Where can I sell new slightly warped hardcover children's books?
I am a writer and startup publisher who made the mistake of printing thousands of copies of our hardcover children's book in China. I now have 4000 books that are brand new but start to bow after being out of the cartons within several hours. The bowing happens more quickly in heat/moisture, such as in your car on a hot day. We have lost much time and therefore money and would like to salvage something financially, even if it means $1 per book. Need to unload these books. Any suggestions?
1 AnswerBooks & Authors9 years agoWhat can you do if a judge denies your motion for more parenting time but didn't allow you to come to court.?
I filed for more parenting time after significant change in circumstance. I am a mom who made some mistakes and lost custody and time. Since then I have turned my life around, am back in college with good grades and working towards a career successfully doing an internship as well as working a paying job. I have cleaned up my act as far as any substance abuse. I am on the right track. The judge stated that I could go back to court for my time back when I show a significant change. My ex didn't respond to my motion and therefore the judge heard the case "on paper". I recently recieved my order and was denied more parenting time. I don't understand why I was denied and don't know what the judge believes to be significant change. What do I do now??
1 AnswerLaw & Ethics1 decade agoWhat determines if you need a business plan or not?
My husband and I are writing a series of children's books with other related items to follow. Do we need a business plan if we are trying to pitch to publishers and agents? What about to retail stores? Is this strictly needed if you are borrowing money?

My husband and I want to start a non profit org to benefit the families of sick children, parents, etc. Need feedback from someone who has done it or been personally involved. I know the factual info on getting started, but what is it realistically like financially? Can this be your primary source of income??
