  • Are the cheaters getting smarter?

I see a LOT of people in this section who create multiple accounts. The most recent cheater i've seen is "favre our savior". the cheaters are now picking their main account, but just to make sure they aren't suspected, they start cussing the guy out. Everyone thinks "oh, that guy just got cussed out, they can't be the same person". These guys are getting smart, but I think everyone needs to do their part and report these people. Does anyone know of any other people who cheat?

  • The best wide receivers?

This is the Hardest position to pick just 5 players, but I'm asking you to do it. Tell me who the five best are and why. Don't just look at stats, look at everything. Here's my list.

    1. CALVIN JOHNSON - he's amazingly young, and he plays for the lions. Imagine if he had Brees or Manning throwing to him.

    2. ANDRE JOHNSON - He has almost no help as far as receiving, and he still leads the league in receptions and yards. This guy is HOF material

    3. LARRY FITZGERALD - For no reason other than his dominating size and the playoffs last season. The pro-bowl was nice, too. This guy scares DBs

    4. STEVE SMITH - he missed two games and still had 1400 yards

    5. REGGIE WAYNE - This spot could have been taken by MANY people. Roddy White, but he needs one more great season. Anquan Boldin is a definite contender, but he missed too much time. I give it to Wayne because last time Marvin was gone for most of the season, he managed 105 catches and 1500 yards. this time Marvin is gone for good and I expect some great stats.

  • Aren't the pats fans getting arrogant?

I really think these guys are going over the top now. EVERY SINGLE pats fan I see seems to think that "Brady's back! Superbowl!" These guys don't even stop to think that maybe the injury will change him. Maybe another team will be better. Maybe we aren't the best mother****ing team in the world! But, you know what. I kind of like their arrogance. Remember what happened last time someone from the patriots got cocky?

Plaxico Buress - Predicts Giants win 23-17

Tom Brady - (laughing) "We're only going to score 17 points?"

Tell me Tom, wouldn't you LOVE those 17 points now?

  • What are your teams top five Madden Ratings?

If you had to rate the top five players on your team in Madden, what would they be? Be as biased as you want, if you're a lions fan, go ahead and give Stafford an 85. It's your choice. For the Colts I would say

    Manning - 99

    Reggie Wayne - 96

    Dwight Freeney - 95

    Bob Sanders - 93

    Dallas Clark - 93

  • Who else is sick of them?

The San Fransisco fans. Jesus Christ! If you released the projected records for each team and gave the lions 10 wins, even the lions fans would flip out and call you crazy. But if you gave the 49ers 10 wins, the fans would just take it in stride. They seem to think that they're going to overtake the Cards for the division? Or maybe they can get into the playoffs by wild card? Tell me, are the 49ers any better than the giants, eagles, or redskins? How about the cowboys, saints, or falcons? Maybe the vikings or packers? Hell they probably think they're better than the Panthers, Bears, or Seahawks too!

  • Manning: The best QB to win one ring?

Will Peyton Manning always be remembered as the best QB to win one superbowl. Dan Marino is easily the best QB not to win a ring. The thing is, I don't think Manning is done just yet. He has played 11 seasons, I see another seven or eight productive seasons. The reason I think he can play into his 40's is because he doesn't play with his cannon arm, he doesn't rely on his offensive line, and he doesn't win games with his legs. This QB is all about the mind. So, you ask "How can he possibly win a superbowl? Look at his terrible playoff record!". Well, some Quarterbacks reach a "superbowl age". Manning will get better as he gets older in the playoffs. He may not throw for 4300 yards and 32 tds every season. But he will be smarter and wiser. He will be able to lead his team to superbowls because he has been in the playoffs so long, he has seen it all. John Elway also had this period. It took quite a while for his superbowl rings, but they came. After Manning completes his assault on the record books, he will have passed favre and marino, but unless he gets over the big hill like Elway did, he will always be remembered as "The best qb to win 1 ring"

So, will he win another 1-2? Or will he be stuck with one?

  • Wouldn't you agree with me?

