I want to wear this dress at my graduation ceremony. I will have my cap and gown on for most of the day, but also plan on taking pictures without them, so I decided on this dress in black with the white ribbon. I am graduating in December, so it will not be warm enough to wear the dress as is. What can I wear over my arms and chest to help keep me warm without taking away from the look of the dress? Links would be appreciated, so I know where to find your suggestions. Thanks!

I have a Jetta that needs a lot of repair work, I am just looking for a rough estimate on how much it would cost to repair it. I am trying to decide if it would just be better to buy another used car.

The problems with the car that I am aware of are the following:

It needs a new oil pan

the powerwindows do not work and one window is stuck partially down

would need tint removed (its too dark for the state that I currently live in)

The air conditioning does not work

The powersteering has gone out

I really do not know much about cars, but this just seems like a lot of things to repair.

Where would be the best place to try to find the parts that need to be repaired? are these things that need to be done by a professional or can they be done by an amateur?

Just saw that it will be returning in the fall.... its going to be on a new night and different time, but at least it is returning (Sunday's at 10pm).

Was wondering if anyone else was thrilled that it was returning.

Every holiday Google changes their homepage to contain something that reflects that holiday. Well, today Google has nothing except their name. They have no flag, they have nothing!

On the Yahoo! homepage, they have changed the top to display a purple heart and set of dog tags before their logo. I feel that this is their way of honoring those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. I appreciate them taking the time to remember the fallen.

However, I am angry that Google has not taken the initiative to show the same respect to our soldiers, both past and present.

Is anyone else angry over this?

I understand that there are other things in the world to be angry over, but I feel that they could at least acknowledge that today is Memorial Day.

Recently, President Bush made some comments that may have been directed at Senator Obama. This is not my issue, because I happen to agree with President Bush on it and believe that we should hold Senator Obama more accountable for his actions.

My problem with it is that when Senator Obama responded he did not acknowledge President Bush as the president. Instead he simply called him "George Bush," which I view as disrespectful.

How do you feel about this? Do you think it is disrespectful for a presidential-hopeful to completely disregard the title of the president when referring to him?

I am aware that there are bigger issues out there that need to be addressed, but it all starts with the smaller issues and this simply emphasizes the lack of respect in today's society.

4th grade social studies that deals with forming a new government. Specifically, dealing with the end of the American Revolution and writing the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

I am a member of a newly organized Veteran's Society at a University. We are trying to plan an event for Veteran's Day 2007. We do not have University funding at the moment.
