I enjoy helping and offering helpful descriptive solutions to people's homework question in the Science and Mathematics section. I also like offering my opinions and answering questions from the Religion and Spirituality section aimed at atheists and science topics with sources sometimes provided.

  • Creationists, do you realize that evolution...?

Creationists, do you realize that the Darwin's version of evolution is not longer the acceptable model? Darwin was wrong on some things. Yes, you can say that he was disproved, but ever since then, we have revised the theory to include what he didn't. Now, the current evolutionary model is Modern Evolutionary Synthesis, which takes into account DNA, molecular biology, genetics, ribosomes, proteins, mitochondrial DNA, etc.

It actually makes me chuckle a little bit when I see arguments against Darwin. I don't care about Darwin. Come on, you guys are still stuck on 19th century biology when the rest of the world moved on a long time ago. You guys are so far behind in modern science. If you are going to try to refute evolutionary theory, then please learn about the current model.

It's like arguing against Newton's physics when we already replaced them with Einstein's more accurate physics a long time ago.

  • Creationists, how do you describe a "kind"?

Are members of the same species part of the same kind?

Are members of different species but the same genus part of the same kind?

Are members of different genera but the same family part of the same kind?

Are all mammals the same kind?

Are all Primates the same kind?

Are all species of the same genus part of the same kind?

You don't have to answer all of these questions, but just define what a kind is, what the boundaries between kinds are, what keeps a new kind from branching off of another.

  • Do Christians really think...?

Do Christians really think that a starving malnourished African child born with malaria and AIDS and born in an isolated tribe with little to no contact with the civilized world is without excuse for not believing in a god that he has never heard of? Say he has heard of Jesus at least once in his life, along with Allah, Yahweh, Krishna, Zarathustra, Mithras, and Buddha. Is he without excuse?