The 2009 football season is coming up soon, and plenty of fans are looking at their teams and seeing so much good, all willing to believe that their team can win the superbowl this year. It happens every year, and then it hits them. This is the NFL. You can't look at a paper and decide which team is the best. Any team can come out of anywhere and beat you, whether you saw it coming or not. But I think one thing is obvious, going into the NFL season, all 32 teams DO NOT have a chance at the superbowl, no matter who they signed or drafted or traded. In fact, there are a total of twelve teams at the end of a season that can possibly make it. But only 8 of those teams really have a chance. And I'm about to name them off right now:

ATLANTA FALCONS: This has got to be a top superbowl contender next season. The Falcons aren't a team with one unstoppable unit to rely on such as the Giants run or the Colts Pass. This is a unit that can run the ball when ahead, they can run early, and they can run when tied. They can also pass when behind. They can pass to move the ball. They can pass when the game is tied. And they can play defense. Turner is the only one on this team that I worry about. I'm not sure he can match last season, if he can come close, the Falcons are a top team.

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES: McNabb is still the man here whether you like it or not. The only thing I see as a question mark with this team is health. If the starters stay healthy, this is an unstoppable team, but McNabb CANNOT be on and off this season. He has got to be on, and STAY on.

INDIANAPOLIS COLTS: When all else fails, let Manning throw the ball. The fact that they had the 31st worst run game, and the worst yards per carry, and STILL managed to win twelve games is beyond me. Because it's not like the pass game was unstoppable this year, or that the defense shut down other teams. The point is that Manning can will his team to victory no matter the situation.

PITTSBURGH STEELERS: It's impossible to make this list and not include the defending champs. It's all on Roethlisberger this season. The defense will perform, people know that, but they also know that Big Ben isn't the best QB out there. Not after a season of 15 tds and 13 ints. He can win in the playoffs, sure. But can the steelers make the playoffs this year?

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS: It ALL rides on Tom Brady. Enough said.

MINNESOTA VIKINGS: If all goes according to plan, the vikes have Adrian Peterson bringing 8 guys into the box, then you have Brett Favre launching passes to Marvin Harrison, Bernard Berrian, and Sidney Rice. And finally, you have Percy Harvin, lord knows where this offense can go next year.

GREEN BAY PACKERS: These guys have a monstrous pass defense, a great pass game, and a decent run game. Doesn't sound like the best team. But a pass defense can be very important in the playoffs. If Rodgers can raise his game a little from last year and get ahead early, it's going to be hard for other teams to catch up. The big question is whether they can get into the playoffs.

SAN DIEGO CHARGERS: If Merriman and Tomlinson can shake off injuries and return at least close to top form, this is a scary team. The other scary thing? an 8-8 record last season. There is NO ONE stopping them from getting into the playoffs, but that's the problem. Most other teams compete for a playoff spot, if they get in, it proves that they are good enough. The chargers are practically given the playoff spot, they prove nothing if they go 9-7 and win a crappy division.

JUST MISSED TEAMS: Redskins, Giants, Ravens, and Saints.

  • Some uncommon comparisons: who is better?

To take a small break from the big time rivalries of football, lets look at people you normally don't compare...

    Who's better?

Dwight Freeney OR Kyle Vanden Bosch

    Brian Dawkins OR Roy Williams

    Antonio Gates OR Jason Witten

    Terrell Owens OR Wes Welker

    Derrick Brooks OR Mike Vrabel

    Reggie Wayne OR Brandon Marshall

    Nmadi Ashomuga OR Dominic Rodgers-Cromartie

    Matt Cassel OR Aaron Rodgers

    Joseph Addai OR Lendale White

    Demarcus Ware OR Mario Williams

    Kelvin Hayden OR Quentin Jammer

Well, I think that was quite a bit. Tell me who you like more and elaborate if you can. Best EXPLANATIONS gets 10 points. I want reasons, not just "I don't like him cuz he's a fag"

  • Who are your top ten?

If the NFL were to clear all rosters and have a 50 round draft, who would the top ten players be? Don't just name young players, name players who would help you win NOW.

    Also, who would you pick:

Say it's the 24th round, you have a starting lineup on offense and some good depth at those positions, but you only have 5 starters on defense. The best available players are...

Anthony Gonzales- you have one starter and one decent receiver

Vanden Bosch- you only have one defensive lineman

Another scenario: You have the 10th overall pick. There are loads of possible players to pick, but you want a qb to build around. The two best choices are...

    Joe Flacco

    Matt Cassell

And the third scenario: you picked 8 offensive players with your first eight picks, you have the entire o line, a qb, a runningback, and a wide receiver. You need an impact player on defense, who do you pick?

Bob Sanders- an impact player, but injuries can get in the way

Quentin Jammer- less injuries, but can a cornerback carry a defense the way a linebacker or safety can?

I asked these questions just to get a look at what you guys think about the NFL

  • Afc south fans, where ya at?

Just wanna know who the afc south fans are and who they root for. We gotta stick together because i think every team in the afc south is underrated. For the last 3 years and the next 3 years at least every team in the south has had a chance to win the superbowl. We are the strongest division but we miss out on that title to the nfc west. I actually have some questions about each team, so here we go!

Texans- Definitely the team that I want to watch next year, these guys always give the colts a hard time and could have easily been 9-7 or 106 last year. People seem split on the Texans, one third think they will not win 5 games, one third think that they'll be a team right in the playoff mix with 8-10 wins, and one third think that they might even win the division! what do you think? Can they take second, or dare i say... first?

Titans- Another interesting team to watch next season. They had one good season and the titan fans all want respect, but everyone seems to think that it takes more than one season to get respect. The problem is that with out albert in the middle of the line, I can see this team falling to the bottom half of the south easily. Another problem would be that the GM must be pressured to start vince young, he might not get as many wins, but he's flashy and he is the popular pick outside of tennessee. The fans all want collins again, but there are some who think young deserves his chance. What do you think? Collins or young? Can they win without big al? will they win the division two years in a row?

Jaguars- I'm telling you, this is going to be a fun division to watch. All of these teams could go either way. The jags suffered a letdown last season, but they did the right think in making MJD the starting back. I think that addressing the offensive line was also a great move. This looks to be a top running team and a good pass defense. It's all about the passing game and the receivers now, if they can pull it off I see a possible playoff berth. What do you think? Can Garrard hold his own and get the team to the playoffs? Will MJD become a premiere back?

Colts- The colts lost Marvin Harrison, second on the all time receptions list. They lost Dominic Rhodes, a key part of the 2006 superbowl, a former 1000 yard rusher, and the colts leading rusher last season. They lost one of the most reliable punters in the league, Hunter Smith. They lost a key special teams player, Darrel Reid. But none of that matters. The biggest losses where offensive coordinator, offensive line coach, and head coach. Dungy, Mudd, and Moore held this team together. Not to mention Moore was the only OC Manning has ever had. This is the season for Manning to shush naysayers. If he can perform as the best qb this season, he can show that no matter how old he gets, no matter who he loses, such as marvin, no matter who the coaches, this guy can perform. Yes, it's been an offseason of loss for the colts, but the gains have been good, too. The colts got Uconn stud running back Donald Brown. The reason I see him as a future NFL star would be because of his work ethic, this guy is a good person and a smart person. The kind of guys Polian likes to draft. Fili Moala is a big defensive tackle who can help solve the problem that is the run game. And in my opinion the biggest acquisition, and the one that makes me flinch was Ed Johnson. It's a slap in the face to Dungy, who just left the colts, that they would resign a player that he didn't want. johnson can however fix the problem that is the colts run defense. With Moala and Johnson in the middle, it may be hard for runningbacks to find a place to go, and thanks to Marlin Jackson (a cb known for strong tackles and good strength rather than interceptions) runs to the outside don't work. If Sanders doesn't worry about run support, he can play deep and rock any wr who goes down the middle. If this is a healthy season for the colts I can see them going to the big game. So what do you think? Will gonzales break out? will sanders play a full season? will the run defense be improved?

