My girlfriend has a scorpion in her bedroom what should she do?
So my girlfriend left her window open and a scorpion found its way into her room and is now crawling around on her bed and she's too scared to move it [also she doesn't know how to] and she doesn't want to kill it since that would get scorpion juices on her bed.... any advice?
2 AnswersOther - Pets7 years agoHelp Coming Up With a New Username?
I'm tired of the username I have now. I've been using it for about, 4-5 years now, but I think it's all worn our for me. u n u
This username will be used to DeviantART.com, Youtube and pretty much anything else I need it for.
Here's some basic information to help:
My name is Alex (short for Alexandra). You could also use use Ally, Alley, or Aly depending on the flow.
I love Pokemon, Cats, Video Games in general, Drawing, Night-time, Creepypastas, Dr. Pepper, Slurpees and Sweets.
I'm really shy, jumpy, pretty socially awkward and quite lazy.
My favorite colours are shades of orange, red and brown as well as light blue and yellow.
---
The username I have at the moment is Nightfyire101 (used to be Starfyire, which is a take off of Starfire from Teen Titans).
I'd prefer it not to have any x's or numbers at the end.
I've thought of 8bit-Aly/Alley/Alex. I'd prefer it if it still had "Fyire" or something with my name or "Ally/Aly/Alley-cat" in it.
Any help would be much appreciated, thanks~ ^^
5 AnswersYouTube8 years agoI have to give a 10 minute presentation in a few days.. Help?
Okay, so I'm in an accelerated biology class in 9th grade and I have to give a 10 minuter presentation on Stem Cell Research in front of 90+ people.
To many, this wouldn't be seen as a problem, but I have crippling stage-fright. I can't even give a few second presentation in front of a class of 20 without visibly shaking. Heck, I can't even raise my hand and answer a question in fear of being laughed at. I know I should just get over it, but this is something that has bothered me since the first grade.
Do any of you have any advise as to what I should do? Anything would be much appreciated, thank you.
2 AnswersPrimary & Secondary Education8 years agoI've lost all motivation for school...Help?
I am 14 years old in the 9th grade and I have completely lost all motivation to do well in school.
Normally, I am a 3.8 GPA student and never get anything lower than a C, but lately, my grades have been dropping dramatically.
On my previous report card (which I got just yesterday), I got 2 C's and a D.
I just don't see why I should try anymore. I mean, when am I ever going to use any of this?
I am planning on going to a local art collage for graphic art and design, so I have no need for a lot of what I am learning.
I do perfectly fine in my art class, along with Accelerated Biology, Math and Civics, but in my French III (which I have tried to transfer out of) and English, I just can't seem to get my grades up.
I do my work, but as soon as homework is mentioned, I just forget about it and give up, which I think may be the biggest problem what with all the papers we need to write in English class.
I also dislike any or all social interactions, which makes it quite the hassle to make me want to go to school. Sure, I have some friends, but if I really wanted to talk to them, I'd just do it over the computer (my preferred way of communicating).
I have suggested that my parents enroll me in an online school and I am getting my portfolio ready to transfer to a High School not too far away specifically for art, but until then, I need to keep my grades high.
Does anyone have any tips that may motivate me to do better in my classes?
2 AnswersPrimary & Secondary Education8 years agoI've liked this guy for three years now but...?
So I've liked this guy for three years now (Grades 7-9). We talk everyday. We share food. We hug. He even warms my hands in his when mine are cold. The problem is he has a new girlfriend.
I'm being patient and I wont try to break them off as that would be rude. I respect his relationship, but I don't know what I should do.
Hes my best friend and I can honestly say he is the only guy I've ever really liked.
Now I know most of you are thinking "This is just another stupid little High School crush/phase, you'll get over it." But I really don't think I will.
My therapist (who is helping me with Social Anxiety) told me to just try to cut my ties with him, but I can't. He makes my day better just with a simple "hello". He helps me through my problems (or at least tries to).
If anyone can give me some good/useful advice, It'd be much appreciated.
Thank you for your time. c:
1 AnswerSingles & Dating9 years agoHe used to like me, but I'm not sure anymore?
So there's this guy, we've been hanging out for 3 years now, and we went out briefly a year ago. It ended due to communication problems, but we continued being close friends.
We hang out everyday, and up until a few days ago, he used to like me. But now, hes starting to like someone else.
He still acts overly-protective of me, getting kinda mad when I hug/talk to other guys and threatens to beat anyone up for me. He also makes me feel good about myself and compliments me.
I'm getting mixed messages, and I want your guys' opinion of what I should do.
I know its been a year since we dated, but I still like him and have for 3 years. To be honest, hes the only guy i've ever liked.
I really want him to be happy, but I also want to take the girl by the back of her head and smash it into the cement (not literally).
Advice?
Singles & Dating9 years agoHow can I get my Gopher to be nicer?
A few months ago, I bought a Richardson's Ground Squirrel (aka Gopher) from a pet show. He will come out of his cage and I can pet him, but he occasionally bites (not hard) and I can't pick him up.
I've tried many different things for him to warm up to me such as feeding him out of my hand, petting him, and having him get used to my scent. I've asked my mom about it (as she is an animal breeder), and she just told me to continue what I am doing.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what else I can do?
I have owned many rats before him, but since they are different animals (and he was wild caught as a pup), it is harder to get him as friendly as they were.
No troll answers please. c:
