Today I turned my car on, and I turned my radio on, just like I normally do. Everything was working fine, but then all of the sudden while I was driving and listening to the radio, it just shut off. I have an entena that goes up when in use and down when not in use. It was up and when it shut off it went down. Now it won't turn on, and I can't listen to CD's or tapes either. I've checked the fuses already and none of them were broken. I also didn't blow out the speakers because the music wasn't loud and that wouldn't explain why it won't even turn on. Do you have any ideas why this happened and what I can do to fix it? I don't want to have to take it in if I don't have to since it's an older car and probably not worth putting lots of money into it.

Our ten year old dog was just diagnosed with diabetes. It was caught early, so it isn't to the point of being too serious. But in order to give him his insulin shots twice a day, he has to have food in his stomach. This means we are having to feed him at a specific time in the morning and at night. When we put the food down he needs to eat it all in a short time period (10-20 min) and then given his shot after he eats.

The problem we are having though is that all his life he has never been on scheduled feeding times, we put his food out in the morning and he grazes throughout the day, and we refill his bowl again at night. He refuses to eat the food when it is given to him now. We can't just leave it out either because he now has a different food than our other dog, and she will eat his food if he leaves.

If he was not diabetic, we would put the food down, allow him 10-15 minutes to eat and then pick up the food and not put it back down until the next feeding time. But because he's diabetic and has to eat or his glucose levels will start to change, we can't just not give him food for 12 hours until he learns to eat when the food is put down.

My question is, how should we go about training him to eat the food when it is put down for him?

I bought my horse a new spare winter blanket at a tack sale this weekend. My only gripe about it is it doesn't have any rings already on it so I can put my detachable neck hood on it. How can I add D rings to it without access to a sewing machine? Is it possible to sew by hand, or should I just spend the money to take it to a place that can repair blankets?

I'm doing a report about the history of barrel racing for my 4-H public presentation. As an opening I want to find a quote that someone said about how rodeo is a man's sport and women don't belong in the arena/on a horse and then go on with my report about how women didn't like this and changed it by starting barrel racing and the WPRA. I have a quote that I want to have engraved onto a necklace. It's a longish quote, about 65 characters total, about 13 words. The problem is that I can't find anywhere that I can fit the entire quote into the space they give you. Most of them that I've found only allow you about 30 characters. I also don't want to spend tons of money on it I was hoping for about $30-$40. If you know of any website that meets my requirements, that would be greatly appreciated.

This is really annoying me. I can hardly play my sims 3 game anymore without it crashing every 5-10 minutes. This is what happens:

1) I'm in either create a sim or edit a sim's outfits and the sim/pet turns completely black then freezes then quits and a message pops up saying "the sims 3 unexpectedley quit" with the option to cancel, report, or reopen.

2) I try and save the game and it won't save because "error code 12" pops up

3) The game freezes while in gameplay and asks me if I want to debug my game with an option of either yes or no. No matter what I click, the game crashes.

This makes it nearly impossible to play my game and I have no idea what to do. I removed ALL of my downloaded custom content from the Sims 3 Exchange, and then uninstalled ALL of my expansion packs and the main game and then reinstalled them and it still does this. I'm not playing on a laptop so memory space should not be an issue. Do you have ANY solutions for this? I've spent all this money on the game and expansion packs and now I can't even play it.

This problem developed some time ago, that when I begin to canter my horse she experiences a weird movement in her gait where her hind right leg 'catches' up underneath her during a stride. I looks somewhat like a crow-hop, her hind end comes up. occasionally, this happens and then it leads to a crossfire. It's kind of hard to describe, we had the vet come out and take a look, but they weren't much help by diagnosing it as a strained muscle. We gave her about 2 months off, it went away for a while but is now occasionally happening again. Do you have any ideas what this could be? Maybe something with the SI joint? If you need anymore info, just ask and I'll do my best to explain it.

I want to get a door caddy to put into my locker out at my barn to store supplies in, but looking at the ones online, they cost like $25+. I don't really want to spend all that money on something like that, so I was wondering if you had any ideas on how I could go about making something like this. Or if you know where I can buy one really cheap, like a used one or something. Thanks.

