So, an ex of mine is starting to talk to me again. We broke up on good terms last october because she was using me to replace her best male friend who committed suicide in january 2013, and I was a close second place to him. Long story short, when I couldn't be him, we drifted. However, one of her friends said she called me a basically perfect boyfriend.

Anyway, after months of occassionally trying to keep a casual friendship (and getting ignored), she wants to talk again. It's like old times, and I still have feelings for her. However, my problem is that I overthink all the time... Am I reading too much into this?

I've been in love with the same girl for nearly two years, and now she is my ex for reasons that were within my grasp, but not anymore. I messed up big-time, and she seems to have moved on, we're now close "friends" (she doesnt pay attention to the fact we used to date an continue our friendship), and every time she smiles at me, it makes me feel amazing, but i have to remember that she has somebody else.

How do I move on when there isnt any other girl to "move on" to?

To the women who take a look at this question (for men, continue reading, a question is for you near the bottom), could "radical honesty" (a style of living/ policy that denotes being honest at ALL times, including thoughts on first impressions, actions, reactions, etc) be attractive to you?

For example, a friend of yours introduces you to a fairly handsome guy for some sort of a get-together. After the third-party introductions, he shakes your hand, and states that he thinks that you are attractive. Noting a quizzical reaction from you, he explains that he believes in radical honesty, and begins to describe it. Shortly after, the day moves on.

Would that greeting be creepy? Flattering? Refreshing? Would you become suspicious?

One step further, even, and he shows an interest in you and asks you out for a date in a casual way. Would that be almost too forward?

For the men: how about if the genders were reversed?

I ask because the psychology of human interaction fascinates me.. Or would that be classified as sociology?.. Im not sure..

I particularly enjoy manga that have a heavily involved plot, Im not really looking for a shallow harem.

Good Ending and Kimi no Iru Machi are perfect examples of these kind of manga, but theyre still not finished so i have to wait a freaking long time until the next chapter comes out! Gah!

anyway, my wish-list is as follows, please!

-LONG! (100+ chapters would be preferable)

I guess the title pretty much explains it.. I still love the girl that led me and some other guy on (at the same time) for attention because she had never gotten over her ex...

Its kinda weird to say it, but she was perfect in every other way... Scout's honor, haha. She was my friend before this all happened, and was the type to be at the center of everything. Not that she really liked it, but things kinda just..... Like gravity. She's extremely loyal to her friends, and notices **** other people wouldnt care to. Plus, she was drop-dead gorgeous, haha.

But she made me and that other dude compete with each other for eight months for her (which sounds like a long time to be that involved, but its a testament to how worth it she was), and during this time she'd call me in the middle of the night, crying, needing support. And like a dumbass, i gave it to her. When she needed guidance about pretty much anything serious, she would come to me.

I invested a lot of emotion and trust into this girl. A lot of nights i could have spent sleeping, I stayed up just talking to her.. random stuff or serious problems. Since she's an insomniac, id try to lead her through meditative exercises to get her to relax and gently drift off to sleep. She held my hand when I accidentally sliced open my foot at her place, we took naps in each other's laps, and kissing was... *ahem* kissing was pretty cool... It was like we were dating, except there was that other guy involved. She probably did the same things with him, and all through that time I cried over her (sounds gay, but the last relationship i was in, I was the "other guy", so I kinda developed jealousy issues. And she knew that...), I figured it would end up well for me because I was the one that was helping her through the hard parts of her life, you know? He didnt have the "bad boy" charm, so i figured i was safe.

But then BOOM! She tells me that she thinks we should just stay friends (a little late for that...), and wouldnt give an explanation when i asked her what it all meant to her. She told me that I was forcing myself on her when she didnt even like me in the first place, and to not be so pushy with my questions.

guess everything she said were lies. She told me that the reason she didnt stop me (kissing and whatnot) was because she didnt know how.. The reason why she agreed to cosplay (costume-play) in sexy outfits for a private show was because she would do that for a friend too. She avoided saying why she kissed me back, and also the question why she blushed so deeply whenever her mom teased us about dating... Then she finally told me that she had never really gotten over her ex. (she couldnt be lying, because some of the things we talked about at night about were "if she made the wrong choice in guy again". Apparently she had let Mr. Right go, and was scared about choosing wrong again.)