This is by far the most interesting division this season. Other than the colts, who seem to be a favorite to win the division, the next three spots are COMPLETELY up in the air. Actually, if the jags can stay healthy, they can compete for the title, if the texans can improve the defense, they can compete for the title, if the titans can add some passing firepower, they can compete for the division. Oh, jesus I can't wait for week 1!!!!!

  • a question for adam. you think moss is better?

You thought moss was better than harrison. You are a sad man. Lets compare stats shall we? I am going to take both receivers first 11 years and compare them. Let me warn you before, Harrison managed to do as well as he did with harbaugh as his starting qb.

Harrison first 11 years- 1018 catches, 13697 yards, 122 tds

Moss first 11 years- 843 catches, 13201 yards, 135 tds

Harrison has also had 105 more first downs in that time

Harrison had 1 less fumble in those years

Harrison averaged 80.57 ypg in that time

Moss averaged 77.7 ypg in that time

  • Do Brady's three rings really make him better than Manning?

Everyone is going to say yes right away, but listen up. If you think rings are everything, I have a few examples.

Eli has one ring, Marino has none, who's better?

Dilfer has one ring, McNabb has none, who's better?

Aikman has three rings, Marino has none, who's better?

Elway has two rings, Bradshaw has four, who's better?

Once you compare guys like Marino and Dilfer, you get the picture. Stats, MVP's, records, Pro-Bowls, that stuff is all about who you are as a player. Superbowls is all about the team. It doesn't take a team to win an MVP award, in fact, Manning didn't have much of a team when he won the last.

When Brady went down, the Patriots managed 11 wins without him. Brady averaged 12 wins. What would happen if Manning went down? I don't see the colts winning 5 games without him. What will they rely on? The run game? The run defense? The special teams? Brady obviously has a better team, that's why he has more rings.

  • Who's next on the NFL roller coaster?

Every year in the NFL certain teams tank and other teams rise to the top. It is completely unexpected and I love it because for the last 7 years, the colts haven't been hit. Who's next this season? My thoughts...

Free Fall (the fun part of the ride):

The dolphins will NOT come close to winning the division.

The jets will NOT have a winning record, but will be close.

The Steelers will NOT win 12 games. Maybe 11 if they're lucky.

The Titans will NOT be good, or decent, or average without Al.

The Broncos will NOT be below avg. They will suck.

The Cowboys will NOT have 9 wins. Maybe 8.

The Giants will NOT be a top team. Maybe 9-10 wins.

Tampa Bay will NOT win more than 7 games.

Carolina will NOT make the playoffs.

    Uphill (suspenseful):

The Texans WILL contend for a playoff spot (9-10 wins)

The Jags WILL come close to the texans (7-8 wins)

The Bengals WILL be better, although not by much

The Chargers WILL get above .500

The Bills WILL take second in the east (8-9 wins)

The Pack WILL challenge for a playoff spot (8-10 wins)

The Bears MIGHT steal wins from the Pack (6-9 wins)

The Eagles WILL be a top NFC team

The Saints WILL be in the playoff hunt

Ladies and gentlemen, please leave your valuables under your seat, and exit to your right.

  • yeah, i hate the patriot's fans. More about the receivers?

People say Brady had bad receivers while Manning has always been well stocked. Well if you are a patriots fan that agrees with that, you are in for a rude awakening.

    MANNING'S WEAPONS:

He has always had Marvin, sure, but how was Marvin before he had Peyton? He averaged 68 catches for 851 yards and 7 tds. He was good, but with Manning, he unleashed himself.

Then, you talk about reggie. in his first four years he averaged 55 catches 777 yards and a little over five touchdowns. After that, Manning had two years of two great recievers, then marvin went down and manning was back down to one. Then marvin came back and sucked, and manning still had one great reciever.

Manning's best tight end before Clark? Marcus Pollard. from 98-02, the years that pollard was the starting tight end without clark he averaged 35 catches for 468 yards for five touchdowns.

