So my friend was basically saying that I have no friends outside of school. I do have one, who I text about every day, but the friend at school said she doesn't count bc I met her at church (idk why not) anyways, I'm extremely shy. I have social anxiety so it's hard from me to make new friends and to talk to people. Like I can do its just like I get extremely flustered and nervous.

I really do want to make new friends but I honestly don't know how. There's no like minded people except my best friend, the friend from church. I have interests that aren't common where I live. I live in a small town in TX where the majority are into sports and ag. I play golf and I'm in Ag classes but like I don't focus my free time into that stuff. I like playing videogames, watching movies, writing fanfics, anime, and reading/writing creepypastas. I know not everyone will have the same interests as me. I don't get to go to town a lot because I won't be able to get my license until 6months after my birthday this month. I'm planing to get a job soon. After my 16 birthday in a few weeks so maybe I can make some friends where ever I work.

So basically her and I have a lot in common, like we think the same and have the same interest. We became best friends over the past few months. We knew each other before that but we never had a chance to talk. Well anyways, we text each other almost all day, everyday just talking about random things. She's probably the only person I trusted the as fast as I did. With that said, we tell each other everything.

But here's the thing that throws everybody for a loop: we don't have the whole boyfriend and girlfriend thing that people think we have. We think of each other as brother and sister. We give each other advice on how to talk to our crushes. Her mother is convinced that were in some secret relationship, which gives us a good laugh because it's so far from the truth.

She knows way to much of my personal life for me to date her (as bad as it sounds, I don't want my the person who will be my gf to know about the some of the stuff in my life). Plus she's a few years younger than me (shes 13 and I'm 16) which seems shallow to some people, but makes sense to me.

Like it's impossible to convince people who don't know us well enough that her and I aren't dating. And we are like deciding how to date our crushes and talking about writing fanfics and stuff.

Oh gosh that wall of text tho^. Lol for the TLDR: why or why not can a guy and girl be besties who think of each other as brother and sister work out?

So basically I said I had a girlfriend. I had a pic with me and a Hooters girl on my phone so I'm like "I can have fun with this" so anyways I was messing with my friend and got the point where I said that my gf may be pregnant. My friend is kinda gullible so she believed every word of it. I'm 16 so and i said the girl was 19. I took so far where my friend starting talking about her past (she has had a rough past btw) and I'm freaking out because I didn't mean for it to happen. What should I do?

I write fanfic and a little of original stuff. I want to know when other writers write. Like I usually write when I feel depressed or bored and usually I mostly write in the afternoon.

I don't under stand how I would get the height. I have the two bases, 15 and 31. I believe i have to find the right triangle on the right side but I can't without another side. So please help me. Don't sweat it if you can't answer it bc I can ask my teacher tomorrow, I just wanted to get done tonight so I'll have a free day tomorrow during her class.

Okay I know how dumb this sounds but

I don't own one. The reason I want to learn how to play one is because I want to empress my best friends (they're twins, a boy and girl) and I feel as if I haven't done anything artistic in my life expect writing a few short story and a bit of fan fiction. I was spending the night at their house and the girl likes to show off her piano playing skills to me every time Im at their house. All I want to is to learn a few songs they know like the dramatic song and The LoZ theme song just to say I could play them. I know my reasons are dumb and selfish. Anyways I don't have a piano or a keyboard and I doubt I could even get one. Is there an app that can teach you the different key and stuff. I'm 15 btw

So I'm writing a short story about this person named Hero. I haven't figured out a good last name for him, yet. I may have his nickname be Lee, which is my middle name but I don't using names of people I know personally because it makes me feel awkward to write about the characters.

A little background on Hero,

He's depressed because of something that happen to his biological parent when he was a kid.

