  • I started my period three days early and it's irregular what is happening?

I started my period three day early, bled for two and then stopped for one, now I'm bleeding again and cramping. I was just wondering if anyone would have an idea what this means. I've been regular in the past and not sure what's going on. The day before I started I took a test and it was negative. Any ideas?

  • Some advise on Dog being Food Aggressive?

We rescued an American Bulldog back in January. I knew he had some kind of issue with food but not this bad. Today while eating his morning meal I reached down to pick up the pieces that fell out of mouth and put them back in his bowl. He tried to grab my hand. Now this is not some 10 lb dog. He's 75lbs and has a very large mouth on him. I jerked my hand back and kept growling while he ate. I picked up the umbrella and touched his back with it and he turned again to bite. When he was done my other dog walked into the room and he went after him. I need some help please, I have a two year old and cannot take the chance of him biting my son. Any advise will be great!!

  • Should I worry about my English Bulldog?

Today I dropped my six month old male English Bulldog off at that the vet to be neutered. I've heard horror stories about them going under anesthesia and not waking up due to their muzzle and unusually small trachea. I made sure I gave him extra kisses simply because I worried. I trust my vet and he has experience with the breed. But still should I worry about him not waking?

  • When do you plant morning glories?

I'm wanting to plant Morning Glories as a remembrance of my dad. They were his favorite flower and he called me his little Humming Bird (as gifts he would order me Humming Bird statues). Humming Birds are attracted to Morning Glories so it's a win win situation. When is the best time to plant these beautiful flower vines?

  • Is it just me or are there way too many people out there getting dogs or already own that shouldn't?

THIS IS CRAP, I'M SEEING SOME OF THE DUMBEST QUESTIONS ON HERE. WHAT DO I NEED TO GET FOR MY PUPPY? HAS MY DOG BEEN BRED? MY DOG IS BLEEDING EVERYWHERE!!

People really need to do some research BEFORE they get dog/puppy. Stop breeding your dogs!! In our town they put down 27 dogs a month at the least. And people are still out there breeding. It makes me sick. Spay and Neuter your freakin' dogs and cats!!

So now for my question, who agrees??

  • Does anyone have any flea remedies?

I have a 12 week old English Bulldog puppy. Grant (that's his name) is having flea problems. When he was 8 weeks old he was diagnosed with a Grade 3 heart murmur. There is some kind of pesticide in comfortis flea preventive that will affect his heart so he can't have flea preventives. I was wondering what I could use. I've given him dawn dish soap baths but it's not killing the fleas I also went and got him a moisturizing spritz for his coat and skin to keep it from getting dry. My vet told me to get a cotton swab and rubbing alcohol and dab the fleas with it....but come on........Any suggestions??

  • Anyone have any information on Grade 3 heart murmurs in an English Bulldog pup?

Well we have gotten us an English Bulldog pup that's 10 weeks old. A lady has given him to us due to him having a heart murmur. We are willing to take on that responsibility. Now I know they need a low sodium diet but I've been looking online and haven't found any treatment options. I know my vet will give those to me on Monday but I was just wanting to get a good idea on what our little guy will be going through. Thank You so much.

  • Could it be a screw worm (wolf worm)?

I've been puppy sitting for my sister in-law for a couple weeks now. I noticed last night that she had a knot on her lower neck. I felt around on it and it's not just a knot but under the knot something is hooked on the neck its self. A few days ago I had noticed that the fur was missing in a circle shape. While feeling around on her neck last night I realized that she had a scab under the circle of hair. I pull the scab back a little and it's fleshy under there. Could this possibly be a screw worm or maybe an abscess? I've informed her of the knot but she said not to worry about it. Screw worms can kill an animal if left untreated. But I'm not sure what this may be. I don't have the money to take her dog to the vet and she's obviously not worried about it. Any suggestions?

If you're going to be a smart *** then don't waste my time. Thank You!

  • How do I break a coon hound from being tree aggressive?

I've recently adopted a coon hound pup from a local animal shelter (she's about 5 or6 months old) I didn't know if she'd be interested in hunting so I decided to try it anyway. In the midst of training her I learned she is Very interested! Anyway, I've also learned that she's tree aggressive. When one of my other dogs goes near the tree that the coon is in she goes into "fight mode". I was just wondering how in the world do I break her of this?

  • When is the right time to take a pregnancy test?

I have an account with mymonthlycycles.com to track my periods. It has been right on the money for the last three months. It also has a calendar to say when you're fertile. I looked in November and saw that my husband and I had sex two of the days that I was fertile. When can I take a pregnancy test and it be accurate?

  • Is it possible/hard to train an older sent hound to hunt?

I just adopted a black and tan/bluetick coon hound from the Humane Society. I used to coon hunt and know how to train a puppy but not an adult. Is it possible or hard to train "retrain" her? If it's possible would I just start her out like I would a pup?

  • Which makes for a better family dog?

We're tossing up between two puppies. There's the pitbull pup and then there's the wolf hybrid pup. WHich would make for a better family dog. Now I've research on the hybids and I'm just trying to figure out between the two, which would make a better family dog. If you say neither tell me why.

  • What should I do with him?

My stepson has a Chihuahua that keeps biting my 22 month old son. Just a few minutes ago I had my sandal on and he bit my foot. I'm a huge animal lover and just don't know what do with this dog. I know that an animal is a life-long commitment and I just don't know what the best thing is to do. I do know that if it were a larger dog that acted like that it wouldn't stand a chance and would be put down, I just don't know what to do. Please help.!!

p.s. If you're going to leave a sarcastic comment then don't bother trying to leave me a message.