Jerome Pathon, Manning's third reciever in his early years averaged 34 catches for 412 yards and 1.5 touchdowns.

Dallas Clark has been great the last two seasons, but what was he before that? Back when Manning was throwing to other guys (such as pollard, stokely, and more no-namers). He averaged 30 catches for 404 yards and about 3 tds.

So that's what Manning has had most of his career. Other than Marvin, Number 18 has had just about no help. A little more than Brady? Yeah. A lot more than Brady? No. Manning took his one star receiver and built off of him, stacking up stats by spreading the ball around to no name wide receivers, a motley crew of tight ends and some running backs. Heck, he even made Edgerrin James a 60 catch receiver! You don't see that happening with Kurt Warner in Arizona do you? Don't tell me the Edge is old, he left Indiana after a 1500 yard season, he was at the top of his game.

    BRADY'S WEAPONS:

Yeah, his were a little worse, but I would take a great defense and offensive line over a few more offensive toys.

The first thing people say about Brady is, "who did he win his first superbowl with?" A bunch of no namers! right? WRONG. My answer to this question is usually along the lines of:

"Well, lets begin with his top receiver that year. Troy Brown, he had 101 catches for 1199 yards and 5 touchdowns. Yeah, no big deal right?"

Then, I begin talking about the other "no-namers"

"If you don't think that's enough, he had David Patten. 51 catches for 750 yards and 4 touchdowns."

Better than Manning so far? No. But it's not bad at all. Then, I say...

"Oh, so you want the no-namers now? Okay, Jermaine Wiggins. He wasn't very impressive as far as receiving, but he managed 4 tds without a start, not a bad redzone target."

So, you got a no namer! Yay! Umm, that makes how many? One. Now that we see Manning's weapons, although better than Brady, aren't that great. Let's move on to what ACTUALLY won those Superbowls. Defense. Even the colts won a superbowl because of a great kicker and some amazing defense. The pats defense picked off 18 passes that season, not amazing, but these guys knew how to get qb's off their game. They also managed 37 sacks. Not great, once again, but two sacks a game really puts the other team back. Then, you couple in 12 fumbles recovered, two touchdowns on returns, 113 points by the kicker, and one of the top third-down defenses in the playoffs.

Let's make one more thing clear... I just named the stats for all of the defensive STARTERS and the offensive STARTERS. Backups don't do much, but the colts best safety this season was a backup, he had 4 picks.

Let's even go back to what all of the patriots fans will say after this "Brady has more rings". Well, if Vanderjagt had made a 40+ yard field goal in the 2005 afc championship, manning would have two rings, just one behind brady.

  • Manning Vs. Brady, colts and pats fans read!?

Seeing as i'm a colts fan, people think this will be biased. But I am truly going to delve deep into the subject and put everything on the table, then you can tell me who you think is better.

    REGULAR SEASON:

In the regular season, the colts always seem to be a superbowl favorite and manning is always in the MVP race, thanks to some great offensive teammates, you can never count manning out of a game.

Brady has always put up good numbers. not great, but good. The 2007 season being the highlight and one of the primary reasons he is placed above manning on many people charts. He threw for an insane 50 tds while crushing every team he played.

Manning gets the edge here because of his absolutely crazy numbers and his record setting pace. the qb record book will have two words in it once he has retired. "Manning, Peyton"

    POST SEASON

Manning is terrible in the post season, his defense actually steps up (as they should) but he doesn't deliver. He has about 6 or 7 years to prove everyone wrong and win some more rings, otherwise he will always be known as a choker.

Brady is ridiculously good here, hopefully the SB loss wasn't a sign of bad things to come... oh, wait, he destroyed his knee in the next game. sorry pats fans

Brady gets the edge here. no need to explain.

    CLUTCHNESS:

I don't care what people say, Manning is WAY more clutch than Montana, Bradshaw, Elway, and all those other retired guys. The top three are favre manning and brady (in no particular order). He will definitely have the most game tying/winning drives in 4th qtr/OT once he is done.