Now she just wants to be friends, and i have to accept that, but its difficult. She was the first person i decided to trust, after a year of a "relationship" of seeing the girl i loved being held and kissed by another guy. Apparently i still mean a lot to her, so thats why she wants to stay friends. She wants to forget the guilt of being the b*tch she promised never to be, and ill let her.

I still love her though, and thats the reason why i am asking this question:

How do i move on? Strategies, tips, that kinda thing?

Hi! Well, um, to start off, I guess I'll fill everybody in on the details before launching into it. Oh, and thanks in advance for reading!

Okay, well, I'll call the girl "X". X is what i would call my ideal girl. She is loving, sweet, kind, easy on the eyes, kinda mischevious, and very, VERY caring. She is super loyal, and is possibly the best kind of friend anybody could have: the self-sacrificing type. (she is also very idealistic about people in general, and she's very pure. AKA no alcohol, cigarettes or anything illegal) She doesnt want to lose any of her relationships, and strives to keep everybody close to her happy. It's exactly what i love about her, but at the same time, because of that, she isnt very decisive. Often caught by her assumed "responsibility" for everyone's well being, she doesnt have too much time where her own happiness is concerned. Which is where i step in, haha.

She likes me back, but the issue is that she is caught in between two guys. Myself, and "C". C is extremely apathetic, and has only started to pursue her because she initiated it. Whereas I have displayed my interest in her of my own accord and much, much earlier.

In the simplest terms, "C" is ideal in terms of behavior. A model person. He is as "pure" as she is and doesnt swear or drink or anything like that. She really likes that about him, and i know i cannot compete with him on a "good boy" level. however, he isnt the type to take the lead or to be an aggressor in any kind of romantic situation. She says that he doesnt care very much, and isnt very supportive in most endevours she makes. Haircut? "i thought you looked better with your old haircut" She's cold? "oh, thats nice." She has a cold? "... *doesnt do anything*".

She tells me that I have the "loyalty" and "love" part of a relationship that shes looking for. She says that if i were against anybody else but C, i would have won a long time ago.

He has the "goody two-shoes" bit going for him, and i have everything else apparently, but somehow i feel like im being played. If she were anybody else, i would have assumed that and left instantly. I have been in these types of situations before. I was the "other man" in a completely different relationship, and she ended up staying with her boyfriend after stringing me along, then dumped him a month later.. anyway, i had to spend a lot of time with those people together, and watching the girl I loved be hugged and kissed by somebody that wasnt me was excrutiating. I had to deal with that for a year, and it gave me intense jealousy issues.

Anyway, I was wondering what i should do.. Ive done a lot of wrong in my life, but i feel like this girl could change me for the better. However SHE wont improve as a person with me. She'd improve as a person with C, which is important for her. However, I still want her. The only justification for the way I feel is my own desire, which makes me feel like a weak and shallow idiot, but despite that, i still want her. Dont get me wrong, id make sure she felt loved and secure and all that, but she wouldnt grow while dating me.

sorry to drag this out, but here's my question. What do i do? I love her, but she'd be better off with the other guy now that he finally woke up to how he feels as well. Do i leave them to it and hope to find a girl half as amazing as her? Do i stick it out and hope that she chooses me, no matter how much it hurts? (she talks about how he flirts with her in front of me, when she knows i have jealousy issues.. AND he apparently uses a phrase that I came up with for her.. god damn line thief... -_-)

Well, I just finished reading/watching Mirai Nikki (future diary) AND I LOVED IT! God, yuno was so effin creepy, but not necessarily the same as other yandere characters... Anyway, now I feel like watching some yandere head-choppy goodness.

