I am getting new skates and blades, and i have already decided the skate but am still thinking about the blade. I want the price range to be about $200-$400. I need something that will last about a year and won't get worn out too quickly. I also want a good toepick for high jumps. I skate 6 times a week and i am currently working on double sal, double toe, and double loop. I have landed my axel, unclean double sals, and double loops. I am thinking about getting a lower end paramount blade (the uncolored one) but I am still not sure yet. What do you think would be a good blade for me?

I am going to be skating to swan lake. I also need the dress to be under a $100. Does anyone have any links to discount dressess or ideas for what the dress should look like?

I'm not really sure if this is normal or if I should be worried. I was walking my dog and then this man on a bike comes up and starts going at the same pace as me. He starts asking me all these random questions and I am not really sure on how to answer so I just kind of mutter answers. Then he asked me if I was in high school and how old I was. I didn't really know if I should answer that question and I didn't know why he was asking that so I kind of just worked my way around answering, but he kept on asking. Eventually he left me alone and continued on his bike ride. But the whole thing just felt kind of creepy. I didn't even know him and it's not like we just happened to be at the same pace, he actually sped up so that he could talk to me. Am I being paranoid? Is he just making casual conversation or is it something to worry about?

A lot of skaters at my rink have a couple different coaches that they train with. I think it's a good idea because then you can get different opinions and strategies. But for some reason my current coach is hesitant to have additional lessons with another coach. But none of the other coaches seem to mind that their skaters take classes with other coaches. Why do you think she is so hesitant?

I am trying to do a beilmann spin from a camel position but I can't really get it right. I can almost do the splits, but not yet. It sometimes really hurts my arms, it just feels like it's stretching them too much. It's also really difficult to get my hips square, instead of turned to the right side, like a regular catch foot position.