Brady however gets it done in the playoffs. I don't call that clutch for one reason only, this is a qb's time to perform, nothing special about it.

No one gets the edge. this is dead even, if brady can come back next season we might have a winner, as of now. nothing.

    OTHER ARGUMENTS FOR MANNING:

People say that manning has always had more talent around him. That seems like the truth, but his talent hasn't been much better. If anything, i rate manning's surrounding offense an 8/10 and brady's a 7/10. Manning has had one receiver better than brady ever had, harrison. Reggie Wayne started out slow and developed because he worked hard and had Manning throwing to him. He makes them better, not vice versa. Also, Clark learned from Marcus Pollard his first two years, he had a great veteran to learn from. His offensive line is worse than Brady's, Saturday and Glenn are the only two worth knowing, the others are all nobodies. If you still don't believe me, look at Brandon Stokely. He came to the colts after a miserable first two seasons, and in 2004 he was a 1000 yard 10 touchdown reciever. He left the colts and he's a nobody again, Manning made him better. If Gonzales takes off next year, you have got to believe me.

The no huddle is not cheap, if a team isn't paying attention or gets caught offsides, too bad. It takes a great mind to run it.

    MORE ARGUMENTS FOR BRADY:

    Lets make a list:

    50 touchdowns, he beat manning

worse receivers, Moss has had only 1 year with brady.

    Welker was his top target

    more superbowls

    better playoffs

    16 wins

    better playoffs

    7-3 record versus manning

    better playoffs

i know i didn't cover enough, but i'm running out of time.

So who would you chose? why do you agree and why do you disagree. Email me if you have anything else to say. just don't cuss me out or call me stupid.

  • nfl season preview, your thoughts?

    THE AMERICAN FOOTBALL CONFERENCE

    AFC SOUTH:

    colts - 12-4 (seed 3)

    texans - 10-6 (seed 5)

    titans - 8-8

    jaguars - 7-9

afc south summary- the afc south is giong to be a much stronger than years past (scary). The texans are now the second best team now that the titans don't have big al. The problem is that everyone in the division can't win, sorry jags!

    AFC NORTH:

    ravens - 13-3 (seed 1)

    steelers - 9-7

    bengals - 6-10

    browns - 4-12

afc north summary- remember in 2006 when the ravens went 13-3? what did they have then that they don't have now? oh, right, they had a bad quarterback. the steelers won't rebound too well just like the last superbowl. the bengals don't have t.j. and he's half the reason palmer was so great. the browns suck.

    AFC WEST:

    chargers - 12-4 (seed 2)

    broncos - 8-8

    chiefs - 8-8

    raiders - 4-12

afc west summary- the chargers will win the division no doubt, and the second seed in a tiebreaker over the colts. the broncos and chiefs are both decent, but broncos are going down and chiefs are going up. the raiders will suck as usual.

    AFC EAST:

    patriots - 10-6 (seed 4)

    dolphins - 9-7 (seed 6)

    bills - 8-8

    jets - 5-11

afc east summary- patriots will win only because the dolphins have such a tough schedule. I'd like to believe that the bills will do good, but they are just a team that exists, they complete the 32 team format and give the nfl a few good games a year. the jets will be better on defense, but suck on offense with sanchez at the helm.

    AFC PLAYOFFS:

texans at patriots- texans win 27-17

dolphins at colts- colts win 34-27

texans at chargers- chargers win 29-10

colts at ravens- colts win 17-14

colts at chargers- colts win 24-21

afc playoff summary- the texans win the franchises first playoff game ever. the patriots are stunned, but after a year of sitting at home during the playoffs, they just can't deliver. the dolphins lose to the colts in a shootout, but the dolphins just don't have enough offensive firepower. the texans play the chargers and lose in the only game of the playoffs that is uncompetitive. the colts beat the ravens on the road, driven by the prospect of a superbowl in caldwell's first year. the colts win in san diego and head to the superbowl. Antonio gates under performs in the game which leads to a loss. antonio gates averaged 9 receptions for 112 yards and a touchdown a game. by far the best postseason by a tight end. He is the key to chargers victories but only has 5 catches for 68 yards this game, with one costly fumble.