I want to take more of an intense martial art, now that ive done about two years of western wrestling (WWE. THATS NOT REAL WRASSLIN!)

anyway, im not gonna drop it, but i would like to take up a different art to complement the wrestling. Any suggestions are welcome, but i would like a brief explanation of each recommended art, because ive seen people just put "muy thai" and not explain why. Ah, that just annoys me.

Whenever a Christian and an atheist get into an argument, it usually ends up with the christian falling back on what the bible says as a defense against whatever the atheist's good point is.

It seems that instead of actually proving god exists to people, christians rely on their own percieved truths to argue whenever the bible's accurateness is called into question. So my question is this.

Why not get actual proof of God instead of relying on a document that he (supposedly) wrote through different people? The way to convince atheists is not to give readings from a book they dont believe in, but to provide well-grounded fact, and continue from there.

Why is there god? Because the Bible says so.

Then could the bible be wrong? No, because God wrote it.

It just goes into this odd cycle and im just wondering "why?". Itd be so much more simpler if christianity even had a foothold in fact.

Since I saw code geass and deathnote back-to-back this weekend, I've been wondering... Hypothetically, if Lelouch were to take the place of Light in Deathnote, would he have succeeded where Light failed? Who would win, L or Lelouch? What about if Lelouch had the deathnote? Would it make a difference if he did? This is all assuming that he has his geass, and he would be without his mech. This is also assuming that he doesnt have the black knights on his side, either.

To simplify, this is my question.

In the deathnote world, Lelouch wants the world to become a gentler place for his sister, nunally. He finds the deathnote, and pretty much follows in Light's footsteps (ideals, how to use the deathnote) and becomes Kira.

-Deathnote anime conditions. L vs Lelouch WITH the deathnote, with geass.

-Deathnote anime conditions. L vs Lelouch WITHOUT the deathnote, with geass.

-If he could defeat L, would he be able to create that new world in spite of mello and near?

Agh! It seems that I have run out of romance anime to watch! I'm in a lull and I'd really, really like to get back to spending my days in an anime stupor (just the way i like it ^_^).

I need help finding some romance type anime. Any genre its under is completely fine (i.e. horror, action, comedy, or just a straight-up romance) as long as it has some of that romantic thingy in it! I prefer comedies, school life, and really sad or dark ones (so basically, i like almost everything, lol). Here's a list of anime I liked (and why) to help you help me:

Angel Beats. (the mystery of it all plus some love in it was great)

Spice and Wolf (the banter between Holo and Laurence was great, and needless to say the romantic tension)

Ouran Highschool Host Club (the first series i ever watched! T-T reverse harems dont bother me, so dont worry about the gender when recommending. SO CUTE TOO)

Shuffle!/ Rosario + Vampire (that being said, regular harems are great as well. The whole "competing for affection" is cool

Onegai Teacher/ Twins (i enjoy plots such as these. Being hilarious doesnt hurt either, heheh)

Dragonauts; The Resonance. (its an action, but i liked how there was a lot of romance in it too)

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. ( Lelouch is totally Light Yagami reincarnated! Anyway, I loved it entirely, it was action/psychological but it also included romance! I'll miss you Shirley!)

Toradora. (llooooovvveddd sooooo mucchhhhh! I like plots such as this as well, and taiga is so ******* adorable its rididculous!)

Im having difficulty deciding who I should go as to an anime cosplay party that my friend invited me to. (Its my first time going to one!) Im pretty nervous, but that's all of the fun.

-139 pounds

-I have a slim build. i have muscles, but they aren't bulging

-the biggest issue I have is my hair. Right now, its a buzz-cut (it grew to about an inch in length) and is blonde. The color isnt the issue, I can dye it, but the length!!! grr. I guess i could buy a wig, but still..

I'm making a manga where the main character loses his memory and his only friend is his eventual love interest... its a bit more complicated, but for my first one, i was thinking something comforting and familiar. i already have the female protagonist's name "kameko" which means turtle child. :) anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated.
