I'm 38 weeks pregnant and due to move house 4 days after my due date so the doctors are giving me a sweep tomorrow to try and start off labour slightly early so my little boy is born before I move.

Can someone tell me what is involved in a membrane sweep and also how many sweeps I may need before labour starts.

I took my cat to the vets as she has been weeing more frequently than usual. The vet has done a blood test to rule out diabetes, kidney/liver problems but now wants a urine sample. I've bought the special litter from the vets but she won't use it. She's sniffed and then gone and done a wee outside.

I can't lock her in as I have another cat who likes to come and go as he wants.

Any suggestions on how I can convince her to go in the litter tray

A few weeks ago I woke up to one of my cats messing with my hair before she sunk her teeth into my scalp and then a few days ago she was lying on me in bed and then went to bite my face. She's not a vicious cat and there is no aggression when she does it but it does concern me.

Also if you feed her treats she will go to bite your finger instead of the treat and has drawn blood more than once.

Any suggestions why she does this or how to get her to stop

I found out I was pregnant last week and the night I found out I also started bleeding. I went to hospital and had an internal scan and a blood test to check my hcg levels and they also made me an appointment to go back a few days later. The internal scan showed the sac both times(it was much clearer on the second) and after 3 hcg level tests it shows that my levels are rising healthily. I'm still worried though as I seem to have convinced myself I'm no longer pregnant?
