I am a strong Christian. I have degrees in biology and psychology, but currently work in food production in a pork plant. I am also a spankophile, and have been most of my life. I mainly come on Y!A to seek opinions of others. For factual information I typically go to a credible source.

  • Cannabis Vodka anyone???

I have recently discovered that cannabis vodka exists. I am a big vodka fan so I want to give it a shot. If anyone knows the answers to the following questions it would help a lot.

    1. Is it really worth the extra money?

    2. Is it really legal in the US?

    3. Is it domestically available?

    4. Is it best straight or in mixed drinks?

    5. How many brands of it are there?

  • Why doesn't Y!A have a BDSM section?

They have a GLBT section, and I think it is inappropriate that they do not also have a BDSM section. There happen to be a lot of us on here. I see kinky related questions all the time. Who agrees with me on this one?

  • Have any atheists read one or more of the following?

People have been asking Christians this tonight so I thought I'd join in. Can you open minded free thinkers tell me if you have read:

    1. God and The New Physics - Paul Davies

    2. The Science of God - Gerald Schroeder

    3. Let There Be Light - Smith

    4. The Steppingstones - Scarborough

    5. Any other books that demonstrate the connection between science and faith.

Atheists are proud to say that they have read and studied the Bible, but so what? Satan can quote it backwards for you.

  • I want to get published?????????????

Can anyone tell me where to attempt to market a manuscript of about 450 pages that is a science fiction erotica novel? I believe most publishers would classify it as Paranormal romance" these days. I am a first time author without an agent and I am not interested in POD or vanity presses. Feel free to email me through this site if you want to know more about it.

  • Give me your best vodka recipes?

I am looking for new and creative mixed drinks that contain vodka. I especially like those that also contain milk. White Russian and Chocolate Martini are two of my favorites at the moment, but I'm looking to expand. Be sure to leave a detailed recipe.

  • New planes for Microsoft flight simulator X?

I got this game for Christmas and it is cool but I wanted to have more variety in the planes. Can I get them as downloads from somewhere or can it only be done by buying the expansion pack.

  • Homosexual perception in BDSM?

I frequent BDSM sites, as many of you may have already guessed if you've answered my other questions, and I notice a glaring one way street in them. If a woman spanks another woman, they are not automatically assumed to be lesbian, though they might be. If a man spanks another man, it is assumed that they are gay without question. Are these assumptions accurate? The industry seems to support them by having sites that will have M/f, F/m and F/f action, but no M/m action, since that would make them a "gay site". Keep in mind that I am only talking about BDSM activities that include no penetration or other overt sexuality.

  • Zeitgeist beliefs?????????

How many people on here, religious or not, believe all that the Zeitgeist movie says about the 9/11 issue and the world bank?

How many Christians bothered to go through the first bit and see the real message of the movie?

Do you think that the first segment was just a way to keep Christians from watching it?

Did it make you feel like voting for either candidate was really a futile gesture?

What do you think will happen socially when some of the predictions of the movie come to pass? (North American Union, combined currency, identity cards)

If you are Christian, did the first segment make you wonder?

  • NASA or privatized space flight?

Do you believe that space exploration and colonization would be better served, and move along faster, if it were kept with governments or if private companies were let loose to do as they pleased out there?

I personally think that private sector is the way to go. The competition to grow rich in space will drive production and development of new tech faster and the expansion of humans into space. It will thereby create more highly paid jobs and trigger an increase in college high tech degrees needed to get those jobs. All the while the companies will be bringing back data and resources that humanity can use right here.

  • Race and BDSM??????????????????????

I had a black co worker ask me once, "Why are all white people into BDSM?" Is this a common stereotype among blacks? If so, why do you think that? Because, I can assure you, not all whites are into it. Also, is it commonly assumed that no blacks are into BDSM? Because she also said that but I happen to know that some are.

  • Homosexuality and BDSM?

There are those who seem to think that there is a link between being gay and kinky (BDSM, spanking). I have had people assume that I am gay because of my leather leanings (I am straight), and I was wondering if anyone ever mistook you for being into BDSM because you were gay.

  • Atheists, is love real?

    God is love.

    The two share these commonalities:

    Neither have mass or energy.

    Neither one can be quantified.

Despite a glaring lack of evidence for either one, billions of people throughout time and around the world believed in their existence.

Love has an undeniable impact on our lives and even most atheists that I know will admit that it exists. What is it?

  • How to make tempura?

Every time I go to a Japanese restaurant, I order their fried veggies called tempura. I have tried to make it at home using recipes out of several Asian cookbooks, but it never comes out the same way. How do the pros do it?

  • What about Honey Liquor?

I saw this in my local liquor store and thought I might try it, but it is about $25 a bottle, and they don't have it in airplane bottles. It is a German import, the bottle is wrapped in some kind of basket and the cap looks like a plastic beehive. I can't recall the name, but if anyone knows of it, can you recommend it before I spend my itty bitty paycheck on it?

  • Bourbon recommendations?

I would just like to get the top three bourbon recommendations from those who drink it regularly, based on the smoothness and taste. Also, if you know the average price of it, that would be good. I'm looking around for one or two brands that I can casually sip in the evenings.

  • How is BDSM treated in your religion?

We all know how homosexuality is a hot topic in some faiths, but I am interested in how BDSM is treated. Specifically, tell your religion and cite any references to BDSM in the holy text. Also tell if BDSM is preached against. (FYI: BDSM is bondage and discipline, dominance and submission, sadism and masochism - you know, kink.) Atheists, also feel free to discuss the issue according to whatever morality you follow. This issue has been on my mind since my college days when I did a paper on the subject and found out that the majority of kinky folk are also religious. One day, I hope to find out if there is a significant correlation there, or if it is just an interesting coincidence.

I'll start the ball rolling. I am Christian, and while I find that clergy almost unanimously condemn BDSM as a sin, there is not one verse of the Bible that comes close to discussing it.