    THE NATIONAL FOOTBALL CONFERENCE

    NFC SOUTH:

    falcons - 12-4 (seed 2)

    saints - 10-6 (seed 6)

    panthers - 6-10

    bucs - 4-12

nfc south summary- Matt Ryan tears it up and the saints get the playoff berth they've always deserved. the panthers just can't match last seasons performance and live up to the hype. The Bucs are just going to suck this year, its hard to explain...

    NFC NORTH:

    Vikings - 11-5 (seed 3)

    Bears - 9-7

    Packers - 8-8

    Lions - 3-13

nfc north summary- the vikings are still on top, but not for long, they're about to go into a period of being a bottom-barrel team. The bears will improve with Cutler, but he won't have the weapons on offense he had with the broncos. the packers are about to become a great team. The lions.... well, they improved!

    NFC WEST:

    Cardinals - 10-6 (seed 4)

    Seahawks - 8-8

    49ers - 7-9

    Rams - 1-15

nfc west summary- the cardinals deserve a lot more respect now, and they STILL don't get it. The seahawks are better if Hasselbeck is healthy, but not a playoff team. The 49ers are on an upward trend, they start out 5-3 and finish 2-6. the Rams take the lions spot as the worst team in the league.

    NFC EAST:

    Eagles- 13-3 (seed 1)

    Giants - 10-6 (seed 5)

    Redskins - 9-7

    Cowboys- 5-11

nfc east summary- the eagles will be monstrous this season, i just know it. the giants are always a good team, and they actually manage 10 wins without burress. Bradshaw steps in nicely for ward with 7+ touchdowns as a backup. The redskins are improved with big al, but it doesn't show in the win loss column because of a few close losses. The offense needs a little push in the offseason. The cowboys are about to have an off-year.

    NFC PLAYOFFS

Giants at Cardinals- Giants win 27-21(OT)

Saints at Vikings- Vikings win 44-42

Giants at Falcons- Falcons win 28-14

Vikings at Eagles- Eagles win 14-7

Falcons at Eagles- Eagles win 23-20

nfc playoff summary- The giants win because of a costly interception by kurt. and the vikings beat the saints in a shootout, the surprising mvp of the game is tavaris jackson, who throws for 2 touchdowns and rushes for 2. The Falcons shatter all hopes of a manning bowl with a great performance by ryan. the eagles beat the vikings because of some great running by westbrook, who runs for over 125 yards and receives 8 passes for 100+ yards. The Eagles head to the superbowl after The falcons commit 6 turnovers, two by mat

  • Mike Vick go to the colts!?!?!?!?!?

Yeah it sounds crazy. But it's a great idea. I'm not saying that he has to play quarterback, nobody, i repeat, NOBODY would give up Manning for a guy who hasn't played in two years. The colts have always been a simple offense, the most excitement has been the no huddle offense. They don't use motion, they don't have insane speed at running back or quarterback, and they don't run any sort of wildcat.

With Vick, they can throw him in the mix every once in a while at halfback or a slot receiver. This will make them more explosive and unpredictable. If they get double coverage on Vick for a play or two, they can go deep to Reggie Wayne or Gonzales. And I think Dungy wanted this. He has said that Mike Vick should play again, AND he went to visit him in prison. I think he's dropping hints to caldwell and polian.

If you put manning and Vick on the same team, lord knows what's going to happen to this offense. Here's a quick sneak peek at a possible no. 1 offense

    Manning:

    4000+ yards passing

    Addai:

    1000+ yards rushing

    Donald Brown:

    500+ yards rushing

    Vick:

    300+ yards rushing

200+ yards passing (on a hb pass or wr reverse)

that is OVER 6000 yards! They could easily break a record for most yards by an offense... EVER. And don't you go off thinking that Addai and Brown rushing for a combined 1500 yards is crazy, that's less than 100 yards a game total, throw in some yards for Vick and the colts are rushing for about 120 yards a game, that's very possible. Your thoughts?