He's in high school, I haven't put him in a grade yet because that part isn't real important ti the plot

He has major trusting issues, he only trust his only friend, Nora, and he thinks everybody's against him

He's an ex-self harmer (cutting) I know there more than that form of it, but it works with my story the best

He thinks he doesn't deserve the Hero and hates to be call it

He also constantly drilling himself in to ground, too. And help you can give to a rookie write will be appreciated . Thanks

So I'm a 15yr old male and I have self harm (cut myself) for a few months now. At first it was on my arm where any regular shirt would cover it, then the cuts got progressively deeper so I started on my thigh. The longest I've gone with cutting 2.5 weeks and since then I've never managed to get over a week until recently. I am a little over a week clean. My New Years resolution was not to cut anymore, and I broke that on the first day. It scared me because I cut more that day and bleed more than ever before so I vowed "no more cutting, if not for myself then for my best friend (she also self harmed but stop before it got bad)". So anyway, I have crush on a friend that I usually hang out with. I have stuff on blogs where a girl who has scars get married with a guy who never self harmed and other relationships like that. Idek why I was reading that stuff but it got me thinking about my recent cuts which are now turning pink/purplish on my thighs. The main question I thought of is "If I'm ever in a sexually relationship with someone, in the future, and they notice my scars, will they understand why I did it and stay with me or would leave me because I used to self harm?" I know I'm dumb for doing it in the first place and it's my fault if my partner does walk out on me. It feels like the only way I'm going to have a good relationship if the woman is an ex-self harmer too. I know I'm a bit too young too be thinking like this but it's like all my friends (guys and girls) are dating and having the time of there life and I'm just there wondering if my scars are going to ruin my future life. So girls/women, would you date a guy knowing that he has self harm scars?

Also, non of that generic, "you need help" stuff. It honestly doesn't help people like me and it makes us feel bad.

So my best friend is a girl (I'm a guy) and she's like the greatest person you'll ever meet. Her mom passed away about 6 years ago. She has struggled with the depressed since her moms passing and now she has a new stepmom and my friend doesnt like her at all. She kiks me venting about her stepmom at least once a week. Like her, I struggled with depressed but mine was because of other problems. She helped me with it. We always had an easy time opening up to each other. I have never cut before but I have thought about it in the past. On thursday, night she kik me and she sends me a message saying that she needs help then she told me that she has finally broken and sends a pic of her arm that had two cuts on it. I tried to make it very clear that I care for her and stuff and she promise that if she ever started to feel like that, that she would contact me some way. She said that it scared her and she was never going to do it again. I'm worried that if similar events happen, she may do it again. Idk how many times I told myself that I wouldn't think of self harm or stuff like that, but I did. I was the only one who she told and he had Me promise her that I wouldn't tell anybody, but the stress was killing me and I did what I felt was right, I told my dad. He promised that he wouldn't tell anybody as long as she never did it again. I trust him because I know that he wouldn't do anything to ruin mine and his relationship. (Our relationship is horrible because he focused all of his attention on to my older brother and used me and my mon as a scapegoat. I never told him that I had been depressed or stressed out. He found when he read mine and my best friend's kiks last night that I have problems and now he's trying to fix thing between us.) I believe that I did the right thing by telling my dad but I feel so guilty because I broke a promise between me and my greatest friend aka the only person that I really do trust. My dad said the only thing I can do is be her friend and look out for her. I've been kiking her and she seem to be doing fine but it's hard to tell by looking at words on a iPod screen. We were making jokes and stuff like that, like we used to do before we found out that we were both depressed. (I knew she was before she knew I was). I feel so freaken powerless. I want to help her so bad but I just don't known how. I'm only 15 and she's 14. It pains me to see my best friend like that and all I can do is watch and hope she gets better. I have been praying since the night she told me and I don't know what else to do. Please help me.

EDIT: i made this a day ago and i didn't feel like changing it. today we had play (its for Church and we have fun. she was the one that suggested that i should join it) practice. She looked like she was having fun. We spent about 10-15 mins in the pray room that her mom design before she pasted away. We joked around and probably had the best time that we have had in a long time. She seems to be doing better but its hard to tell because she sometimes puts on facade around other people but i dont think she did this time.

