Do I just go into the salon and they will just bleach my hair blonde, and add on the pink?

The mutual friend of myself (pretty shy) and a guy I like (also pretty shy) keeps teasing me about liking this guy and keeps joking that we should go on dates- she is better friends with him than me- so is it a possibility he has spoken to her about me?

Would she tease me about this if he didn't like me back or does the fact that she is, mean something?

I'm a music student and I met this guitarist at uni early last year and instantly liked him.

He added me on facebook almost immediately after we met and always compliments my singing whenever we see each other. We made small talk throughout the year but it never progressed because we're both pretty shy-him especially around girls.

We've been hanging out more together recently through mutual friends and while I was around his house last week, we were by ourselves for about an hour because I was waiting for a lift.

Whilst out with one of our mutual friends, I admitted to her that I had a small crush on him, and she told me that he told her about the time we spent, just the two of us in the previous week. He apparantly said it was awkward and he was trying to think of things to say, but that he was nervous to talk to me and that it was okay that it was awkward because we're very similar?

He compliments my voice a lot- but is he just being nice or what?

I'm freaking out because we have a duo gig next week and I don't know how to act- help me out, please!

I like this guy at uni- he is really shy. He has lots of friends, but they are mostly all guys. We study music, so every time I perform he compliments me, he added me on Facebook as soon as we met and whenever I pass him, he always makes really quick, intense eye-contact.

But other times, he will completely ignore me? Whenever we have a conversation, he doesn't contribute much, and we both went to a gig the other night, and he literally ignored me the entire time!

We are going out to the movies with a group on Wednesday and I don't think he has a girlfriend and am really nervous about it.

Please tell me straight- does he like me and is just super shy, or is it time to call it a day- is he just not that into me?

Are you so adamant about this because it is apparently a God-given right, or are you just that stupid?

This guy I like and I have a lot in common- humour, movies, music etc.

But his last girlfriend was a really big tomboy and some of the girls he has liked have been really boyish, unfeminine and the total opposite of girly.

I am feminine and girly- I dress really prettily and everything, but I'm not high maintenance.

I feel like there's something between us, but is it likely that he'd want to have a romantic relationship with someone who isn't exactly his "type"?

This guy is super easy going. He's not a flirt, and he's not a charmer, he's just super friendly with everyone.

We get all the same movie and music references the other makes, have the same sense of humour and we like all the same things.

He always stares at my mouth when I'm talki and if someone is talking to me, he looks at me the whole time. But how do you know if someone who is friendly with everyone, likes you separately?

This guy I like is very religious (very involved in religious community etc.), whilst I am a very liberal atheist.

I understand how this difference could be damaging to any potential in a relationship in older years, in terms of children and marriage etc., but is this my lack of religious beliefs a factor that could be swaying him against dating me?

My natural hair colour is a dark brown; I have green eyes and an olive complexion.

I wanted to either: dye my hair fully or partially black or

dye it partially lighter.

The bad news is that we haven't spoken yet, but the good news is that he has barely spoken to anyone at all.

He's obviously very shy and hasn't made many friends yet, whereas I would consider myself shy, but I have made heaps of friends.

How do I get talking to him without doing the disgustingly obvious thing of going straight up to him?

i.e., atheist and christian, muslim and buddhist etc.
