How do I break a coon hound from being tree aggressive?

I've recently adopted a coon hound pup from a local animal shelter (she's about 5 or6 months old) I didn't know if she'd be interested in hunting so I decided to try it anyway. In the midst of training her I learned she is Very interested! Anyway, I've also learned that she's tree aggressive. When one of my other dogs goes near the tree that the coon is in she goes into "fight mode". I was just wondering how in the world do I break her of this?

When she gets to the tree if she is aggressive put her on the leash. If the coon jumps to another tree let her go and if she gets on that tree aggresive to the other dog then leash her up again. He will eventually learn had the same problems with squirell dogs.
