  • Can Police park on private property for traffic enforcement operations?

I have noticed police cars parked in private parking lots conducting speed enforcement operations. I have also noticed a cop that parks in a used car lot at night and watches an intersection for red light runners. I do not condone driving unsafely, but am confused about the authority of the police to park on private property to conduct their speed traps and traffic law enforcement. I wouldn't want them parked in my driveway running radar (not that it would happen), but isn't a cop parked in a private business lot the same thing? Are they supposed to be on a public street or public parking lot to run radar?

  • Why is it that mass shootings in the U.S. happen in places that do not allow concealed carry?

Ever notice that when crazies shoot up a bunch of people it usually happens at a place that does not allow law abiding citizens to carry a concealed weapon? Teachers who are trained are not allowed to carry concealed. Professors at Universities are not allowed to carry concealed if they wanted to. The Batman movie theater banned law abiding citizens from carrying concealed. What if a law abiding citizen or two were carrying at these schools, universities, and at the theater? Would more people be alive? Do you fell safer at a place where concealed carry is allowed?

  • Name Celebrities or Public Figures who Served in the U.S. Armed Forces.?

Name Actors, Actresses, Radio Personalities, Politicians, Musicians, Athletes, or any publicly known person who served in the United States Military, ie. Matt Tilman, former NFL football player, who unfortunatley was killed in Afghanistan. Bonus points for some military background on them (branch of service, rank, military specialty, if they served in combat).

  • If you are a law enforcement officer, what was the funniest or most amusing excuse for speeding?

Looking for a laugh. Best answer gets points. Thanks for your service, and sorry for the verbal abuse from some of the not so thankful. Unless someone is breaking into their house. Then I suppose you're like the second coming to them.
