Manning Vs. Brady, colts and pats fans read!?

I am not just saying this because I am a Colts fan. I do honestly believe the Colts are a better team than the Pats and Manning is a better quarterback than Brady. Look at the stats. The 2007 season was Brady's 8th season in the NFL. Compare his career after 8 seasons to Manning's after 8 seasons. Manning had more passing yards and more touchdown passes. So, it is hard to say Manning sucks and is better than Brady. Second, I am not defending Brady but I saw someone above my answer who said Brady had crappy receivers. Are you serious? Troy Brown and Deion Branch were/are not crappy receivers. Brown has since retired but Branch is not doing too bad in Seattle. Second, the amount of rings Brady has can't be judged based on just him. Brady didn't win those Super Bowls: The team won those Super Bowls. I know Manning is not that great in the playoffs, but he is not the only one to blame. His team doesn't always step up either. Both players have a great team to work with, but overall when comparing the two quarterbacks, not them and their teams, the edge goes to Manning.

Yep! That was a crazy and very good game between two very good teams. The Pats are arrogant and may be cheats but Brady and Moss are amazing. Moss uses his height to his advantage and even made a one armed catch. It was very suspenseful and came down to the wire. It's too bad the Superbowl usually isn't this good and both of these teams can't play in it. They are truly the 2 best teams in the league and it's a shame one of them had to lose. They each should have gotten a win or had a tie! Even not having all their starters, the Colts, especially the defense was awesome. New England got lucky and won the game. It was luck or they made a pact with the Devil-turnovers, sacks and penalties and they still WIN??? Someone will knock them off their pedestal sooner or later since the Colts unnerved them at times. If they were truly cheats, they would have known that the Colts' defense defensive schemes and would have been able to outsmart them! It was a great game and Indy should be proud. Tony Dungy is still the class of the NFL and the Pats are the unclass! Go Colts!

As a half pats fan, I have to agree with your facts. But with all do respect, Peyton and Tom are two different quarterback. Yeah sure, they are pocketed, but I am talking about mentality. Tom as more of a personality to make players around him better by making them work their *** off. That's why most of the time, when something goes wrong on Offense or even defense, you see how pissed he gets and how he works with Belichick and the rest of the team to correct the error. However, Peyton is the type of quarterback that shows leadership and accountability. If Colts are down in a game, he will be the role model and try to lead the time back by not giving up. An example is that colts vs patriots game where the colts made a comback back in the champsionship game in 2006. Now that's what you call leadership. He steped up his game to enhance to winning the superbowl. But physically, they are 90% the same quarterbacks, but their surroundings are different. This year, Brady is coming off a serious injury, but he will have 2-3 good targets to throw the ball too, and a pretty sold Oline where Manning will pretty much have the same number of targets, but Oline is a bit weaker. With the coaching change in Indianapolis, their might be some changes and tweaks but for the better or the worse. We will have to wait and see...

**EDIT** just saw the clutch part, there is NO WAY manning is more cluth than Montana or Elway..

I lost you when you said that he is more clutch than elway and montana. ARE YOU SERIOUS??? You must be. Because montana and elway have more than 1 ring. Manning had harrison and wayne and still only has 1 ring. If he was more "clutch" he would not have a terrible playoff record.

Brady is better. He has 3 rings with crap receivers. Where is Manning?

And i could care less about both teams. The patriots right now are a better team. I know you do not like that answer but your defense is terrible. You have 1 good pass rusher, one good LB, and Bob Sanders. That is it.

I know this does not get me best answer but you are getting an honest answer here. I am not trying to say your team is garbage because then my point was missed. I am a seattle fan and i know the colts and pats would most likely beat them. The colts are a great team. But the patriots are just better.

Im goin with manning im a colts fan to i agree with ur thinking but u forgot 1 minor detail The patriots have been cheating since Bledsoe got injured brady took over and beat the rams. They finally got caught but nothin happened. Peyton will win the superbowl this year and there is no reason y he shouldnt be the greatest QB of all time. All of mannings recievers were not well known till peyton started throwing the ball to them

well, considering qb's are judged on how they perform in the playoffs, brady has manning beat! brady performs in both the regular season and the post season:) ( but, that doesn't matter right)? wrong, it is all about the postseason, that is when all the greats step up: montanna, bradshaw,brady and the newest member roethlisberger:)!

btw- maybe tom didn't do anything last year because well, he was injuried(duh)! and people talk about the steelers:) tom is back and when healthy the pats can't be beat so that's why they are talked about, so get over it:) the pats didn't win superbowl42( so what):)

I'll just say this: Manning is in no way more clutch than Montana or Elway. Montana was clutch in 2 Super Bowls, it doesn't get more clutch than that, and Elway had most of his clutch moments while leading a team that without him, probably couldn't win 5 games, let alone make 3 Super Bowl appearances.

Never cuss you out but i have something to say. Everyone who loves NFL is so sick of hearing about Tom Brady. He didnt do anything last year. For the past several years every sports station has talked about him instead of the game we were watching. Now im not saying he is bad or anything but jesus get off of Tom Brady just for a year. Appreciate other players for once. You know the Steelers arent givin credit were credit is due. All you hear is Tom Brady Tom Brady Tom Brady.

So Brady didn't have good Wide Recievers. He wins 3 Super Bowls. He GETS good WRs, and LOSES the Super Bowl. Hmmm, is SpyGate really meaningless? If it is then that PROVES that people aren't giving credit to Branch and others. I call them like I see them.

Brady is better than Manning. The Pats are better than the Colts. Be happy with Manning's numbers they make a fitting consolation prize.
