  • Can I take the SAT's even though I am no longer in High School?

I never took the test in school and I am regretting it now. I figured it is time to stop being a loser and get into college but am worried that I might have screwed myself over by not taking the SAT's when I could in school.

  • Which Christian denominations teach a view known as Molinism?

I'm directing this question to Molinists, or even ex-Molinits, who already know what it is. If you don't know what Molinism is then you won't be of much help. Sorry to be rude.

Yes, atheists, I know. It's all fake and God doesn't exist. Good for you for being so much smarter than I.

I've Googled it and have read several articles on Molinism but none of them will tell me which specific denomination preaches it. Is there even such a church or are Molinists just dispersed among the various denominations? Thanks.

  • Do you agree that you shouldn't try to refute someone's beliefs without fully understanding them first?

While waiting for a bus a street preacher asks me if I am saved. I say "yes", he asks what church I go to, then I answer him, and he starts telling me I am not saved because I am a Calvinist. He then starts going through the TULIP (the five points that summarize Calvinist teachings) with me all the while misrepresenting each of them. I correct him when I can get a word in but of course he knows what I believe better than I do apparently.

He then asks me if he can show me a few Bible verses, in which I respond, "Are you going to show me John 3:16, 2 Timothy 2:4, and 2 Peter 3:9? Because if you are going to argue that God wants "all" to be saved, I can argue how "all" only means the elect, not everyone." By then my bus arrived so I had to go.

Granted, he thought he understood Calvinist beliefs but he got upset when I politely corrected him. i look on Youtube and a few other sites and I see the same thing: people misrepresenting Calvinist teachings in order to refute them. Some might be honest goofs, others are obviously deliberate. If you disagree with what I believe, then fine, but at least understand how we perceive the doctrines before trying to refute them.
