I've just copied you on an e-mail about HB2129 - text messaging while driving an AZ state law to be voted on again in the next session. I have a different matter to discuss with you but it does correlate to this issue. I'm working with state legislatures on that issue. My issue with you involves Social Security and death benefits. Ten years ago Stacy had and recovered from cervical cancer. This made her ineligible for life insurance. Of course you know the feeble amount that the Federal Government allots is not even enough to pay for flowers.

I would like to see a bill adding a one dollar payroll tax per week for a $10,000 life insurance policy for all who don't qualify or who simply think they can't afford life insurance.

I ask this question becuase two weeks ago my fiance was killed by a teenager who was texting while driving.

Hope Fades Away...

Letting the world wash over me

I bathe in the glory of life

The everlasting soul cleansed in immortality

The veil of darkness looms overhead

Storm clouds march across the blue canvass

Heaven turns toward hell

The battleground has been baptized

Life withers away as the sunlight fades

And it is gone…

Timeless

Born of love they emerge from the darkness

Knowing nothing of the world they begin to mature

Creeping, crawling, walking, falling

Life stretched out at their feet

Age is useless

Time passes pure

Breathless youth calling

For wisdom to be complete

The sprint from dawn to sunset

Slows as experience grows to meet the need

True wisdom is reached

When you realize you know nothing at all

Childish memories we begin to forget

Unexpected maturity we begin to concede

Responsibility grows as our elders preached

Commutes and living in urban sprawl

Taxes, car repairs, School plays, little league, braces

Youth is now in the eye of the beholder

Our seedlings breaking through to feel the warm sunlight

Life stretched out at their feet

Looking into their little faces

Before our eyes our winter fades colder

As their spring blooms full and bright

And the everlasting circle will again repeat…

I'm an atheist but I'm at the end of my rope with depression. Several times I have literally cried my eyes out and begged and begged for god to help but I get no guidance. Am I doing something wrong? All it does is make my belief even stronger that there is absolutely no god.
