00 and add it for a total of 1300.00?

If you have 1000 dollars, and that is 30% more than you had before, how much did you have?

Do you take 30% and subtract it for a total of 700.00?

why aren't those numbers correct?

x^3 + x^2 - x - 1

With three terms, I can usually just look at it and see the pattern. I'm not even sure how to group these to make it easier. To make matters worse, I have the correct answer and still cant see how they got it. Please let me know the steps to take to solve problems like these. Thanks.

I have a T-Mobile account, and my Motorola Defy was stolen. Unfortunately the "premium handset protection" warranty they sold me was a waste, it wasn't covered. I don't really have the cash to purchase a new phone at 300-400 bucks.

Can I buy a used phone(one that was previously used on T-Mobile, or one of the same model as a T-Mobile phone) and get my account switched over to it? Every time I call T-Mobile, they try to hard sell me on another Android(at the full retail price), which I just can't afford right now.

Ok, so I'm a Linux/Windows guy, but my wife loves her Mac. We're both retired, so we are on an extremely fixed income. As far as my machines go, I can throw in a new motherboard, processor, memory, and a decent video card for 400 bucks, and have a whole new computer. I can't do that with a Mac.

The Mac she has is a 1.25GHz PowerPC G4. I got it on ebay a couple of years ago for around 300 dollars. She absolutely loved it, and still does, but it is very slow now. I could format and reinstall Tiger, but I would much rather bump her up to something a little faster.

My question is, what's the next step? I certainly can't afford a shiny new Mac, that's not going to happen. I can't find a good website that discusses different levels of mac performance. Should I stay with a G4, or move to the Intel models?

She doesn't mind at all being a few years behind the curve. All she does is web surf, send email, and watch you tube videos. I just want her to be able to do these things without waiting 5 minutes while watching the spinning beach ball. I just want to jump to the next step, and make my wife very happy(And when my wife is happy, so am I).

I just discovered how nice it is to answer questions for people in my professional category (Computers and Internet). Sometimes someone asks a great question that I don't have an answer to(happens more than I would like to admit). I would like to track these questions so that I can go back to them and see how my colleagues in the category answered the question.

I don't really want to have to bookmark a bunch of questions. Is there a way for me to flag some questions and easily access them again? If I wait even an hour, they are buried on page six somewhere.

40" model L40FHD41YX9, 6 months old. This happens with the remote and also with the buttons on the TV. I must have changed a setting or something. Now I have to manually punch in the channel numbers to change the channel. Other than this it works perfectly. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
