  • Am I the only one who broke out because of BareMinerals?

I've been reading answers on here and everyone seems to think BareMinerals is the best foundation out there for acne prone skin. Before I used it I had perfect skin and once I started using it I got REALLY bad acne. I'm just wondering if I'm the only one who has experienced this. Over the course of six months I went from perfect skin to having bad acne on a majority of my face. Since I was a teen with limited funds I felt like I had to use it up before buying something else and by the time I had my skin was a mess. I had felt some itchiness (really mild) when applying it but I assumed it was just the brush I was using because after five or ten minutes it would subside. It's been three months since I stopped using it and got the help of a dermatologist and though the acne is mostly cleared up I am still recovering from the scars. I just want to share that it doesn't work for everyone and if someone else out there experienced the same thing you aren't alone. My BareMinerals experience <<<<

  • Best BB / CC cream for acne-prone skin?

I have an oily T-zone & am acne-prone so it needs to be oil-free.

I would prefer a matte finish and something that absorbs shine.

I'm also very pale so that will rule out quite a few current products.

So far I've only tried Clinique's CC in "very light" which was a perfect color match but made me VERY oily. I had to blot my skin every other hour when I usually don't have to for a good five hours with my normal foundation, (Clinique Stay Matte) too bad the lightest shade is still too dark.

I've done a ton of research and I feel like I'm just running around in circles. Help please!

  • Are BB creams okay for acne prone skin? Any brand suggestions?

I'm currently using Clinique's Stay Matte foundation while I work on clearing up my acne. I like the light coverage since my acne isn't that bad but the color is still too dark for me. I'm thinking of either switching to a new foundation or a BB cream but I was wondering whether or not a BB cream would cause further breakouts. In foundations I tend to stay with matte ones. I don't like my face to look "dewey". Suggestions on brands of foundations / BB creams would be much appreciated. Thanks!

  • What are some of the best sheer to moderate coverage foundations?

I'm 19 so my skin is prone to breakouts so the foundation definitely needs to be oil-free and noncomedogenic. I'm also very fair and I am a strict "matte foundations only" girl. I'm currently using Clinique's Stay Matte Foundation and I LOVE it but it's too dark even in the lightest shade they offer. I am willing to pay $30+ for a foundation if it will live up to my expectations because I honestly have a problem trusting the quality of drug-store brands. I've tried Neutrogena's Healthy Skin foundation but it made my face really shiny and was way too orange for my pale face. Thanks to anyone who answers!

  • How to confront my friend about her dishonesty?

I have a friend who I've know for a few years now and the more I've gotten to know him the more lies I realize he has told me. For example he claimed to know languages he doesn't, he says he is related to & and dated & is friends with & works for various famous people, etc. he lies about books he's read, movies he has seen, people he is friends with at school, and he will ignore my texts when he sees fit and have a prepared story for me the next day at school. If we were younger I wouldn't think anything of it because most children go through such a phase but we are nearly 18 years old. I'm curious about whether or not he simply enjoys lying or if he could be a pathological/ compulsive liar. Also I wonder if I should confront him about it.

  • Is it possible to get a full-ride to a college by simply asking?

A friend of my mom's has a son and claims he simply called the college he really wanted to go to and asked for and received a full ride because they were his first-choice college. Is this actually possible or was this likely a fabricated situation?

  • Can a person make $100,000+ annually without a college degree?

I'm really dreading college and am honestly just looking for any excuse not to attend. So I'm curious if there are any jobs that just require dedication and eventually provide opportunities for promotion. Thanks!

  • Would anyone like to share their opinions of MTSU? (Preferably current/former students)?

I really don't want to go. Mainly because I'm tired of seeing the people I go to high school with and most of them are going to be attending MTSU. Also I've heard lots of horror stories and talk of crappy professors. Just wondering if there are things to actually look forward to there. :/