So my dad compares me to my older brother with everything no mater what it is, He's always like "well you brother did this like this in that class and you're doing it poorly" its so freaken irritating because im not my brother and i will never be . Im always stressed out because of it too esp. my grades is what stresses me out the most. My dad hates it when i make a below a 90, and he still yells if i even if i make above. basically it makes me feel like im not good enough. All of my grades were above a 90 except one, which is my honors biology grade , a 87. this is like my first b in awhile. I got my report card last week on thursday. the school got friday off and i didnt go to school on monday. I know that he's going to start yelling the **** that he usually does. I want to do it in the morning i can get away from him yelling that much. My teach said if any of use get grounded for our first report card to have her call our parents so she can explain that a B is the average grade for the first report card in her class, but i have little doubt that she would be able to explain that to him. so what should i do?

I'm writing a letter how I've been depressed for awhile to my dad. It has very personal things in it so i wont post it on the internet. The reasons why im writing is because i dont know how else i should tell im i have been depressed and im hoping he will stop stressing me out about mu grades. i know yall dont have much to go one but please answer my question.

So im a freshman and all of my teacher just got out of college. I have no problem with that but my english teach gives a summer reading assignment,. the book is The Book Thief, which is a very dark book and is hard to read. The teacher even said that she didnt even understand the book after she read it 3 times. So she tells us to start writing a paper over a theme that can be found in the book. Our rough draft was due last week. it was just the rough draft so i did put some thought into it since its basically the outline of you final draft. She takes a grade on it and instead of putting number grade she puts a letter grade on it. I got a B+(88 #grade) and I was one of the better grades in the class. She counts off because i didnt include quotes in the rough draft because i didnt have the book on me at the time i typed the draft. She even tells me that thats what she thought happen. She counts off because i didnt spell out the numbers. i didnt spell them out because its a freakin rough draft, its not the final so it doesnt mater if the numbers are spelled out. then she says that my last sentence in the paper was informal but she loved it. It was " You can not escape Death, it come unexpected to most but will be welcome by many". Im that made at the fact i made an 88 on the paper but when you only have had two other grades in that class it brings you average down a lot. She didnt bleed on my paper like she did my best friend and my friend's paper was a lot better than mine because i read it and it was great.

She school board already hates my family and if i do go out with her and something happens like i break up with her, i do something with her i shouldnt do,, break her heart or stuff like that, her dad is probably gonna be made at me. since she is crazy, i wouldnt put it past her making up rumors about me if i do break up with her. idk if she's that crazy but you'll never know until it happens. So would you date her?

So my friend's dog just had puppies on tuesday, i think. She post a pic of her holding a puppy and i commented "omg lil puppies" then she asks me if i want one. I asked my parents if we could get one, my dad said it depends on the type. My friend said that the mother was a Chesapeake bay retriver but her family doesnt know what the father is (mutt). My mom and i looked up pics of the type of dog the puppies were. She thinks it would be a good pet to have since we live close to lake and we have a good size yard. MY dad seemed like he like the dog too. SO i was wondering if they make good partners? i read some stuff that says they like to swim, run and play. How big do they get? I also saw something that said that you should take them on daily walks/jogs, which good because im playing baseball and im going to be up and running every morning to stay in shape when i dont have school. Im a 15 year old guy by the way.

So the girl i like is my best friend. I sort of told her twin brother that i like her. it was a heat of the moment type thing. The brother and i are great friends but his sis and i are really close. The reason why i told him is because his sis gets really depressed and i tend to worry too much about my friends and it was just a matter of time before he connected the dots. He's okay with me liking her and he said he wouldn't tell. he also said that this is the first time that one of his friends has like his sis. as far as i know, I think im the only one that likes her in our class. Im some how popular at school, idk how or when it happen, i hear a lot of stuff and see a lot of it too. i have seen hoe people react to when i say i think she's cute and stuff, its not good reactions. idk why im adding this, i think im venting now. :/ oh well. Anyways i think i may probably be the only guy who likes her in that way. so is it a good think that her brother knows i like his sis?