I know this shouldn't really be in horses, but I feel that by putting it in another category, I wouldn't get as many good answers. I'm trying to find a racing saddle like this for my Sims 3 Horses, but cannot find anywhere to download it. I've tried downloading the horse but the saddle doesn't come with it. I want a racing saddle, so the irons are up higher and the rider is out of the saddle when the horse gallops. Please no rude answers. Thanks.

I've been looking at LifeProof cases to get for my iPhone 4s. While looking on Amazon, I came across this case. The reviews that it was given were good and people were claiming that it was an actual LifeProof but on mega clearance. I don't know, part of my thinks that it's too good to be true but I wanted to hear what you guys thought.

Currently I have the Verizon Samsung Brightside cell phone. I have a two year contract on it and have about 8 months until an upgrade. How much would the Early Termination fee cost? Also it says the iphone 4s is $99 with a two year contract, if I switched to this phone now would it still be $99 or would it be $550? Please help! This is all very confusing to me. I am not happy with my phone now and really would like to switch to an iphone.

How do you go about cleaning and loosening a rawhide over and under whip? Would power washing it help or using something like saddle soap? Also, what about loosening it? Right now it's very stiff, and the only thing that I can think of is bending ALOT until it un-stiffens, but do you have any suggestions? Thanks :)

Now for my camera: I have the Canon EOS Rebel T2i/550D with the standard zoom lens (EFS 55-250mm) as well as the basic lens (EFS 18-55mm). I plan on using the zoom lens.

So I am looking at taking photos of the barrel racers as they turn each barrel as well as when they are running for home. So things will be fast.

How would you suggest I set my camera in order to get quality non-grainy/blurry/bright enough photos.

I really want to play this Facebook game called Riding Club Championships, but have a mac computer so I'm not sure if I can. Have you ever played this game? Also when the game is loading it takes me to a screen where I can redeem my reward which is part of the game but once I accepted it, the screen goes white and a couple min. later a text comes up saying Plug-in Failure. Why is this? Do I need a PC to play this game. Thanks

Usually, I know a rug is a blanket that you put on your horse when it's in the stable and not outside as it's not always waterproof. But with this blanket, I'm not sure what the difference between a rug and a turnout is. It seems like you can turn your horse out in either as they are both waterproof.

I'm looking to buy a blanket for my horse, and I really really like this one. The only thing that concerns me is that it might be too warm for my horse. I live in Northwest Washington State and we get pretty much non stop rain for the winter months and the temperature usually ranges from 30 degrees F to 40 degrees F in the daytime and mid teens to twenties at night. This blanket has 400 grams of poly fill. Do you think she will get to warm? She grows a very small winter coat since I blanket her in the winter. Here is a link to the blanket:

I am in the market for a new winter blanket for my horse, I've narrowed it down to two; there is a price difference of $10.00 and one has 250 gram polyfill and the other has 300 gram polyfill. Those are the only main differences I can see, but which would you get? I live in Northwest Washington State, so we get a lot of rain and the weather usually ranges from 30-50 degrees in the winter.

So I want those of you who watch Heartland to give me your opinions on which horse you think will no longer be apart of Heartland season 6? After watching the last episode (episode 12) I'm really worried that it might be Spartan, that his fall is going to force him to be put down! I really hope I am wrong with this, that its going to be another horse, what I hope is that the writers are making us think that it is going to be Spartan that dies but it ends up being another horse. I can't really think of what other horse it could be though. What do you think? Also, what do you think happened to Spartan? I think he may have broken a leg or maybe Jeremy did something to him. What do you think?

I really want to do a project this winter. What that project is is a western belt halter for my horse. Do you have any ideas on how to do something like this? I've seen belt headstalls but I don't want to do this because the leather isn't made for riding and probably wouldn't hold up for everyday riding and could become potentially dangerous. So I thought a halter might be a better option. Except I haven't seen any pictures of them or steps on how to make one. Here is a link to a headstall, so this kind of idea but in a halter. Thanks!
